Logfile from Sk'lar.

 Gaming Room

A bright mural depicting a flight of dragons over the weyr covers the whole wall. A large area has been made for those who enjoy a good dart game, while there is tables for those who prefer dice or board games. There is a small drink tray, that drudges keep filled. There is a small plaque listing Weyr's dart winners dating back several generations. Among winners have been some of the Weyr's most famous riders as well as many crafters posted here and many residents.

Resting unwisely near the dartboard, you see Confundo, DelHunt, and Sparks.

You see Weyr's Dartboard here.

Cylara, Ri, Dany, Kaili, and Q'lan are here.

From here you can go:

Main Hallway              Living Cavern

Sk'lar has arrived.

Ri yawns as Cylara heads out. "Thank you." And she snags yet another mug of klah. "Dany, how are you feeling in general? You should be actually starting to feel good about now."

Re'a has arrived.

Dany scowls at everyone, except Q'lan, Q'lan is special you see.  Anywho.  "Delightful.  Honestly."  She mutters sitting down finally and wiggling her fingers at Q'lan.  "I should be huh?  Well I'll let you know on that."  Scarily enough Dany was an only child, so this is all just a bit outside her experiance really.

Re'a steps within the room, blue and green eyes darting about the busy place as if she's searching for someone, or something. Spying a certain bronzer, she begins to make her way through the card tables and around other riders until she comes upon Sk'lar, smiling and nodding her head to a few who recognize her, gasping in surprise to see her return to the weyr. "Yes, I know... I shouldn't be here... sheesh, don't ya'll have anything /new/ to tell a girl?"

Sk'lar has hoping to sort of sneak into the room and well, you know... just be there unannounced. And so, there he is, leaning against the wall if what could possibly be a rather frothy mug of ale in his hand, scanning for some fresh meat to play a good game of dice yet when... lo and behold, who should enter into his sight. Blink... blinkblink. "Re'a. Fancy seeing you here."

Cylara is quick -- but not that quick -- to go and dispose of her cleaning supplies and return with a plateful of dinner. And a helper. The slightly shy Xaeryn wanders in after her, snatching up the trash bin and wandering back out with it, Cylara smiling her thanks as she settles into one of the empty chairs that dot the room. Q'lan receives another smile, and a faint salute, whilst Re'a and Sk'lar receive slightly sharper salutes. Hey, you can't expect someone saluting while holding a mug of klah to be perfect, can you?

Kaili offers salutes to those who are entering as she stands, "Since I'm done with m'chores, and I'll be getting up rather early for a while, I'm going to head to sleep."  A nod and towards the door she slips.

Ri lifts eyes first to Sk' and then Re'a. Suddenly she does not want to be in any obvious position, so she gloms onto Q'lan.. "ohh, what a pretty little green, is she new?' Babble? Ri? Oh most certainly, when a good friend is about to be reamed by a weyrleader.

Re'a gives Sk'lar a sweetly innocent smile as she leans against the table before him, a glass of wine snatched from a passing drudge to twirl absently in her hand. "Why, isn't it? But, I do have a bit of good news to pass along to you, in private later, if you're not too busy." Her gaze catches the lean form of a visiting brownrider, interest showing as she follows his swaying hips to the table where he joins a game of cards. If anyone knew better, they'd almost swear she's showing signs of her lifemate being proddy.

Dany blurts.  "I'm pregant"  See thats new and exciting...not.  "You've been gone a while."  She notes in the exact same tone of voice.  Oh yes folks she'll be less grumpy later.  Maybe.  "And yeah we have eggs on the sand."  Just in case R'ea is blind and deaf.

Kaili goes home.

Sparks disappears into the hallway.

Sk'lar looks after Re'a and all of the hip-wiggling. Hip-wiggling. "Re'a-dear? You can feel free to whisper any sweet nothings you need to tell me in my ear whenever you wish." Salutes and whatnot are noted in some vague area of his mind, vague. But, he is following after the greenrider, "Annie know you are here?" Pregnant? Wait... He shoots a look at Dany and then murmurs, "There goes another wingrider..." He has priorities after all.

