A Kid in the Rain

Courtious, flaunting, oppression

Lauched by the terrorists of the daytime,

Living in their sun-drenched worlds

only from day to day

Can we really control the skimpiness

of their swimsuits and

fad diets.

Live it up!!!

Oppression will come for you;

YOU bring it on yourself.

Hurting only on the outside.

Fearing the loss of your precious

cars, couches, fluffy cats, and your

duvee.

Justice for the weak

Who cannot control themselves.

Who cannot defend themselves.

Leave it alone.

I am not the blisters on my arm,

the scars on my stomach or legs.

I am not my sandals.

I am not my cord jacket.

I am not my dirty hair.

I am not my skinless fingertips.

How do you perceive this?

Shock maybe?

Regret?

How do I perceive this?

(Laughter)

Of course.
