Logfile from Toshie.

Dark Temple

Dark passages lead in from all directions, centering upon the inner sanctum of the shadowed temple. There is no earthly way that this structure is located under New York City, for beyond the pillared archways are windows to a nightmarish landscape that holds no semblance to the surface world. The tiles on the floor depict the seven elements of the oni in seemingly random patterns that spiral towards the center of the room. At each cardinal point, a statue of obsidian stone rears with regal yet terrible splendor while gazing down at the tiered diases in the very center of the room.

What really gives proof to the fact that this is a different plane of existence however is the open sky over the center of the temple, letting the starlight illuminate. The sky looks strange though, the patterns of the constellations are reversed, mirrors of the real world. Oddly enough, the sun never rises and it never rains in here either.

Amefuri and Gouka are here.

Obvious exits:

Portal

Yuurin

Delicate of presence is she; this svelte young woman of just a little over five feet is but a wraith in form with her sinewy build and vaguely asian features. A wealth of sloe-black hair generally descends to about mid-back, the shine of healthy evident along her silken tresses. Feline-lilted eyes with irises of seemingly sundered amber and flecked with pyrite's false glimmer, are rimmed with thick, dark lashes. Pixie nose is perched over a pair of dark lips, her face accented with cheekbones' dramatic angle only to be softened with a pair of youthful dimples. This young woman is a sinewy sylph by all accounts with muscles borne of an athletic life and a silent grace very well tamed.

Tiny plaits of blonde and scarlet accent here and there in her hair, just as beneath the jagged cut is yet more of that dramatic red to liven things up. Loose pants of sullen indigo hang low on her hips, supported by braided leather belt that is knotted in place. Long-sleeved, stretchy shirt clings tightly to her form, scooping just low enough to reveal a hint of a tattoo on her shoulder. Darkened vermilion shirt drops to just shy of pant's beltline to allow her belly-button in the front and a tribal tattoo in the back to each play peek-a-boo. The toes of a pair of soft-soled canvas shoes that have seen quite a bit of wear are shown now and again from beyond the folded cuffs of her formless pants. When it is cooler, a tan suede jacket is belted about her waist, cuffs and lapels woolen.

An ash grey raptor's feather dangles from a singular plait in her hair, attached with a bead of jade.

Yuurin appears to be 17 years, 1 months, and 7 days old.

She is awake and looks alert.

Amefuri

Sea foam tresses fall in soft undulating waves around shy, pixie features before trickling to an end in the smooth caress of her lower back.  Fey aquamarine irises peer out at the world from beneath a dark fringe of upturned lashes, their unique color able to darken like the storm tossed sea or lighten to the color of a secluded Caribbean bay.  Standing at 5'2, there's not much to her slight frame and her waif's appearance just adds to her aura of vulnerability.  But as in most things, appearances can be deceiving.  There's an indication of stubbornness in the tilt of her pointed chin and the firm line of her full, strawberry lips.

Soft earthtones in linen encases her limber frame, the paler tan wrapping around her slim torso in a loose homespun tunic.  A darker, more earthy brown loosely envelopes boyish legs in well worn trous, both top and bottom cut in a traditional masculine style.  Dark black slippers with leather soles are slipped easily onto her tiny feet.

Amefuri appears to be 18 years, 5 months, and 9 days old.

She is awake, but has been staring off into space for a minute.

Gouka

Gone are the heavy frames, and her eyes are no longer brown, either. Instead, light blue contacts are put in, and her red-brown hair has been released to fall about her neck and shoulders, with two bangs hanging down in front of her face. Creamy pale skin is now made slightly darker and her lips and eyes are highlighted with bright deep colors, red for the lips and blue/black for the eyes.

Adrie is wearing skin tight, almost painted on black leather pants, shiny, like only good leather can be. Her top is a midriff spagetti strapped blouse, and her feet are clad in high heeled sandals, although from looking at her toes, it's obvious she's also wearing hose. She is kept warm, however, by a slim-cut leather jacket. The effect of these clothes on her body is rather stunning, with the smooth skin of her stomach, and obvious curves of her hips and breasts on display for all to see.

She is awake, but has been staring off into space for 10 minutes.