Q'lan smiles at Ri, and coaxes the little firelizard down to his forearm once more.  "She is rather young yet, being only about four or five sevendays old now," he says, his eyes sparkling.  "Listen, I do hope I'm not interrupting... pregnant?"  The strange look on his face and the way the sparkle fades slightly as he startles at Dany's news leaves the impression that this catches /him/ off guard as well.

Re'a smiles as she turns back to Sk'lar, giving him one of those feline-got-the-bird grins, "Is that so? Tarlin won't mind?" Sure, she's been gone a while, but certainly news of the two of them breaking up would have reached her somehow! Still, she can't help but flirt with the bronzer, "Annie? Nah.. slipped right on in beneath her nose as usual." She had heard the goldrider had delivered a baby, so she figured the new mother would be worn out from those late nights and all to worry about one greenrider.

Cylara watches Kaili leave, a sigh falling from her lips, for now it is one Candidate against...five riders. Eek. Still, she continues to nonchalantly consume her dinner, emerald gaze flickering to and fro as she follows the conversation weaving about the game room. "It's a wonder there aren't darts flying," she murmurs under her breath, hiding the words behind a mug of hot klah. And then comes her fair, all chittering. "No, I will not feed you. You have claws and teeth. Go catch your own dinner." And with that -- and an adamant wave -- the fair of four vanishes as quickly as they came.

Dany snickers at Q'lan.  "Don't worry silly, it's not yours, but it is a long story."  She waves her hand airily, the thought that that might be what is bothering him.  Re'a gets a glance and a roll of her dark eyes.  Yup, thank Faranth for gossipy life-mates.  "Annie had a baby?"  Okay perhaps he doesn't tell her everything.

Ri shakes her head at Re'a and hopes against hope that she doesn't really push her luck. But what? Q'lan and Dany? A possibility? Ohhh.. This could be fun. While studying the baby green, she waits, ready to catch any tidbits that fall. "She's a dorable, Q'l, what's her name?" As if she will remember.

Sk'lar smiles that lupine smile of his right on back to Re'a, "Hrm? Why should she mind, teacher-mine?" And it is at those words that he is abruptly blinking, "Oh, yeah, I completely forgot about that. Hey, Ri? You are pretty good with kids, right? You are my new WeyrlingMaster." Yes, he just sort of tossed that one out there. Assuming that it is heard, assuming quite a bit actually. He goes back to drinking his ale.

Q'lan swallows somewhat convulsively, and ducks his head away from Dany's gaze, though not in relief.  If anything, the usually impishly handsome dark eyes are saddened instead.  Recovering himself, though not looking at the bluelet across the room, he manages to smile back at Ri.  "Her name is Madonna - because I /adore/ her," he replies, then sends a smoky glance Dany-wards, before blinking at Sk'lar's comment to Ri.

Ri stutters.. Initial response to Q'lan all awash as she catches Sk's words.. "But.. what about my wing? What about Skyskimmers? I mean.. I can't just...." Voice tapers away and the demi-rider stares at Re'a to get her reaction. Oh please, don't hate her.

Dany blinks at Sk'lar then at Ri, before her puzzled glance returns to Q'lan.  It's all to much for her little pea-brain.  "I wish I was Weyr-Leader, so I could change everyones life just like that."  Of course thats never gonna happen, no matter how much Tenraith enthuses about possibly one day trying for gold.  "Congratulations Ri.  Hey Yeah who is gonna be my Wingleader now?"  Flutter, yup everything is all about her no?

Cylara is just happily and quietly sitting there. And then she just happens to hear Sk'lar. Nearly choking on her mouthful of stew she sputters and tries to regain her composure. Cough. Hack. Sputter. Breathe. Inhale! The Starsmith Candidate manages to /eventually/ regain her composure as she recalls what breathing is like. Yes, breathing is good. Inhale. Exhale. Repeat. No one saw her little convulsion, right?

