Logfile from Sebastian.

                                Penthouse 2

--------------------------------===========--------------------------------

It is a penthouse, a swanky penthouse at that. Plenty of windows, wood flooring, elegant lines and a modern look. You've got your sunken living area, long and dark dining table close to the windows that overlook a balcony decorated with topiary and such. Off to some side is the way towards the bedroom, double-doors left open just enough to get a hint of a large bed and more expensive furniture. All in all, it looks like a place that could use a far better description.

Exit: Hallway (to Penthouse Level)

Reese enters with a skip in her step, whistling brightly and knocking on the door to rhythm. The possibility that Sebastian isn't home strikes her, but she can always break in or something. Antsy, she shifts from one leg to the next, not looking at all conspicuous. No, really.

Sebastian is home. When one has ways to bypass the traffic in the streets in that convenient onisenshi way of his, it gives him all kinds of extra time to... well, sit at home? Or something. Anyway, the door opens and he ushers her within, "Reese."

The door opens! Brightly, Reese throws herself at Sebastian, to a certain extent trumping any moving he planned on doing anytime soon. "Seb," she crows, releasing herself with a peck on the cheek and entering the apartment, a whirlwind of perky activity. "I've got news. We have to clean up-..." Oh wait, it's Lexie. "Nevermind. But Lexie's coming up here in around half an hour, and we're going to have a meeting." Not telling about the miko's new quarters? -- Well, we'll build up to the bad news.

Sebastian is glomped, or something along those lines. He simply blinks down at Reese before allowing a slow smile to reach his lips. "Delightful to see you, dear. You seem to be in quite the enchanting mood." This has promise. He ushers her further in, "A meeting? What about?"

"About robbery and a new place to live and /plans/," Reese stresses, for all things sounding like Anana. "Lexie will tell all. I made a few calls on the way here. We're finally going to do something," she sighs, relief and anticipation on her features. She decides to take a breath somewhere around there, eyeing Sebastian. "It's very exciting."

Sebastian is eyed, and eyes Reese in return. "Really?" he drawls slowly, lips turning into another wry line. "And here I was getting so terribly bored watching the rest of you play around. This will be interesting."

Lexie pushes open the door with her hip, lugging a guitar case and a loaded-up dufflebag that makes heavy clanking sounds as she moves.  Dangling from her mouth is a lit cigarette, which she taps some of the ash off of into the hallway, peering at the penthouse with a disgusted expression. She doesn't like it any more than Sebastian likes her place, that's for sure. "Yo. Am I interrupting anything?"

Reese has advanced information. It's good to be the miko's little suc-... secretary, on occasion. "Mm-hmm. Though we're going to have to be communicating with Dylan, probably. And everyone's going to be gathering. And we're going to blow things up!" Aww, she's as giddy as a schoolgirl when talking about wholesale demolition. The door opens, the girl smiles. "Lexie!" She's not 22. She's 10.

Sebastian flickers a glance askance at the entering Lexie, temporarily tempted with pushing her right out that door. "Smoke in the hall or out on the terrace." How is that for a welcome? He moves over to offer to take her bags, "Delightful that you can make it. So, how long will you be here?"

Lexie shoves the guitar at Sebastian, then hands over the duffle-- Which is by the way, MUCH heavier than it looks, as it's filled with tools, guns, ammunition, and other 'neccesities'.  "You want me standing out in the hall right next door to a bunch of Suzaku puffing on a cigarette? Well, okay." She stomps the smoke out on the carpet of the hallway outside the door.  "Don't pretend to be delighted; I sure don't like the idea of living in this stuffed pillow that passes for a home.  But I need you guys close. We're going to move our asses into gear and you can't protect me if you avoid where I live."

"I told you," Reese whispers to Sebastian, wincing at their miko. "There's been news. We have to concentrate on Lexie now, else Homasubi's going to wreak a little havoc and get mad at us." And if anything, no one wants a gigantic piggie of destruction on their tail.

Sebastian coughs as he is shoved at, barely managing to take the things. A grunt at the duffle and he is left to toddle towards one of the spare bedrooms. Seeing as Seb doesn't often toddle, this would be a rare sight. He returns though, dusting off his hands. "Well, seeing as you've been in their place before... correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think that you taunting them with your presence as you destroy your lungs shouldn't be that difficult."

Lexie shrugs, shutting the door behind her.  "Maybe if we were going on as we're doing right now, but we're not. " She states, dryly, tossing her coat on the floor by the door.  "We may as well start with you, while you're hovering about.  I need a rundown of your resources, contacts, and how your powers can aid us at the Met. I assume you'll want to be on Reese's team?"

Reese balances on the edge of the couch, watching Lexie and Sebastian banter quietly. "We're going to need strength and an easy way to move a large amount of objects. Unless we need to slaughter a few guards, I don't see why Seb should be in the scroll area," she adds mildly.

Sebastian eyes Lexie, "Why can't I have a team? Why do I have to be on Reese's team?" He shoots a glance over to her, "No offence or anything." Yes, followed by a teasing wink. Wait... now he is going to pout. "Don't need to be in the scroll area?" he practically echoes. He continues on though, moving to take up Lexie's discarded coat and hang it in the closet.