Mina slumps against the chains, panting as her body still spasms slightly.  The rush of pain is gone, but the memory still remains.  "Amefuri," she whispers weakly, looking away in shame.  She closes her eyes yet again as what's ahead of her sinks in.  Pain that could be healed even more painfully, torture in itself, before the cycle starts again.

Awww...did Gouka break her?   The Onisenshi smiles, pulling away from Amefuri only enough to look her in the face.  "That's a good girl.   You're one of the kitten's then.   Wonderful.   I shall enjoy playing with you."  She murmurs softly, her hand moving away from Amefuri's cheek, slipping around her body to pull the seishi against her.  "Now.   Kiss me."  She orders softly.   Just to test how much pull she has with Amefuri now.  She is unaware completely that anyone else could've walked in.

Toshie is emerging from the temple portal in a far more sedate way as compared to the last time she entered this place that belongs on the cover of a fantasy novel. Head shakes from side to side though as soon as she is clear, as if clearing her vision from the brief distortion. And her flying shadow is ever there, winging in after the girl, turning upon pinion's point as the bird sweeps into the temple proper. The girl is hesitating though, blinking at the sight before her with wide eyes. This really should teach her to come down here. Not seeing the bindings on the seishi yet, she mutters, "Oh, dear. Am I interrupting something, Adrie...?"

"Never," Mina hisses back, her dazed eyes returning to glare defiantly at the onisenshi.  She doesn't have the body control to try to move away, yet, but she won't willingly submit to Gouka's demand.  "I'd rather kiss an angry rattlesnake.  It'd probably kiss better, too."  She may be down, but she's not out yet.  "Adrie..."  She repeats the name softly and then grimaces, "Chase sends his regards."  She'll get that little dig in.  Looking over towards Toshie, her eyes widen as she spots the falcon and she tries to send out a call towards the bird, only to be rebuffed.  Confused, she looks from bird to the new arrival as understanding sets in.  "He's yours, isn't he?"  Her chin inches up to indicate the girl's shadow.  She'd be more polite under other circumstances, but at the moment she's rather tied up.

Gouka smiles, turning slightly.  "Oh, Yuurin!"   She then turns back to Amefuri, her eyes hardening.  "You're not interrupting anything, Yuurin.   In fact, if you want to help torture this bitch, you can."  The dig hurt, especially with how she 'felt' about Lexie.  "Is that how you want to play it, Amefuri?   Soon you'll be eating out of my hand, begging me to tie you up and treat you like my personal slave."   Her hand moves back to Amefuri's cheek, starting to glow with the sickly blackish green chi flame that is the visible manifestation of her powers.  She leans into Amefuri, ordering again.  "Kiss me."   Then she smiles.  "And if I were you, I'd be awfully worried about your friend Chase.    Lexie's gone, and so there's no one....no one holding me back anymore, Amefuri."   Which could be a bad thing.  Just ask Reese.

"/She's/ my bond," Tosh prompts automatically, her voice rather slow as she speaks, almost vague in reply. Her attention is clearly focused upon the sight of the two young women, the briefest of frowns drawing down at her dark 'brows. "Adrie... what are you doing to her?" There is a touch of unease in her voice now, moving forward a little more towards the pair. The girl cocks her head to the side, gaze lifting up to the wheeling falcon as if listening, and then she is looking back to the pair, frown deepening.

"No," Mina returns, turning her head away.  As for Chase.. her eyes widen slightly, "What do you mean Lexie's gone?"  The question slipped out, a moment of weakness, but she shrugs her shoulders, feigning indifference.  First Rainey, then John, and now.. something to do with Lexie.  People she cares about who's lives were messed with by the Yin gods.  She can see the chi-flame from the corner of her eye, and knows what it means, but she won't be cowed so easily.  "She," the seishi apologizes without even thinking.  She doesn't usually make that mistake, but she's also used to forming that mental connection quickly and easily with another creature.  To find that she can't has thrown her off.