Tarlin has arrived.

Re'a blinks at Sk'lar's comment to Ri, then turns, holding her wineglass up to the other greenrider, "Congrats Ri, and may you long enjoy the position." Well, if Ri's the new WLM, then Annie doesn't have anything to hold over her head, right? That means she should be able to return to Telgar... at least she's hoping. "Oh yeah, if you'll catch me later, I'll give you my set of keys to the desk in the office.. you'll need them, Ri." Grinning, she turns back to the bronzer. Now, where were they again? Oh yeah... Leaning forward, she brushes her lips against his in a kiss...

Q'lan can't help but smile at Sk'lar's words, dark eyes recovering their spark once more.  "May I offer my congratulations, Ri?"  he says first, bowing to the new Weyrlingmaster.  Then adds at Dany's words:  "Right, right, who /is/ going to be the new Wingleader?" he says, furrowing his brow in an uncharacteristically serious way as he steadies the little firelizard on his arm.

T'paz has arrived.

T'paz enters the Telgar Gaming room, mug of ale in one hand, and a large tray of Istan style candy, when he spots the crowd here already.  "Ack!  Boy, did I choose an interesting time to visit.  Igen's duties to Telgar."  He recognizes a whole mess of people, and grins.  "Anyone for a piece of sugary evilness from the depths of my Istan past?"  He holds up the wide tray of delectable sweets and offers it about.

Tarlin steps into the room at the most inopportune moment (as she promised she would): just in time to catch brush Sk'lar's lips with a kiss.  Her brows lift as she approaches her weyrmate, rolling her apron into a ball.  "Proddy, are we?" she greets Re'a drily, then grins, noting the atmosphere of heightened excitement.  "What's going on in here?"

Sk'lar flickers a glance after Ri, making sure that she did, indeed, hear it. He blinks after her for a moment, "You do have quite a bit of work to do. I saw those barracks and..." There is Re'a before him, and kissing him, and.... Well.... Does he smooch back? But there is definitely a hand moving around to fist in her shirt, chuckling softly, "Re'a? There something I can do for you?"

Is someone offering sugar to the pregnant woman?  Welll they are now.  "Oooh Candy, May I?"  Dany asks as she takes a few pieces of candy.  Just wait, she'll be back to take the whole tray in a moment.  In a somewhat less than subtle manuveour she makes her way to Q'lans other side rather than her former seat.  "You think he'll promote Tss'a next?"  She hisses before offering him some of her hard pilfered candy.

Re'a gives Sk'lar a warm smile as she pulls away, "Perhaps you might... just depends on if you've got the guts.." And then Tarlin appears at the bronzer's side. "Oh, hello Tarlin." Her gaze returns to Sk'lar, "Or are you still tangled in apron strings?" She motions to the cook's balled up apron before lifting her hand to take a sip of ehr wine, laughing at Tarlin. "Maybe, but at least I have an excuse for my moodswings and actions unlike some of us."

Q'lan makes room for the bluerider as she maneuvers herself next to him.  "Well, they could do worse," he remarks in a conspiratory whisper.  "She /was/ the weyrling wingleader, if you recall."  The bronzerider catches the kiss and reprecussions, sucking in breath as Re'a makes her comments.  He nods his head in respectful greeting to the Igen Weyrleader as well, decling with a shake of his head to take a piece of the candy.

T'paz sets down his tray on a table near to Dany and moves over in the direction of one of the few empty seats about...which happens to be near Cylara.  "This seat taken, Candidate?" he says, with a warm grin.

Cylara offers a salute to the newly entered Igen Weyrleader, after all she doesn't need to know colors to recognize the importance of that woven knot adorning his shoulder. "Congratulations," she finally manages toward Ri whilst Re'a and Sk'lar gain a long glance, complete with raised eyebrows. "Hm," comes the comment as the brow hunkers down into a wrinkled look of though before she returns to her meal, half keeping an eye on Dany and Q'lan. A strange pair, but still... And then there's that dratted Weyrleader again. "No, sir," she replies, her smile a little wane but still there. "I don't believe it is."

