Logfile from Mosiah.

Zhesteth's Dream Valley

Soft, softer, softest. It appears as though this entire room has been somehow lined in fur, feathers, and any other soft, fuzzy substance currently known to Pern. A hugely expansive, rug covers almost the entire floor, so plush that one's feet have a tendency to actually disappear within the pastel rainbow it is colored in. A dozen extremely cushy, overstuffed, oversized pillows sit near the hearth, each colored a different shade of pink from the others, and assorted blankets and such are strewn about in a strangely pleasing manner. No need for furniture when the entire room is one big cushion, after all. Even the walls and ceiling have been lined with feathers and fuzz, starting in an indigo color on the ceiling and lightening as it goes down to a blueish white near the floor. Zhesteth's bed is in one corner, covered in a fine, supersoft straw, with Lhana's raised cot such a high pile of pink blankets and down pillows as to make the two-person bed's shape rather hard to define at the moment. Even the curtains over the windows are sheer and cloud-like, giving the general feeling of extreme comfort. Naptime, anyone?

For a weyr, the room smells surprisingly...un-dragonish. Rather, the room bears the faint scent of flowery perfumes, probably a result of excessive amounts of smelling substances that have since sunk into the fur. Mmmm...flowery!

  It is a summer afternoon.

On the ledge, you see four dragons.

You see Lhana's Legolas Lovin' Lounge here.

Lhana, Fyria, T'am, and Tevya are here.

Obvious exits:

Ledge

T'am gets jiggy with it.

Lhana sits roughly in the middle of the room, lounging in the soft, soft, soft, soft, softsoftsoft carpet.  Yeah, it's /that/ soft.  She appears to have cleared out Zhesteth's latest additions to the room's decor for the time being, leaving the room normally colored for once.  A deck of cards she holds, and she is shuffling it over and over again, waiting for people to come in.  Doot dee doo...

Fyria ambles her way into the weyr, giving Lhana a bright wave.  Seems like that score is healing quite nicely, as Fy's moving with a greater amount of ease than she has in the past few days.  "Hey Lhana -- heard this is where the party's at?"  Fy kicks her boots off, bare feet enjoying the softsoftsoftsoftsoft feel of the carpet.  "Shells.  You /need/ to tell me who your weaver is for your carpets.  I could use a few of these."

Tevya enters after Fyria, an amused glance upon her face as she shakes her head.  "I won't even ask," She comments to no one in particular.  "Lhana! Fyira,"  Greetings for her fellow clutch-sibs are offered as she crosses the room, she too flicking off her boots so as not to damage the softsoftsoftsoftsoft carpet, sighing as bare feet touch the fabric, "And do tell me also. I'll have to commission some of this for myself."

V'der slinks in, all light sandy hair and lanky, skin-draped muscles with his trademark black sisal cape swishing at his heels. "I heard the word party," he states. "I'm here." With, of course, ultra-cool Darth. Though he had to be detained at the ledge. Sigh. He follows on the heels of his clutchmates, blue gaze shifting over both of the bluerider's shoulders.

Mosiah scratches his way up to the ledge by his fingernails and toes. When one hasn't a dragon, they do the best they can with what they've got. Well, okay... maybe not. He isn't that crazy to do something like that, but he did hitch a ride up here. Showed off a little leg, got a ride. Easy as that. "Lhana-sweetling," he sings, or something close to it while passing from the ledge into the main area of the weyr, bearing a pair of skins and a bouquet of moongazers. "I come baring gifts." He tugs one moongazer from the good dozen or more for his own before making as if to hand the rider his goods. You know, the skins and the flowers.

Lhana beams.  "A good decorator /never/ reveals her secrets."  Not unless she's on a top-rated decorating TV show.  Which Lhana is not.  So there.  Everyone gets their own smile before Lhana stands.  "That's right, V'der...Party," she says, before passing him by to get to Moe.  Gifts have priority over Non-Gifts, after all.  "Ooooh, Moe!  Are these for /me/?"

Fyria pulls up a piece of carpet, metaphorically speaking, and drops her rear upon it with a comfy sigh.  "Awww...that's a shame.  Else we'd be giving the weaver some of our marks for his or her works."  Fy winks at Tev, managing a subtle, polite nod towards V'der, and an obvious look of approval to Mosiah and his flowers.  "Well /done/, Moe!"  The flowers, that is.