Gouka smiles sweetly.  "She was...rejected as our Miko."   Hey, who cares if Amefuri knows, right?   "And it's too bad, Amefuri.  I would have thought you learned."  Her power lashes out again.   The upside is that Amefuri won't have a scratch on her.  The downside is that she'll be wracked with pain again.   While her power is lashing Amefuri with invisible whips, she turns her head to Yuurin, smiling.  "What does it look like I'm doing to her?   Mitama gave me a new toy, and I intend to play with her, until her first, last, and only thought each day is for me."  Gouka.  Evil.

Shen alights upon the statue of Nainokami, the falcon perching neatly only to turn one eye upon Amefuri with an almost idle gaze. "Lexie? She's gone from us," Toshie speaks softly, again almost vague in substance, as she watches the scene before her. And it's a very good thing she hasn't seen whatever remains of the miko there is around here. The girl draws forward a few more steps, reaching forward as if to place a hand to Adrie's back. "Mitama did...?" she eases slowly, eyebrows knitting. Little, lost oni, anyone?

"Rejected-" is all that Mina's able to get out before pain wracks her body again and no matter how hard she tries, she can't hold in the screams.  Straining against the chains again, she can't hold back the sounds of her torment, the sound of her pain echoing around the room until it doubles back on itself, filling up empty space.

Gouka smiles, holding Amefuri in the grip of her power for a moment longer, then releasing her.  "Are you still going to continue to defy me, Amefuri?"   She smiles, leaning in to the Seishi again, pressing her body against Amefuri's hard.  "I can make you scream in pain....or pleasure, dear Mina.  All you have to do is submit to me....make yourself mine....and it can all be yours.   Do you want it?   She says, stroking Mina's cheek.  "Or do you want the pain?"

Toshie startles at Mina's screaming, her eyes growing wide in amazement. "Adrie! Don't!" the girl cries out, immediately reaching out as if to try to grip the other oni about the waist and try to tug her away from the screaming seishi. "Leave her alone! Please leave her alone. Don't do that to her." Upon Nainokami's statue, the falcon simply flutters its wings once, and then goes still again, seemingly uninterested in this all.

Tears well up in Mina's eyes unwillingly, running down her cheeks as her head lowers, her body turning to jelly as she slumps down again.  Her breathing harsh, she shakes her head again, licking her lips.  "I won't betray.. I won't betray.." she whispers harshly, panting out each word.  "I can't.."  Her body trembles with the aftershocks of the second dose of Gouka's 'healing' power.  At Toshie's words, she blinks and it takes a superhuman effort to stare at the other onisenshi, eyes wide.

Add a 'lift her head and' in between to and stare.  Sigh.

OOC: Amefuri yeahs, especially since there's erm.. physical reminders of what happens when you peeve the Yin gods off around.. good thing Mina doesn't see them. o.o

Gouka smiles at Toshie, though her eyes are hard.  "Stay good?"  She asks, before shaking her head.  "Stay out of it, Yuurin.    Or you'll end up like her.  She was the one stupid enough to annoy Mitama.   He gave her to me...and I intend to keep her."  She reaches around Amefuri's waist, pulling her closer.   "Now kiss me...or get it again."    And again, and again.   And probably still again.  Gouka is very...demented.

"No!" Toshie yells, taking a long step away from Gouka with eyes that are narrowing. Of all of the things to see one of the oni do before her, what Adrie is forcing upon that bound seishi doesn't exactly warm this girl's heart. "Leave her /alone/." Her eyes flash, and the bird is already responding to the request from her bondmate. The falcon turns her head towards the other oni, and Gouka will more than likely feel an almost violent tug deep inside, a tug that'll inevitably mean the drain of her chi, her very power with the intent to weaken.

"Iie,

Gouka screams, not necessarily in pain, but rather, in frustration at the denial of her pleasure.  "Damn you, Yuurin.  She's /mine!/"  Gouka insists, reaching her arms out and lashing out at Toshie with her healing powers.  "So leave me alone and go back to wherever the hell you came from."   Hopefully, she'll stun Toshie long enough to do something else to her.   Except that the chi drain may be weakening her greatly.