Ri would greet T'paz, probably even have some of the candy before the preggo rider grabs it all, but the greenrider is still too busy being confused and concerned. "Sk'! Stop kissing Re'a, don't argue with Tarlin.."  A swift glare is directed to the baker, please don't start.."And tell me what to do with my wing."

Tarlin smiles warmly at the greenrider.  "Proddiness is no excuse for throwing pastries.  I hope you'll remember that, this time, Re'a."  She sighs, slipping her arm about Sk'lar's waist, letting the rest of the proddy woman's taunt slide to the wayside.  "Congratulations?" she regards the scolding Ri with startlement.  "Your wing?  Are you giving it up?"

Dany catches Q'lans intake of breath and her dark eyes follow towards the scene brewing between Sk'lar Re'a and Tarlin, she's not concerned none, its just an excuse for her to eat more candy you know.  "Yeah I know Tss'a was, I was Wing Second remember."  She continues her conversation with Q'lan.  It's the safer one to have don'tcha know.

Sk'lar clears his throat lightly at Re'a's words, chuckling deeper in his throat before reaching over to curl an arm around Tarlin's waist. "Tangled... and held fast." He casts a wink down to Tarlin before nodding to Re'a. And then he considers a little longer. Its been quite some time since he has rubbed Annie a little... raw. Its been far to quite around these parts. "Ri? Give me your WingLeader's knot." And then he is scolded at by the greenrider. Ohhhh, she will make a great weyrlingmaster. Wait a moment... did he see a glimmer of an Igen knot in all of the Telgari... "T'paz? That you over there moving in on my candidates?"

T'paz nods and sits on the empty seat.  He watches the buzz of activity surrounding his counterpart, with interest.  "Just sitting and sipping my ale, Sk'lar.  Yer candidate is safe.  Don't mind me.  I'm just a happy spectator here.  Yer busy.  Got a question for ya when yer done."  To prove it, he sips the hopsy Bitran ale in his mug.

Q'lan lets that intaken breath out slowly, deliberately, smiling down at Dany as he too realizes that the worst has been averted.  "I wonder if Ri'll keep the knot /and/ become Weyrlingmaster?" he murmurs to the bluerider quietly, his eyes keen on the situation.  "She's just about the only one I'd think /could/, y'know.  She'd find a way to do it."

Re'a hmmphs lightly as she turns away from the bronzer, her gaze scanning the room again for another vic..er...person. Catching a glimps of another bronzer knot, she ponders joining T'paz for a drink, but gets distracted by a passing bluerider who takes a moment to give her a wide grin and wink. Laughing lightly, she toasts him with her glass before taking a sip.

Cylara sighs a heavy sigh, shaking her head at the conversation that does indeed buzz about her ears. Dratted sensitive hearing just had to kick in. A wince issues across her features as she sets her mug of klah down to cover her ears and silently hope the sensitivity subsides quickly. "Ow..." she groans quietly under her breath, breathing in small, shallow breathes. "Why now?" she complains and hesitantly opens her eyes to see what is going on as she attempts to silence the world about her into a manageable decibel.

Ri slowly stands and as slowly reaches to her shoulder. But there, the hand hesitates. Skyskimmers.. /her/ wing. She battled to get there, she sweated to maintain them through the whole J'ak debacle. And now. "Who will wear it, Sk'?" She will know before she releases them.

Dany frowns, her licking her fingers for the last of the sugar-y goodness.  "Well I haven't really thought about that.  But yeah I think she could do it.  But look see Sk'lar just asked for her knot, so now we'll never know."  She's calmer now, how curious.

Kaili walks into Gaming Room.