"Oh well..I guess we'll just have to suffer," Tevya comments, before dropping onto the carpet. "Though it's a shame to let such a good Weaver not get his or her commission for such fine work, right Fyria?"  Dragging her fellow blue-rider into this, Tevya turns to return her wink, only to drop her head in a nod, "He came prepared," Tevya replies, grinning; "Well done indeed."

Mosiah flashes Lhana a wry smile before handing them over to her, "One is a sparkling wine, the other is some Tillek red I managed to keep for a 'special' occasion. Feel free to break them open now, if you  haven't any on hand." As for the flowers, he flickers a glance to Fyria before nodding to Lhana, "Of course, they dull in your beauty, Lhana." Or something like that. He flashes her another wink before nodding a greeting to V'der, "I haven't seen you in awhile, old man." Then passing by, his path distinct as he moves towards Tevya, "Well, I try." A somewhat shy smile as he brandishes that single moongazer flower plucked from the bouquet, offering it to her.

Lhana positively /beams/, taking the bouquet first before handing the wine off to Fy.  She can distribute - she's /is/ in Inferno, after all.  She should know these things.  Lhana then turns, gliding her way over to her old seat behind the Deck.  The bouquet is draped carefully next to her - she'll take care of them properly later - and a little frown is sent to The One That Got Away, aka the single flower Moe gave to Tevya.  That was supposed to go to /her/, dagnabit!  But then she turns her attention back to the cards.  "Heeeey," she says, as if she hadn't thought of the idea already, "Would you look at that.  Anyone up for a game of Question Cards?"  She smiles, sweetly.

Fyria gratefully accepts the wine, easily unpopping the cork and giving the contents an experienced sniff.  "Ooo...Moe...very good taste /indeed/."  She heads over to rummage for a few goblets and mugs and returns, each filled just right with wine.  "Help yourself," she says brightly, passing a mug around until everyone has one in their grasp.  She eyes the deck warily as she sips from her own goblet, answering "I suppose so.  Haven't played that in Turns, come to think of it."

V'der, now there was someone Tevya has yet to see, for the name draws her gaze in the direction Mosiah was glancing at, and low-and-behond.. "V'der, well met."  A drop of her head in a partial nod is offered as greeting, Tevya turning then to smile at Moe, spotting proffered flower in the process.  "Oh.."  Flustered comment that leaves her not quite as charming as she'd like to be, before reaching out to accept it, "Thank you, it's lovely."  Her smile widens as she whiffs at the flower, "And it smells lovely."  The flower is then tucked behind an ear, so Tevya isn't as apt to forget it.  "You're joining us, aren't you?" Stating the nearly-obvious is always a good thing to do.

V'der is /so/ not an old man. He's not even Ike's age. So, youngster scowls at Moe for a long moment, before shaking his head and blinking at his clutchmate. "You know, Tevya," he seriously states, "Sometimes you really make me think of your sanity." Innocence. He, however, hangs back, not entirely sure if this is the type of party he's used to. No.. definately not. No music, and definately no dancing. Sulk. Moodiness is a typical for the brownrider, and the young man scowls.

Mosiah takes a mug as well, flashing a grin back over to Fyria in thanks. "Well, I might only be a journeyman, but sometimes I get a couple of grateful customers." Yes. Customers. Patients. Same thing. "Well-to-do ones, at that." Saving some Master's toe has its perks. "And it looks a little better on you than well...*cough*" He flashes her a teasing wink before nodding, "A question deck, eh? I suppose if you all think you can stomach the truth, I suppose I could oblige and join." And the drink he brought should help loosen some tonuges. V'der's scowling is noted, and countered with a broad grin. Very broad.

Joining us?  Oh, Moe isn't joining us.  Lhana just invited him up here so that she could get flowers and wine from him, and then she's going to send him away.  "Come on, Moe, sit down."  ...Or not.  Oh well.  V'der gets a glare for all his sulking.  /Lhana's/ the only one who's allowed to sulk.  Everyone knows /thaaaat/.  "So everyone's in, then?"  She looks around, and then, not really waiting for an answer, says, "I'll draw first.  Moe, you can answer first."