"Iie," Mina cries softly, but her gaze isn't on Gouka anymore, it's on Toshie.  "Please, no," she whispers hoarsely.  "Don't.. please don't put yourself in danger for me, Yuurin-san."  She watches the scene before her in horror before she makes a decision, her shoulders slumping as tears of betrayal swim in her troubled aquamarine eyes, whispering quietly to herself, "Gomen ne, Rath.  Gomen ne."  Turning a hard gaze towards Adrie, she acquieces, "I'll kiss you, but it will mean nothing.  It will show that you have me in your power for now, but in the end, it means nothing."

Toshie gasps in both pain and alarm, falling backwards a few paces until her back comes against a statue of one of the other gods. Her hands slips back to grip it, and then she slides down to sit upon the floor. For during it all, her eyes remains forever upon Adrie, narrowing. Gradually, the girl fills with the power that is leached away from from Gouka, the bird channeling what is claimed directly to her bondmate. But still, Shen watches the oni as well, continuing to try to suck out the chi from the woman, drawing out bit after bit in a steady stream that seems to quicken as the connection is kept. "Don't touch her..." Her voice almost sounds far away, the girl already slipping into Nainokami's darkness, a meditative trance to ignore any further lashing out at her.

Gouka slumps against Amefuri herself.  "What the hell, you miserable little bitch."   Now her angry side is being unleashed.  "We worship the damned Yin gods."   She attempts to lash out at Yuurin again, this time with illness, trying to make the other oni nauseous.   "This girl...she's /mine./   My new play thing.   My new pet.   Mitama gave her to me.  And you're trying to protect her?"   The oni rolls her eyes, though weakly.  "Stop trying to protect her.  She asked for this herself."

Mina isn't just dead meat.. she pushes at Gouka as the senshi slumps against her, trying to throw her off balance.  "What do you know of why - Mitama, was it - why Mitama turned me over to you," she gounds out between gritted teeth, her breath still coming in weak pants.  "And I'm /not/ yours," she counters hoarsely.  "Whatever you do to me, you damned bitch, I'll never be yours."  And with those words, she attempts to headbutt the woman beside her, now that she's within easy reach.  It's a weak attempt, the seishi's body screams its protest with each movement, but there's enough force to probably stun them both for a good couple of moments if it connects.

Toshie was going to drop into a meditative trance, and allow the darkness to keep her centered, but she is dragged right on back out by Gouka's words. Still filling with the other's chi, golden eyes glare right on back at the woman, "Being a Yin doesn't mean you have to /torture/ someone. Do /that/. That's... horrible. Now I know why Kieran warned me from you. You-" She startles as suddenly everything gets awfully dizzy. The world spins before her, and she is already reaching to use the chi flooding into her without the outlet, using it and her own healing powers to try to resolve the nausea. It still encroaches at the edges, but the girl is picking herself back up, slowly.

Gouka is pissed off now.   /Very/ pissed off.   "Gods damn you, Yuurin!    For a fool!   You think we're the good guys?    HA!   Why else would Sungnocha offer his power to me, a shy lonely, dyke librarian?   Because he saw something vicious and dark within me."  Which became an excuse for Adriana to become Adrie.  Her chi lashes out again, more powerfully this time, aiming for the bird.   She's not sure if she can make an animal sick, but she's damn well going to try.   "I am Gouka, onisenshi of Sungnocha, god of trickery and deception.   And if I want to keep this loser of a seishi and warp and twist her into my slave, then I'm damn well going to do it!"   She lashes out with her illness power again, still hoping to make Yuurin sick, while her newly reinforced chi is strong.

Amefuri's headbutt staggers Gouka slightly, but the woman is much to pissed off to be deterred now, moving with the headbutt to the side, away from Amefuri.   She now also has clearer shots at her opponents, too.

Her headbutt might have only staggered Gouka, but Mina's eyes are all swirly.  @.@  Ooh, look at all the pretty stars.

If Gouka's lash primarily a construct of chi, all Shen is going to do is absorb it and send the power right on back over to Tosh. But the attack was enough to send the normally complacent creature to actually startle at having an attack focused at it, and so the drain momentarily abates. The girl flickers a glance to her bond, only to be knocked down to her hands and knees at Adrie's newest attack. Guess this is what happens when its your first time using powers during a confrontation. She has no clue what she's doing. "Ooooohhhh," she mutters, moaning slightly, and trying to heal herself clear once again.