Sk'lar checks another glance back over to T'paz, smiling, "Just a wee bit of business myself to finish up with, then I'll be free for a moment. Just make sure not to sweettalk Cylara too much. I'm kind of set on that one standing on my sands." As Ri offers him the knot, he takes it with a soft grin, "I never did wear this thing." And if he has anything to say about it, he never will -he likes his current knot far too much. He does answer Ri though, "Ohhhh, I've the perfect person. Skyskimmers will be in very excellent hands." Allbeit proddy ones? He leans over to give Tarlin a kiss to the crown of her head before slipping from her grasp to follow after Re'a. Yes, you saw that right. Re'a. Her shoulder is tapped.

Q'lan stretches his arms over his head, one settling on the back of Dany's chair as he watches the little tableaux unfold before them.  "Won't we, then?  I think I just saw Re'a tapped for the job," he says, a little sigh fluttering through his lips.  "What do you think of that, Dany?"  He's glad for Ri, happy for Re'a, and pleased that the bluelet's sitting next to him, and his dark eyes dance as merrily as ever.

Re'a turns to see Sk'lar, her smile broadening as she sees he's without Tarlin. "Ah, decided to have that conversation now? I'm sure we can find someplace quiet to talk... like my weyr?" For now, the bluerider is forgotten as she flirts lightly with the Weyrleader, head tilted as she waits for him to speak. "I assure you, it'll be nice and quiet, and I still have some nice skins of wine there you've not tried before.

Tarlin laughs, hugging the apron to her chest as she watches the Weyrleader home in on the greenrider.  She nods amicably to the visiting T'paz.  "Telgar's greetings to you, sir," she greets, then grins at Ri.  "Weyrlingmaster?  Moving up in the world, are we?"

Kaili returns, looking a little sleepy since well she managed to not get to sleep.  As she enters the room she blinks somewhat, "Wow, crowd."  Over towards Cylara she skitters, saluting the room as a whole instead of individual salutes, faster that way.  Nose wrinkles somewhat as she peers around though her gaze settles upon T'paz with a grin.

Cylara raises an eyebrow at Sk'lar, and looks toward T'paz, slightly bewildered. And then Kaili enters. "Kaili!" the Candidate calls, patting the empty seat beside her -- on the opposite side as T'paz, of course -- and motions the fellow Candidate close. "Come sit with us!" Where it /might/ be safe. Only might.

Re'a? She will take charge of 'Skimmers? Hope flares in Ri's blue eyes and she nods to Tarlin. "Seems like, but wait, please Sky?" She reaches over and deftly removes a rather worn emerald green ribbon from amidst the black and white. "I've had this since weyrling hood. Nothing personal, Re'a." Her smile is still tremulous, but she wouldn't have her wing under anyone else.

Dany doesn't really notice the arm about the back of her chair as such, there's candy you see, oh and knot-swapping.  "It's kinda strange you know.  I'm scared.  I mean Re'a's proddy and you know what she gets like then."  She leans closer to whisper to the bronze-rider.   "But I think the weyrlings will be happy with Ri."  And more candy is consumed.

Sk'lar chuckles softly, "Ohhhh, Re'a. How you tempt me with every word. But, I think I've got something even better... that'll could very well be so very fun as well." Well, for some people, but more than likely not for a certain goldrider -which is the entire point. He nods back over to Ri as she plucks the ribbon out, and then looks back to Re'a. "/This/ is yours. And the wing comes with it. Maybe next time I should make all my decisions on kissing skill alone."

T'paz nods at the pursuing Sk'lar, and leans back in his seat.  His inquiry can wait, it's only observations and a suspicion, is all.  Then he spots that Kaili girl, from one of his previous visits here.  He grins and raises his mug in greeting to her.  The wonderful little flirting that the young bronzer is trying to send in the direction of that lovely pregnant bluerider is noticed, and grinned at. "Bluerider, try the candied yellowfruit.  They were designed to be a little game."  He reaches over and picks up a candied fruit with two lobes.  "You and someone pull on either side.  Whoever gets the larger piece wins, or gets a wish, or whatever.  It was all the rage at Ista about 10 Turns ago."