Lhana's Question Cards

What first appears to be an ordinary deck of playing cards, their backs colored in High Reaches blue framed in by High Reaches black, is actually one of those wonderful Question Decks! A small intruction card is tucked into their midst: Type 'draw card' to play.  First, pick a person to begin.  They pick someone else to answer the question they draw.  They draw a card, and the other person answers it truthfully.  Then, that person picks someone else to answer the next question.  And so on and so forth.  There are no wrong answers.  There are no winners.  There is only pure fun and enlightenment.  Enjoy!

Lhana leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card reads: Where is your favorite place to relax?

Tevya has to hide the grin from V'der, she really does.  Only after she's sure it's gone, does she turn back to offer him a wink, "Well is it my fault if I forget faces easily?" Even if she did spend a few Turns with him in the same barracks, there were thirty-odd others with her in there..and memory tends to get foggy after a period of time.  "Besides, I've other things on my mind.  So no harm intended though, be sure I'll remember you from this point on."  Sweet smile is slightly mocking, though no real harm is meant.  As the game begins, Tevya turns her attention onto it, watching Lhana as she pulls the first card from the deck.

Mosiah drops down to sit near to Tevya, one arm folding into his lap as the other hand holds his mug of fine alcoholic beverage. Yumm. He takes a sip of the liquid, thoroughly enjoying it before blinking over to Lhana, "Where is my favorite place to relax? Do you want the version safe for young ears or the more provocative one?" At the mention of young ears, he flickers a teasing glance to V'der, and then continues, "Well, when I want to relax, I'm thinking of quiet. It can get kind of loud at work. My favorite place used to be this cove out at Ista that wasn't frequented that much, but now... here at Reaches? I suppose my room. Blissfully quiet in there, 'until an apprentice comes barging in, yelling at the top of his lungs about some woman with a pussy abscess." He hopes that answers the question. "Next one is for our find friend V'der..."

V'der stares at Moe for a long, long moment. And scowls. He's not that young. Sniff. Then, he blinks. "You're twisted, man." Is that a pleased note in his voice? Of course. V'der thinks that High Reaches should have /more/ twisted people. Yes. Cough. Scary. "Great. For /me/?" He reverts to pre-Impression Anakin state, whining. Loudly.

You lean over and take the top card.

The card reads: Do you prefer sunrises or sunsets?

V'der leans back, conflicting emotions colliding over vain face. He can't really twist that that much. Sigh. "Sunsets," he finally states. "If I'm up early enough to /see/ a sunrise, it's not preferable." Shudder. "Next question will be to our sadly-forgetful-of-my-handsome-mug clutchmate Tevya." Flashed grin, and he leans forwards to snag a card.

V'der leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card says: Do you have any siblings? If you do, do you get along with them?

"You'll never let me forget that," Tevya comments, grinning.  The question related to her by V'der is given a thoughtful pause before she nods, "I have an older sister and we get along well."  And that was relatively painless.  "Lhana, you're up!" Tevya calls out as she reaches for a card from the deck.

Tevya leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card reads: How many kids would you like to have and why?

Lhana shudders.  Muchly.  'Pussy abscess' has to be the grossest phrase ever invented.  Ewwww.  Moe's proximity to Tevya earns a jealous glance, and Lhana turns her smile back on.  "Good answer," she praises, even if there was nothing particularly great about it.  Then, as the next card is drawn, Lhana turns her gaze to V'der.  Hmmm.  Well, that was to be expected.  Tevya gets a nod.  Ho hum.  But wait...question for Lhana now?  Lhana, blinks, then shudders slightly.  "Children?  Faranth, /none/.  I can't stand the little brats."  Twitch.  "Crying, screaming, slobbering, unhygeneic..."  Mutter mutter.  She takes a sip of soothing wine, gives a little sigh, and then says, "Oookay, V'der, how about you go again?"  Sugary smile.

Lhana leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card reads: If you had to eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

V'der's response is fast and hard. "Cookies," he states, with a firm nod. "Nothing else." He could live off of them, too. Easily. A die-hard Reachian, ain't he? "Moe! You're up." He grins innocently over to the Healer, and quick-draws a card from the top. "Hmm. Wonder what it'll be..."