Once the drain abates, her power redoubles anew.   "Here, Yuurin.  Let me help you feel better."   Adrie says, focusing her powers of healing upon Yuurin.  "Sorry I make you sick.   But I'll heal you."   She smiles as she turns her head at Amefuri.   "Just a few minutes more, my darling Mina, and you'll be mine."   Her eyes harden, and she turns back to Toshie, green/black flame erupting from her hands.   "Feel the healing curse of Sungnocha!"  She exclaims, her eyes alight with what could only be termed madness.

The stars around Mina's head are abating slowly and as she blinks her world back into focus, her ears stop ringing enough to hear Gouka's threat towards Toshie.  "Iie," she cries, pulling against her chains before slumping down weakly, hanging loosely by the top manacles as her body resists her pleas to fight on, to strain and try to pull against her restraints.  Strength was never her forte.  She can do nothing but watch with wide eyes.  "Yuurin-san..."

Toshie clenches her teeth shut as soon as Gouka's skills fill her, fingers digging along the floor of the temple enough to break her nails. Well, durn, there goes that fancy manicure she got just the other day. Her body heaves at the pain and cry slipping from her lips, but she is immediately using her powers to rid herself of it just as quickly. Shen screeches a raptor's note of challenge. Not but a moment next the bird is launching from the statue and with a powerful sweep, stoops for Gouka, talons and beak slashing for the woman's face. Again, the girl is climbing to her feet.

Gouka screams, a high pitched squeal of anger.  "YOU BITCH!"  Her hands go up, her concentration broken as she tries to ward off the bird's attack, to protect her pretty face.   Not very smart, true, especially when she can cure herself, but then, Superman does duck when they throw the guns at him.  "Get away from me you stupid animal!"  She swings one arm to try and knock the bird from the air, her powered attacks ceasing.

Mina offers up a soft chuckle, her blue-green eyes dancing.  "If you can't handle one bird, Gouka, you're very lucky that I'm hindered here."  She's not sure if Toshie can hear her, but she sends the compliment the oni's way anyway.  "Nice falcon you've got there."  She can feel the niggling of life in the back of her mind, but it feels 'off' and she doesn't want to risk calling it forth.  She's not sure she could handle whatever would appear.  Instead, she grimaces at her own position, mentalling urging Gouka to step closer to her again.

Toshie is shaking her head to clear it from any effects of Gouka's attack from before, using every bit of that stolen chi from the other oni to speed her own healing. A few blinks later and her gaze narrows upon the screaming woman. There is no anger in her look, but possibly something of barely restrained pity. In the next moment though, the girl slips back into a fighting stance as her martial arts background shows itself. Meanwhile, Shen swoops off to avoid any more swipes at her wings, finding a perch up on Nainokami's statue once again. "Please, Adrie. Stop this now. I can help you." Healer's altruistic side showing through. "Just leave her alone or next time I'll not just have Shen drain your existing chi, but your permanent as well, until you have /nothing/. Ever. Just... stop."

Gouka glares at Toshie.  "Help me?"   She screams, balling her fists and attemping to charge her chi as high as she can get it.   "Help me?"   She screams again.   "I /love/ what I've become, Yuurin.   I want to be like this.   And now, I want to destroy you as well."  Maybe Yuurin should just beat her.  "And you'd better be careful, Toshie.  The collective powers of Sungnocha can...and will destroy you, if anything happens to me."   She isn't about to abandon her claim on Amefuri.  "It figures Nainokami would pick such idiots for Oni.   You're trying to protect the seishi of the god in direct opposition to yours!   Amefuri is one of Byakko's!   Your enemy."

Toshie seems to have completely forgotten Mina's existence, or she is simply turning all of her attention upon Adrie at the moment. "I don't care who she belongs to. What you were doing was... wrong, Adrie. You don't know how wrong it was. You're sick. You need fixing." The gymnast waits for an opening before darting forward in the middle of the other woman's words. Pivoting upon one foot, she spins about to try to launch a kick at Adrie, purely with the intent to disable, if not knock the woman out.