Lexie heads towards the kitchen. "Got any beer? Well, I'm going to be on the scroll team.  We'll need an easy method of emergency transportation on both teams, so since I think malachai can draw doors, one team will have you and one team will want him.  You'd comve in useful for transporting artifacts back and forth, among other things. I'd like you to 'mark' out a few different locations in the meuseum, for that matter, as you can easily act as a method of communication between us. What else can you do?"

"Because I'm a miko's pet, and you don't like her?" Reese answers, looking very much the cheeky seishi that she is. "You might have to take control of the team, though - it sounds as if I might be concentrating on the cameras. A decent walking body will be difficult."

"I can let you meet your Suzaku friends through a new doorway if you wish? Right through my wall, but I doubt the landlord would appreciate my redecorating. And maybe, I could take a few of them out at the same time. I should try that some evening." Seb glances back around to where Lexie is headed, "Possibly. I don't know what they stock it with. If not, check the bar if you've a taste for some of the harder liquors." He moves around to stand behind the couch that Reese is perched upon, hands coming down as if to rub her shoulders, "Now, I never said I didn't like her." Well, not in so many words.

Lexie diverts to the bar, rummaging around. "No, you just wanted a new miko. But that's allright, I said more or less the same.  Don't worry about that, at any rate.  That's what C4 is for. When we're ready to move out of this place, we should be able to have planted enough explosives in it to make this seishi haven go sky high.  Hide 'em good, phone in a threat from some extremist, and boom."

Wait. Did she just say what he thought she said. Seb hesitates, blinking back to Lexie, "You do realize that I set down a couple million to lease this place for the next year, right?" Dammit. He just got it. A dramatic sigh follows, "I teleport and I toss pretty orange balls of chi around. That's the extent of my powers, besides my business savvy, charismatic smile, and dashing good looks."

Lexie pours herself a glass of burbon. "Sounds like you got ripped off, then. " She comments, dryly. "Look, Seb. I had to give up my family business, and while it might not look like much to /you/, it was the most important thing I had, next to the Yin gods. So I think you need to ask yourself what really matters to you.. Because there's not room for your reputation, your 401k, your Roth-IRA, /and/ your god.  Besides, if it looks like we were hurt by it too, less likely that they'll pin it on us." She holds up a hand, placatingly. "Of course, if they all mass somewhere else, we can always blow that place up instead.  But it's not just the act that's important. It's the fact that you are /not/ going to survive this a model citizen.  You may as well give the idea up."

Sebastian eyes Lexie for a long moment, grin hitching at the corner, "Dearest Lexie, I am, by no means, a model citizen. But nor am I going to purposely slum whereas I can, instead, show myself to be at least somewhat presentable. If every single one of us comes off as the hot-headed, imbalance, rogue onisenshi that some of the others have brought onto themselves, what have we then? Nothing."

Lexie shrugs. "Well, it won't help you much.  They're going to start hitting at us any way they can, Sebastian.  If you're attached to things they can hurt, it'll only get you in the end.  Anyways, I need you to get us a dummy organization for nonprofit medical research set up in the books as soon as possible. We'll need it when we get our base of operations set up so we don't get too many questions."

Sebastian flatly refuses to get drug down so easily. He levels her a wry glance before nodding, "Medical?" He can safely say he hasn't gone that route before. "Pharmaceutical? Cloning? Something along those lines? Research into the effects of smoking? That shouldn't be much of a problem."

Lexie grins dryly at her seishi. "We need a dummy name for it.  Cancer research or something?"  She shrugs, thoughtfully.  "Better Living Through Piety."  She downs the rest of the glass, snickering at the thought.  "Nobody questions church-funded stuff these days.  You could have a methodist missile silo and it'd be patriotic."

Sebastian looks after Lexie, chuckling softly, "That should not be a problem at all, lady. I'll just need a couple of weeks to make sure all the paperwork and preparations are made for you." He moves around to drop onto a seat, "Anything else?"

"The Holy Nuns of the Saint Angelina Holy Ministries Center for Narcotics Research," Reese offers. Sounds good, right? ... Right?

Lexie nods, pouring herself another cup. "We need a doss. A warehouse or something for our less than legal activities. Something we don't use very often 'cept in emergency  hideout situations and such.  This way we don't end up 'kidnapping' seishi in to our safe haven.  And I don't think Dylan can be controled into not doing something like that. All the more reason we need to twist his arm into joining in with us in this. He's too much of a loose canon."

Lexie asks, "Who was Saint Agelina? Too Catholic, they'd ferret us out."

"Ah, a bat cave." To the Bat Cave! Or something. Seb nods to Lexie, "There are plenty of places around this city that would be ideal for that sort of thing. It is just a matter of finding the right location, and a neighborhood that doesn't ask any questions." At mention of Dylan, he quirks a brow, "Do you think that I could shoot him this time?" Yes, there is a certain glee to his voice at the possibility.