V'der leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card states: What kind of pain do you fear the most?

Mosiah flashes Lhana quite the grin, "No children? Not even a single rugrat to tug at your heartstrings as well as your pant leg? Of course, half the fun is in the..." Well, you know. Another wink goes to Lhana before he is looking to V'der for the draw of the card. "What kind of pain do you fear most?" he echoes, grin turning wry. "Well, as any good healer will tell you, that's exactly what numbweed and fellis are for." A drink of his wine, a sigh, and then the completion of the answers, "Ohhh, but what is physical pain when compared to that of the heart. The pain of rejection and lost love." Still answered somewhat dramatically, even if they have a touch to truth to them. "Tevya is next."

You lean over and take the top card.

The card says: Would you, if such a thing were possible, allow your friend or mate into your mind? Let them know all your secrets?

"Really?" Tevya asks of Lhana as she gives her answer, only to tilt her head and glance at V'der as he's given a question.  Jealous looks aren't noticed, simply because Tevya wouldn't know one if she saw it, nor really expect one from people either.  So she's quite oblivous.  She does however, grin at V'ders response, "I could go for some cookies right now."  A quiet comment that is soon dropped as the next question is asked to Moe, and Tevya offers her full attention for the answer.  A small laugh is  her only reply, accompanied by a curious glance his way, but she's soon thinking about the answer she'll have to give.  "I suppose I would," She begins, "I mean..I'd trust them enough already and they'd probably know everything about me so it really wouldn't matter."  So her answer is a yes.  "Okay.. next question is for Lhana."

Tevya leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card reads: Where is your ideal place to live and why?

Lhana rolls her eyes at Moe.  "/No/."  No children.  Ever.  Then again, she had much the same sentiment about dragons.  And look where /that/ got her.  But then she smiles, just to lighten things up.  Another jealous look is given as Moe chooses /Tevya/ next.  Uh-huh.  Just as she suspected.  Tev's answer is only half-listened to as Lhana's creative, if strange, mind cooks up a thousand unhappy conclusions that likely have no basis in either logic or reality.  As a question is asked to her, Lhana gives a little shake, looking at the card curiously.  "My ideal place to live?"  She thinks for a moment.  "Any place where there's nice weather, hundreds of dream men, and no women but me.  And a few choice friends, of course."  She doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings, after all.  "/Is/ there a place like that?"  And could she maybe possibly be allowed to rule it?  Yes?  But anyway, mooooving on...  "Moe.  Your turn."  The card is flicked almost carelessly toward him.

Lhana leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card says: Do you have any siblings? If you do, do you get along with them?

Mosiah reaches over near to Fyria to reclaim the wine skin, refilling his mug. He glances about the small group to see if any of the others need some more as well. His grin widens at Lhana's answers, "Ohhh, then you'll be sure to invite me there if you ever end up in that ideal place... and you won't need the other men." The wink that follows in almost exaggerated. A breath and he is answering the question posed to him, "Yes, millions and millions.... Well, to be honest, I'm not sure if I have any blood siblings or not." He shrugs his shoulder negligently, "But I had plenty of fellow 'brats that I grew up with that I consider my siblings? Does that count? It was a mixed group, and I tended to get along with most of them. Back to you, V'der..."

You lean over and take the top card.

The card says: Do you have any siblings? If you do, do you get along with them?

V'der eyes Moe for a long time, before shaking his head, and eyeballing the card. "Uhmn." Blink. "I'm an only child, biologically, though I have plenty of foster siblings. And.. yes, I get along with all of them." Because they fear him like they fear the Whining Dark Side. Wait.. same difference. Cough. "Lhana.. You're the only one I haven't carded yet." Lopsided, unbelievably charming grin - for the brownrider, anyhow - and he leans over to snag a card.

V'der leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card says: Would you, if such a thing were possible, allow your friend or mate into your mind? Let them know all your secrets?