And it works, too.   Her chi weakened, Gouka is without defense against Yuurin's physical attacks, and she staggers once, before finally falling, face down on the hard, cold floor of the temple.   She's out now, but for how long is anyone's guess

Mina just gasps at Yuurin's moves, impressed despite herself.  If she could do things like that, she might not have ended up chained Byakko knows where with one oni slumped down face first and another one across from her.  She's not sure what to make of the first of Nainokami's oni that she's met, so she wisely keeps her mouth shut and just continues to watch the woman, her eyes slightly widened in apprehension.  Whereas before she would have trusted the other woman easily, her little run-in with Malachai has her more wary.

Toshie remains in stance for a moment, looking at Adrie as she hits the floor. The young woman finally moves over to her, still a little hesitant before dropping to her knees before the woman, pressing a hand to the other's forehead. Her lips draw into a fine line momentarily, worry etching its way. "She isn't going to be happy at all when she wakes up." Almost wearily, the girl looks over to Mina, frowning, "Are you okay? Do you need to be healed? Don't take this wrong, but you look a little ragged."

"Hai," Mina replies softly, still hanging limply as if her body can't find the reserves to stand properly.  She's chained spread-eagled between the statues of Nainokami and Sungnocha but in truth other than being worn out, there isn't a mark on her.  Much thanks goes to Gouka and her 'healing' powers.  "I.. I'm.. Gouka took care of the healing," she notes softly, wryly.  "I.. and you, Yuurin-san, are you okay?"  The Byakko is blind as a newborn kitten when it comes to sensing chi, thus she's not sure exactly what happened.  But the standing oni doesn't look too badly considering she was presented with a healthy dose of Adrie's powers.

Toshie gives Adrie's hair a final, almost gentle pat, smoothing it away from her face with something of a sigh. She reaches over to try to arrange the oni into something of a more comfortable position before climbing back to her feet. She moves over towards Mina, frowning slightly. "I'm fine." Fingers push her now tangled hair back, her eyes showing a bit of weariness now that all of Gouka's chi that flooded her has already been used and gone to heal. She eyes the chain for a moment, frowning, and then looks back at Mina, "Mitama honestly gave you to her? Really?"

"Hai," Mina admits, embarrassed.  "I.. I'd gone to make sure that he was okay, and.. I don't think he took kindly to a seishi visiting him."  She studies the younger girl briefly before saying, "I.. why did you fight her?  It's obvious that you care about her."  Her face hardens briefly as she stares down at the prone form.  There's a shiver that runs up and down her entire body before she pointedly looks away.  "I won't say that I'm not happy that you came by when you did, Yuurin-san."

"Toshie. My name is Toshie," she responds, moving closer to Mina to peer at the chains, and more aptly how to actually remove them. "But I don't mind if you call me Yuurin either. I'm fine with either one." She sighs, glancing back to her, "I've only met her once before. Well, twice I suppose. And I care about her because she is an onisenshi, and I think that she needs help. But what she was doing to you wasn't right at all. She's done that before. And since Lexie isn't here to keep watch on her... I don't know." There is a touch of worry in her voice. "You don't happen to know if there is a key or anything, do you?"

"And I'm Mina," the seishi introduces herself by the name that she's more comfortable with.  As for help, she just shakes her head but lets the onisenshi hold onto her idealism, something that she used to have in spades but now is finding that emotion hard to access.  "She's done it before?"  Her mouth flattens slightly before she blinks at the other girl and shakes her head, looking abashed.  "I... I woke up this way.  She.. she made me dizzy in Illuminations and the next thing I know I'm here.. wherever here is..."  And here is enough to give her the creepy crawlies still.

Toshie blinks at the name being offered, and then she is glancing back up at the woman. "Mina?" Realization strikes her, "Oh! You must be the one Rathan mentioned. I think he actually wanted me to meet you." An soft smile arrives, deepening her dimples, "Funny how these things turn out." The girl reaches for one of the chains, giving it a few experimental tugs, and not coming up with much of anything for her work. She sighs, and moves back over to Adrie to see if the woman has a key, "Well, if Mitama gave you to her, I will bet you must have done something pretty bad. I... I don't really want to go against him, but I think you've gone through more than enough to get whatever lesson or whatnot he was trying to give you?" Eventually, a key is found and she is moving back to Mina.