Reese shrugs her shoulders nonchalantly. "I don't know. How about just the nuns, then? Semantics aren't a problem." Eyes are rolled upwards at the mention of Dylan, a sigh released from her lungs at the mention of his name. "True. We need his cooperation, though, and we should at least try to comfort his little tendencies by giving him a place to run to, rather than just shoot him up and say 'bad oniseishi'."

Lexie sips at her drink. "His current perrogatives don't go against orders at the moment."  She looks up. "But if he messes up again, I will expect you to kill him. Failure by misbehavior is unnacceptable."

Sebastian is fairly sure he mentioned killing before, but doesn't bring it up right now. Nope. "And will he be joining us any time soon? I need to know if I should fill the bathtub for the boy or not? And leave a towel out."

"So what, then we wait for Sakamaku to reincarnate again? Personally, I would rather suffer a little insubordination than be hobbled like that." Reese is rather adamant on the point, but sighs her concession, should anyone pursue it further. "We won't fail. Even if I have to move his limbs for him, we won't fail."

Lexie nods, leaning back against the bar. "If he knows what's good for him, he will. Between you two and I, however.. If it isn't working out and we're too outnumbered, wi'll find a way to shift blame to him and leave his body as a present for the seishi. If we need space, we can use that to go back to biding our time. If our numbers grow, however, we won't need to do that. Just think up a good name when you register us, Sebastian, and take care of it."

Sebastian can't fault Lexie's reasoning there. He nods his head to her in agreement before continuing, "Certainly. Shouldn't be a problem at all. But let me know what rooms you want me to look at in the museum when you can. And what exactly will everyone be doing for that little game?"

"Sounds good," Reese says, looking definitely happier with an escape route. "I don't know," she answers Seb. "I was only thinking about my removal part. We might hit a jackpot and get some seishi's special tools. At least, that's what I was thinking."

Lexie flops down on the couch, taking the bottle with her.  "The ancient china exhibit.. Anything that looks like an artifact they can use, all the scrolls we can get our hands on.. And then I'll expect you to blow up the rest of the exhibit on our way out.  So I think it's best if you go with the artifact-hunting team. We'll need to case it in advance, but not close enough to look suspicious. Minai and Malachai'll be with me, most likely.. If Dylan comes, you guys will need to keep him under control on your team. Morwen probably won't go."

Sebastian perks. Blowing things up? Oooooooh. This he likes. Get him good and pissed, and he'll destroy the whole building. Fuuuuun. He straightens just the slightest, definitely looking like he enjoys the sound of this, "Sounds like a fairly good plan, but keeping control of Dylan in there will only be possible if there isn't a pretty little seishi around to divert his attentions."

"Should I get me a different colored tattoo to divert him just in case?" Reese quips, snickering a little. "As for what you asked me before... I'd definitely have to work a little harder if you wanted me to make a corpse walk around. It's a bit tough to coordinate all of the cells. If we want to distract the camera, we'd be better off finding a hacker for hire."

Lexie sighs, rubbing her cheek. "Or we can wear masks and just have Malachai alter us up a bit. I don't think 'hackers for hire' are easy to find here.  We'd really have to fry the place if we wanted to cover up after ourselves. And the alarm systems mean we'd have to get in and then get out quick. "

Sebastian flickers a wry grin to Reese, chuckling at her suggestion. "Corpse animation, eh? Sounds like a delightful pastime. I'm assuming that is supposed to be the distraction or some such?" But then he is looking back to Lexie, quirking a brow, "Masks? And formfitting black catsuits? Be still my heart." Ohhh, the sarcasm. "If he could alter us to look like seishi though...? Would he have that capability?"

Reese sighs, standing and brushing herself off. "Well, I think I might head down and get some snacks or something before the masses arrive. And I am all for form-fitting black catsuits," she adds, beaming. She hitches her bag up, and smiles at both. "I'll be back later. See y'all?"

Lexie rubs at her chin. "Like seishi.. Like seishi. Yeah, I like that idea.  Ayways, we'll figure it out."  She goes quiet, swirling the drink in her glass.

Sebastian ,naturally, will look like Hotohori. *hair fluff* He glances after Reese as she heads out, nodding to her. But, eventually, his gaze drifts back over to Lexie, "Although, I don't exactly know what Malachai is capable of, or if even that would work on surveillance cameras. But if there would be a way to shift heat onto the seishi, that would possibly be a good time to do so."

Lexie nods agreeably. "If nothing else, we just need to look like.. Well, not ourselves.  Even a few alterations could save our asses if we get caught on tape."  Won't it be funny when Hotohori shows up, then?  "This could work. It'll have to, if we're going to summon."

Hotohori would probably admire his twin and then they would strike up a conversation on hair treatments. Or get into a fight. I'm prettier. No, I'm prettier. Seb nods to Lexie, "Certainly." But he is getting up, "I'll go see about making some beginnings into that research group. I trust you can amuse yourself while I'm gone?" By putting burn holes in the couch. Raiding the bar. Ringing up a huge bill on the Pay-per-View. Shooting pigeons off the terrace. Flashing the seishi next door. So many things.