Lhana winks right back at Moe for that one.  "Don't be too sure about that one..."  Let's see...one man, lots of men, one man, lots of men.  Doesn't seem like too hard of a choice to her.   V'der's grin earns a charming smile right back.  She didn't know he even /had/ charm.  Iiinteresting.  But anyway...back to the game.  As to the question, she offers a very definite "No."  She shakes her head.  "Having Zhesteth in my head is plenty.  Not that I'd ever have it any other way.  But...a person?  No."  Lhana likes to keep at least a /few/ secrets, apparently.  A nod is given to Tevya, the only person she hasn't asked a question to yet.  "Your turn."

Lhana leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card reads: What would you do if you had enough currency on hand to do /anything/ you ever wanted?

Tevya folds her hands in her lap as she eases her legs out from underneath one another, before switching one over the other and falling still to listen to the questions posed.  The responses meet and satisfy her curiosity, for she soon reaches for the pack at her waist to withdraw a once-forgotten pack of dried-wherry strips.  One is drawn out and held to the side as she offers the pack around.  "If I had enough marks?" Tevya repeats, "Well I'd probably buy myself a couple of Runners.. I've always wanted one.  Give some to my friends and family.."  The list is tacked off as Tevya glances towards the ceiling, "Give some of it away too, really." A shake of her head and grin, "That and I'd buy treats for the entire Weyr."  After a pause, she turns to Moe, "Okay your turn.."

Tevya leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card says:  What's your favorite food? Drink?

Mosiah keeps getting stared at. If this keeps up, he might just get some kind of complex. He idly notes at the end of Tevya's words, "I've never ridden a runner in my life." And if he did, he would probably have an allergy fit of apoplectic proportions. "Treats are always good. Food? Oh, and where do I start? There are so many magnificent dishes out there.. But, I have to say that after all that time in Ista, I've grown rather fond of ale-steamed 'claws -you know, like they had at Keroon the other day. Melt in your mouth delicious. As for drink... the sparkling wine is always the best. Ready, Lhana?" He looks across to her with a soft smile before drawing a card.

You lean over and take the top card.

The card reads:  What is your most favorite thing to do?

Lhana raises her eyebrows at Tevya's answer.  Well, that's awfully philanthropic of her.  But she smiles, too, because Tev would probably give some to her, or so Lhana believes.  Which would be a Good Thing.  Then she leans over to look at the card and...giggles.  "Do I have to answer that honestly?"  Smirk.  "Well, I don't suppose I have /one/ favorite," she says, stretching out so that everyone can behold the wonderful majesty of her shorts-clad legs.  "But I like going for rides on Zhesteth.  Provided she doesn't take me straight into a lake."  Scowl.  "And I've certainly come to enjoy travelling down to Ista.  You know, wandering the beach, stopping by the Mug for some drinks..."  And some men.  But we don't need to get into that.  V'der is nodded to next.  "Your turn."

Lhana leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card reads: What would you do if you had enough currency on hand to do /anything/ you ever wanted?

V'der looks thoughtful. "What would I do?" A low rumbling chuckle is emitted forth. "Probably buy every case of Benden Cross that Jaryn and Liothe've ever stocked, rent a hold, and hold a gather in Darth's honor." He's got a twisted mind, doesn't he? Cough. "Ready, Moe? You'd better be." He leans over to draw.

V'der leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card reads: What would you do if you had enough currency on hand to do /anything/ you ever wanted?

Mosiah chuckles softly, glancing askance to Lhana, "Zhesteth tends to do that often? Straight into the lake?" He can't help but hide is smile at her, a dimpled one at that. He glances to V'der, attentive gaze despite the fact that that imbibed alcohol is starting to effect the heeler. "Anything, eh?" He looks rather thoughtful for a moment, "I think it would be hard to top V'der, but I think I'd..." He looks almost bashful for a moment before speaking, "I'd petition a lord holder for a bit of beach-side land as a retreat. Make up a hold in some hidden cove and have you all fly me down there regularly -of course, I'd pay for all the transport buy buying your wing's new jackets. You again, Tevya..."

You lean over and take the top card.

The card says: What would be your ideal friend be like? Or, if you rather, your ideal mate?

Half-eaten wher-strip is brought back down as Tevya grins, "Sounds like a smart thing to do," And here she was giving all of her money away..  Her question has her turning slightly pink as the rest of her wher-strip is finished off, thusly providing her time enough to think her answer through.  "I'd have to say that..my ideal mate would be someone who is nice, funny and responsible.  They'd know how to have fun and not worry too  much about getting into trouble." Best she answer that while avoiding eye contact with anyone in particular.. "V'der!"  Invoking the Riders name, Tevya quickly turns the tables away from herself and gestures towards him, "Your turn."

