OLDSKOOL ALBUM ARCHIVE
(newer releases)

On to the 'new' stuff. If you're ever looking for a classic tune to complete your collection with and aren't fussy about what format you get it on, then this is the answer to all your problems.
You can be pretty much guaranteed to find all the big tunes on these more recent compilations, and with many now coming in both mixed and unmixed versions, you're always onto a winner.

"Back to 89-92 : the album"
(Origin, 1999)

Coming in both unmixed vinyl and mixed (read: 'often segued') CD formats, this strays from the usual 'ZeroB/Ratpack/Liquid' approach of always using the same tunes, this time opting for GTO, Rhythm Section, Acen, Congress and After Dark amongst others. Buy.

"Eclipse presents Dance 'Til Dawn"
(Circa, 1995)

Contains one mixed and one unmixed disc of classic anthems (including Moby / Together / K-Klass etc).
Featured on the left is the Stu Allen version, but there was also
(I believe) one done by Slipmatt as well.
Definitely worth tracking down - if you can find it now !!!

"Old Skool Masters Vol.1"
(Rumour, 1998)

Double album with one side ardkorr from the Ratpack (mixing up Terrorize, Awesome 3 and the like) and the other in an early d'n'b style from Nicky Blackmarket (who spins Q Project, Deep Blue and other favourites). Overall, a high quality package.