Re'a blinks a time or two as she glances down at the knot held in Sk'lar's hand. Well, at least it's not the WLM knot he's trying to shove on her like a certain goldrider kept trying to do. "The 'skimmers? You're giving me the 'skimmers?" Her old wing! Grinning broadly, she takes the knot from his hand before he can change his mind, "I'd be honored to take over the wing for Ri, seeing as the other greenrider just took her old position. Though, she can't help but ask once more as she twirls the knot about her finger, "Perhaps I'll corner you later for that talk..." A glance is thrown towards Tarlin, "MAybe after you put the youngen to bed."

With the wing safely protected, the demi-rider begins to allow the new position to actually sink in. "I'm going to be weyrlingmaster? To this group?" And others as well, she supposes. Liuth is busy bugling outside, but Ri is still not quite there yet. "And Re'a back at the weyr.. Yes, I can deal with that." She sits, abruptly and ponders, absently reaching for a piece of the remaining candy.

Q'lan blinks at T'paz's comments, glancing at the tray and seeing the candied yellowfruit, picks one up with his free hand.  "Here, Dany, let's try it - I know what I'm wishing for," he says, a flush rising to his cheeks as he offers her one side of the candy.

A scraggly looking figure enters the room.  She's bearing a broom and a rag.  She smells of old fruit and vegetables, and is staying well out of the way.  She sweeps here and there.  She'd pass for a child, but for the narrow and wrinkled face that surfaces from under her hood.

Tarlin refuses to give Re'a's comment the benefit of a reply, though her shoulders stiffen slightly.  She smiles and gives Ri a pat on the shoulder.  "Congratulations.  I don't envy the weyrlings one bit."  She winks, then slowly approaches her weyrmate, making sure that he's finished business before slipping her arm into his.  "I think I'm going to head on home, dear."

Dany frowns at the Igen WeryLeader.  "I don't understand."  She states simply, her dark eyes watching everyone take her ...I mean T'pazes candy.  "How about you and Q'lan show me how its done?"  She flutters her lashes at T'paz.  "Really what would you wish for?  You already have Llewyth."  Sometimes she really doesn't have a clue.

Kaili does of course sit next to Cylara, good view of T'paz that way.  Leaning over to fellow candie she whispers, "What's going on Cy?"  Before perking towards T'paz, "What's this about candy?"

Sk'lar seems to be chuckling quite a bit lately, and most because of Re'a. "Perhaps... come by the office tomorrow and we'll discuss things." Just as long as she isn't another E'ur, he will be a very, very happy person. Drawing fingers through his hair, now that his job here is done, he glances after Tarlin to be claimed by her, and it us just then that he remembers T'paz. Cursing slightly under his breath, "Ugh... a moment longer?" A glance to the Igenite, "There was something?"

Cylara eyes the candy. "Am I allowed any?" she inquires of T'paz and indeed the room in general. The candied yellowfruit is eyed, a touch warily. "Suppose I get the bigger end... does that mean I'll Impress if I wish it?" The fiery eyebrow lifts as the Starsmith puts her curiosity out there, half teasing the bronzerider for his statement. She'll probably get in trouble for it, too, knowing Weyrleaders. "Ri just got made the new Weyrlingmaster and Re'a the new leader of the Skyskimmer Wing." Or so Cylara understands it.

T'paz hears Q'lan's comment and laughs.  He sips his ale again, quite enjoying the flavour.  At Cylara's inquiry, he turns and replies "Absolutely.  And I say, you wish as much as you like.  There's now way of knowing how the Hatchlings choose, so a wish is as good a trick as any."  He sees Sk'lar, about to be whisked away, and nods.  He rises smoothly from his seat, and moves over to the Telgar Weyrleader's side.  He beckons for him to just move away from the group for a moment.

Q'lan is still very much a teen when it comes to these things and he blinks at Dany, the hand with the yellowfruit wavering a bit, then dropping slowly to the table.  "No, that's all right," he says heavily, although a smile graces his features.  "I'm not hungry anyway."  He withdraws his arm in a quiet movement, careful not to disturb the pregnant woman beside him.