Tevya leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card reads: Where is your ideal place to live and why?

V'der hardly restrains a snigger, glancing from between Tevya to Moe to Lhana. Oooh, twisted love-triangle. It's a probability. "My ideal place to live? Uhmn. Here. Why? Because it's my home." He's local. Born, bred, and raised High Reaches. It explains a whole lot, don't it? "I can't imagine living anywhere else." Staunch nod. "You're getting another one, Tevya," he chuckles, reaching over to claim another top card.

V'der leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card reads:  What is your most favorite thing to do?

V'der is given a light scowl, for Tevya isn't so dense as not to notice the Riders reaction.  Though she probably deserved it for forgetting him in the first place, so the scowl is turned into a light grin, "Thanks V'der," Tevya comments, "And I'd have to say that my most favorite thing to do is to spend time with Kihealth," A given, really, "And my friends."  Perfect answer that fits her to a 'T', and then it's onto Mosiah, "Moe, you're turn.."

Tevya leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card says: Do you have any siblings? If you do, do you get along with them?

Tevya leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card reads: If you could do only one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Mosiah leans back a little where he sits, reaching one hand over to tug his braid of hair around to his back once more. Wrist turns, causing the mug he holds to move also and the liquid within to lap perilously close to the edge. Not a peep is made as Tevya makes her answers. Oh no, he is most studiously listening in to every word said. He quirks a wry grin to V'der at his answer, "Perfect answer there..." And then he looks to Tevya just as she poses him the next question. "Since I stepped foot on Ista nearly eight turns ago, I had only one thing that I wished to be, and that was a healer. And I plan on doing that for the rest of my life. Granted, there were a couple of times where I managed to get sidetracked... namely by the dragons of 'Reaches, but by and all, healing is what I want to do with my life." Something of a negligent shrug before he addresses V'der, "Back to you, my friend."

V'der scratches at his hairline, sandy hair falling haphazardly over his forehead as he ponders. "Probably in the galleries," he states. "Y'know. The whole warmth thing." He's abstract in his answers, yes. "Moe, it's all you, man." Wry grin spreads as he snabbles another card.

V'der leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card reads: Do you prefer sunrises or sunsets?

"Sunrises... I've seen plenty of them. More than a seacrafter, I could swear. Long nights in the infirmary lead to very early mornings where you look out and watch a new day start across the land, and know that life goes on." Oh yes, the alcohol is beginning to loosen dear Moe's tongue. It never did take much, despite the healer's size. "Sunsets have their own a appeal, but I'd rather seeing a beginning than an ending, but I suppose that depends on your point of view. On to you, Lhana..."

You lean over and take the top card.

The card states: What kind of pain do you fear the most?

Lhana has been quietly sipping her wine this whole time, yes she has.  Periodically tuning out the things she doesn't want to hear and scowling at the predictable moments and refilling her mug again.  You know, generally being a Lhana.  As the questions /finally/ work their way back to her, she ponders, sloshing the wine around thoughtfully.  "The kind of pain you get when a whoooole -flock- of crawlies descend out of their terrible homes and attack you alll at once."  Yes, Lhana has certainly had her fair share of wine by now.  And it's starting to show.  "You," she says, jabbing a finger Tev-wards.

Lhana leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card reads: How deeply do you think it is possible to know someone?

It takes a moment for Tevya to respond, for Mosiah's answer has her watching him carefully, only to be stunned at Lhana's answer and a disturbed glance is sent towards her.  "What?"  Never mind the fact that crawlies always cause Tevya to inwardly flinch and cring..but that answer was just completely unexpected.  A dried wherry-strip is grabbed from the pack laying infront of her, pulled and broke into two halves as she contemplates her answer, "Well, I think you can get to know someone rather well.  But only as much as they'd want you to know.  So.. it depends on the person." And that is her answer, "Moe.. your turn."

Tevya leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card reads: How deeply do you think it is possible to know someone?