"I would've preferred we'd met under different circumstances," Mina can't help but grin weakly at their situation nor respond to the other girl's soft smile.  "But Rath mentioned you as well.  He said that I'd like you.  And he's a fairly accurate judge of people."  Too accurate, at times.  She winces slightly, dreading the fact that she'll have to tell him what sort of stupidity she's gotten herself into this time.  "I.. I'd been there before," she confesses.  "Looking for something that I'd lost," she notes vaguely.  "And he shoved me into a painting, a portal really.  He.. he was a Konanese something before."  What, she's not sure.  "But it had something to do with Suzaku."  She might've kept all of this a secret at some other time, but she's rather miffed at the man for handing her over to a psycho.  She feels no loyalty towards him, no need to protect his secret.  And it might give Toshie some leverage if she does get called onto the table for having helped her tonight.  "And being a sacrificial lamb.  He had to die before Suzaku could be summoned."  Pretty sucky fate, but now Mina's thinking that perhaps it was deserved.

Toshie peers around for a lock, and is setting the key inside of it. A few turn and tugs later, and it falls away, slack in the chains for Mina to get free of now. "He did? Hopefully he said nice things about me. I kept kicking under the table, so he probably had bruises on his shins after that." She frowns back over to Mina, "I'd suggest then that you leave Mitama alone, because if he gave you to Gouka... well, he must have been awfully pissed." She sighs taking a step back, blinking owlishly at the seishi.

Mina falls as the chains are released and only catching herself at the last minute, her hands and knees taking the brunt of the impact.  "Oif," she grunts out exhaustedly before grinning up at Toshie.  "Thank you."  She looks over towards Gouka and frowns before nodding her head, "Hai, he must have been really mad.  Don't worry, it's obvious that he's doing well and dandy with his new memories.  I won't be going anywhere near the place again."  In fact, Mina's planning a new route around the building's block for when she finds herself in that general area.  Moving to sit on the floor and rubbing at her wrists, she turns her mind to a much friendlier conversation.  "Kicking him under the table?  Well then, he must have deserved it.  He can be... trying at times."  Ha, as if she's one to speak.  "But most of the time he's lovely."  The affection in the seishi's voice adds to the warmth of her features, her eyes dancing before the light goes out of them, her shoulders slumping.  "He's not going to like the fact that I'd returned to Malachai's gallery."

Toshie peers down at Mina for a moment, frowning slightly, "That would probably be best." Never mind that Tosh has been trying to work up initiative to visit and see if he'd be willing to make her a picture for her apartment, but she keeps talking herself out of it. She offers a hand to the seishi. "I'll show you the way to get out of here, because if Adrie wakes up again... it won't go all that well for you."

Accepting Toshie's hand up, Mina nods her head quickly, wobbling slightly as she stands.  "There's a way out?"  She couldn't see one before and she wasn't sure how she was going to elude Gouka a second time.  "Please," she smiles again at the oni before shaking her head.  "I.. suppose that meeting me like this means that you won't be able to see me as anything but a baka seishi, ne?"  Shaking her head, she has the grace to look terribly embarrassed.  "I- nevermind... which way is out, Toshie-san?"

As soon as Mina places her hand on Tosh's, the young woman is feeding the seishi a light touch of healing energy, to rid of any left over aches and pains. "There is a way out, but you have to pick the right passage. There are so many, and if you ever get stuck down here again, I doubt you'll find it right off." But the oni is showing her to one such tunnel, "For messing with Mitama? Hai." Hey, she's honest. "But you know now to not do that again, right?" She points a finger down the passage, "Through there. You shouldn't get bugged by any of the nasties. And you'll get let out in the subway. It was nice meeting you, Mina."

"Arigato gozaimasu, Toshie-san," Mina bows deeply before heading up the tunnel carefully, her senses attuned to the noises around her.  At least if anything decides to try to attack, she won't be caught unawares.  The healing touch has returned some of her stamina as well, and she fades from view steadily, if not quickly.