Tarlin releases Sk'lar to talk with the Igen Weyrleader, smiling at the both of them.  "Well, if you plan to come with, I suppose I can wait a moment longer."  She slips off to a seat near the door, her apron now draped over an arm.

Dany can sort of sense she's done something wrong, that and her back is slightly colder than what it was before.  "I wasn't in Ista ten turns ago."  She mumbles as she picks a piece of the candied yellowfruit from the table.  "We could give it a go I suppose."  She offers hopefully, waving the end of the candy in Q'lan's direction.  "Just I though he meant it was done another way I guess."

Sk'lar shoots an apologetic glance back to Tarlin, before moving over to T'paz, a welcoming smile upon his face. "Sorry for your wait. What is this you wanted to talk with me about?"

T'paz whispers "I was just wondering if you've noticed any...I dunno...drudges that don't really belong to Telgar, lately.  I've been as suspicious as a watch-wher ever since Faelze was abducted, and I've been spotting these really smelly drudges everywhere lately." to you.

You overhear Dany whisper "... ... we ... ... use ... ... ... ... there are people here ... ... ... ... you ... ... ... ... ... ... ... people."  to Q'lan.

Ri finally gives up on the crowds and realising the one person she wants to speak with most about all this isn't in the room, he must be found. As she stands, she grins at Re'a. "Guess we have a lot to talk about, huh?" but later. For now, she is in pursiut of a more elusive prey, a former stablehand she once knew.

Sk'lar whispers "Well, Telgar has tried to tighten up security ever since the Holder's dinner. The Headwoman's authority is over our drudges, and we've been extra vigilant in our lower caverns. But, I, personally haven't noticed anything right off. " to T'paz.

Ri slips out the door, eager to talk with Hunter and tell him all the news.

Ri disappears into the hallway.

Q'lan can hardly believe his good luck and eagerly takes the proffered end of the candy, his dark eyes widening at the offer and her words.  "Ahhh, right," he responds to her whisper, the flush again rising into his cheeks.  Hope springs eternal with him, as usual, and he can't help but smile, that smile that brings the spark into his eyes and the wonder in his voice.  "Should I tell you what I wished for?"

Kaili frowns as T'paz heads off and starts to whisper about .. smelly drudges?  How odd.  She then glances over at Dany and Q'lan and finally back to Cylara, "I missed quite a bit didn't I?"

T'paz nods and says "Good, glad to hear that.  Igen's going to be emulating that kind of thinking soon.  If anything surfaces, could you have your Headwoman let me know.  I'm trying to see there a pattern here."  He sets his empty mug on the drink tray and says "I'm sure it's nothing, but it never hurts to communicate." He extends his hand to the man.  "I'll let you go here.  Clear Skies.  See you soon enough."

Dany smiles, her fingers latched onto the other end of the candied fruit.  "Well if you want to tell me you can, but it's not a big deal you know."  She says as she tugs.  She is supposed to tug right?  As for the blushing she doesn't really notice it.  After all, Q'lan has been blushing around her ever since she's known him.

Sk'lar nods after T'paz, "Certainly. I'll have her look into it and see if she suspects anything. Thank you for brining your concerns here, its appreciated." Another nod of his head to T'paz before he moves over to collect Tarlin, "Clear skies, T'paz." Then he is looking down to his weyrmate, tugging her closer, "Shall we?"

Re'a goes home.

Tarlin smiles up at her weyrmate and rises, tucking herself against his side.  "Most definitely," she replies quietly, and allows him to lead her out.

Q'lan's crimson cheeks aren't too unusual, at least when he's around the bluelet, and he too tugs, pulling at the candy to offset Dany's pull.  "Oooo, you got the bigger piece!" he exclaims, a bit more loudly than he intended, a truly disappointed look on his face.  "What /did/ you wish for after all?"  It's like dragonpoker, see; he'd rather call her hand than reveal his own first.