Mosiah winces at the mention of crawlies. Only, change that into furry creatures and you will have him doing the twitches for aeons. A residual twitch as he drinks the last of the wine in his glass and is reaching for the skin filled with the sparkling kind. As he pours, he answers, "Well, I think I might be at a bit of a disadvantage here, compared to the rest of you. You all have got lifemates that you know better than you know yourselves, so you might have something to fall back on in comparison." And he prattles on, setting the skin to the side, "Having never really known anyone all that well on a personal level, I'm not really sure. Like the deck we've got now, it can tell you much about yourself and about others. Shells, I had no idea that Tevya had a sister or that V'der liked sunsets." Not like he ever would have asked V'der that in any other environment. Did Moe even answer the question posed to him, or just sorta ramble, "Again to you, V'der."

You lean over and take the top card.

The card says: What would be your ideal friend be like? Or, if you rather, your ideal mate?

V'der allows his lips curl into an almost feral grin. "My ideal friend is Darth." Enough said. "And my ideal mate... well, I have no clue," he states, a vaguely reflective state settling over the browner. "Lhana. It's to you," he states, unsettledment clear as he makes to draw the next card.

V'der leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card reads: How deeply do you think it is possible to know someone?

Lhana gives V'der quite the disturbed look.  He's disturbing.  The question is then blinked at, and Lhana sinks back against a stray cushion she seems to have grabbed hold of at some point or other.  "Well, now..."  A sip of wine to get the ol' brain working.  "Aside from having them in your head all the time, like a dragon, which isn't possible with a person, which is what I assume we're talking about, I don't know if someone can know what you can know as well as you can know what you know about what you know.  You know?"  ...Yes.  Lhana /may/ have had a bit too much to drink.  "Moe.  Go."  She giggles.  "That rhymes!"

Lhana leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The card reads:  What is your most favorite thing to do?

Mosiah chuckles softly before he takes another long drink from his mug. He glances askance to Tevya at her food before answering the question posed to him, "Favorite thing? Ohhhh, where do I start? I've got so many fun things to do. Hanging out with my friends, tying of a vessel with one of my blind one-handed stitches and knowing the patient will live for it... but, I suppose, right now, I'd have to say that playing in the mud is definitely on the top of that list." *hic* As he reaches for the next card, he makes as if to nudge Tevya teasingly, "Your turn."

You lean over and take the top card.

The card reads: Do you prefer sunrises or sunsets?

Mosiah's response earns a slight nod from Tevya as she continues munching on her dried wherry-strips.  They were really quite good.  She can't help but grin at the mud statement, bitting on her lower lip to keep from saying anything else.  The grin however, just doesn't disappear, even as she answers the question posed to her. "Oh.. Sunrises or sunsets.."  The two are weighed out before Tevya comments, "Sunsets, really.  They're so much prettier because the sky turns all different shades of color, and you can really see them, you know?"  A question posed to the group as a whole.  "V'der.. your turn."

Tevya leans over and takes a card from the deck then reads it thoughtfully.

The question is: What is your deepest fear?

Lhana can feel her eyes drooping, and she finds herself quite oblivious to anything anyone says.  Or does.  Finally, she utters some incomprehensible, drunken ramble, and then drifts off to sleep.  And snores.  Loudly.  Mwahahaha.

V'der pauses, and stares, downwards, eyes unfocusing. "My deepest fear? Getting nailed like Ike got! I've got watchduty. Better hop to it." He rolls his shoulders lightly. "I'll leave.. ahh.. you two alone," he states, blinking at Tevya and Moe, before scurrying out.

Mosiah chuckles as he looks after V'der, as the rider goes scampering out of the weyr... and Lhana seems to have scurried off to do something or another. And who knows where Fyria got herself off to? He flicker a glance back over to Tevya, smiling softly, "Is it just me, or am I getting a couple of awfully funny looks tonight? I don't have like purple spots all over my face or anything, do I?" And he lifts a hand up as if to feel his forehead.

"Well that's interesting," Tevya comments as V'der and Lhana both disappear, "You?  Purple?"  Repetition of Mosiah's words has Tevya shaking her head, "No..nothing at all on your face.  It was just some of the questions is all."  Slight smile is offered, "You weren't getting nervous I hope?"

Mosiah bobs his head in understanding, dark braid of hair falling right back over his shoulder to drape down his chest. "Ahhhh. I swear they were trying to..." He trails off with a bit of a shrug, sipping at the drink, "Nervous? Should I have been?" A slow smile begins to take possession of his lips, "Sure, some of those questions were a little deep, considering the company." He takes a moment to flicker a glance after where Lhana went, checking to see if she is gone, before he is edging over to Tevya, "Were you?"

"Was I nervous?" Tevya asks, following Mosiah's glance, "I..well sort of, but.." Shoulders lift in a shrug before she asks, "Should I have been? I mean.." Leaving the sentence unfinished, Tevya turns to better face Mosiah as he edges closer, "Should I have been nervous for some reason?"  Fingers unwind from their weave as she reaches out for the pack of dried Wherry-strips, holding it out to Moe, "Help yourself if you want any."

"No," Moe murmurs in answer to the nervous question, lips drawing into something of a dismayed line. "No reason at all." He draws back once more to sit upon his rump, musing over the mug of sparkling wine. At the offering for strips, he bobs his head and reaches for one. "I need something to sop up all this wine, or I'll never get down off this ledge without killing myself." He flickers her another glance before sighing softly.

"You can always stay over at my Weyr, Franth knows Kihaelth won't mind," Tevya comments, "I've extra bedding and you can sleep infront of the hearth if you want.."  This commented before she withdraws the pack closer to herself before pulling out her own strand, "What's wrong?" This after the sigh, and a concerned glance is given, "You seem like somethings bothering you.." The pack is now set down beside her as the strip of wherry is held in hand, "Are you feeling ok?"

Mosiah's eyes open as wide as marks at the offer, before he is frowning even more than before. "As much as the offer is pleasing, I think... Tevya... that I can't believe I'm saying this, but it might be best that I didn't take you up on that." In other words, he doesn't trust himself, especially as tipsy as he is at the moment, especially to make unwanted voyages further into into her area of the weyr. But getting to his place is still going to be quite the chore, seeing as everyone else made themselves scarce. "Bothering me?..." Not known to blush, ever... there might be a touch of pink to his cheeks. But he flickers her something of a wolfish smile in the next breath, "Feeling very well, actually."

"Well if you fall and break something, I'm going to feel awful.  I'd rather you bunk where you'll be safe then stuck in the Infirmary with a cast on your entire body." Tevya comments, "Though Kihaelth and I are going to drop you off at the Infirmary when you're ready to go."  Straight-forward replied, Tevya's taking no chances on that.  Wherry-strip is bit into, as she studies Moe for a moment, noting the pink color appearing in his cheeks since it's happened to her quite often.. "You sure about that? I mean..I'm willing to listen if you need to talk to someone?  You just seem..rather distracted."  Not that she was purposefully trying to push, or even really wanting to.  Concern was the motivation behind her asking.

Mosiah flickers one last glace to Tevya, thoughtful, murmuring low. But in his currently partially-inebriated state, that murmur might be louder than intended, "Distraction is easy around you." He flashes her a soft smile before planting hands and doing his level best to lever himself to his feet. Considering how tall he is, this is quite the effort to do so. "Uh... yeah, sure. Just drop me off down in the bowl if that is fine? I don't mean to put you our or anything, but I suppose it pays to know a few happy-to-help riders."

Tevya pauses, before nodding her head and finishing off her wherry-strip.  "I'll drop you off right outside the entrance. It won't do for you to get hurt."  Not that she was second-guessing his abilities in being able to walk while drunk or anything. As she stands, she offers a nod to his words while filing them away for later thought.  "Here.." Soft smile is returned as she offers an extended arm outwards, meaning to help him to his feet, "Kihaelth is just outside, and he wants to say Hi."

"Nice dragon, that Kihaelth. Impressive wingspan. Wonderful personality," Moe jabbers, reaching and hand over to rest on her shoulder as he is guided out. "Hurt? Me? Never once in my life have I ever gotten hurt -and I don't count stubbed toes or bumped heads going through entrances. Or that one time I was bitten by a tunnesnake. Or...." And he rambles on and on and on. And you thought he talked quite a bit of nonsense when he is 'normal'.
