The God Mountains have been on Krymus for millenia. It is said that they were once gods that had expened most of their power. There used to be thousands. Now there are only ten thanks to Iblis and his army. They stripped them down because they didn't want to wait for the mountains to give them what they wanted. The mountains provide a material called Tablement. Which is very similar to the wood from a millenium tree. This is what the weapons and armor on Krymus are made of.
There are three major God Mountains, the biggest ones. They are the only ones that have names and can grant magic powers and create thier children. They are named Don: the Mountain of power and courage, Sabbes: the mountain of law and knowledge and Arden: the mountain of life and enchantment. The rest of the mountains provide all the same gifts with the exception of the magical powers. It is said that the God Mountains and the Millenium Trees are realted. This has yet to be proven or disproven.
There are many people of all races on krymus that still worship the Mountains. This has been outlawed by Iblis and anyone caught practicing this religion is executed or tortured and then executed. When this began happening the major mountains began creating their children, each one a rock-like being, made to fight the supernatural, endowed with the spells of their parent mountain and supernatural abilities, these champions protect the mountains and their people. This is for the most part the root of all of the rebellions on Krymus. If Iblis were to eliminate the mountains, he would have complete control over Krymus.

Stalagmite or stalactite:(a gift, usually ground down into a sword by the moutain itself[if it likes you] or by a blacksmith)255

Invulrnerable to all normal attacks, mega damage and magic cold, all fire and heat attacks to 1/2 damage, magic attacks do full damage, immune to tablement weapons, protected by all of its followers.

Means of defense: None, the mountain must be defended by people.
Protectors: Many religious groups, the children of the gods, and most noble and good beings will go out of there way to help a God Mountain in need. When in trouble, it broadcasts a telepathic message to anyone within 400 miles. People who do not care immedietly block it out.
Caves per mountain Each mountain has around 10,000(25,000) caves about the size of a normal house(no rooms) and 100(300) caves about the size of a mansion or small castle(seperate rooms).
Gifts of a God Mountain: Chunks of the mountain are given to people who deserve it, good or evil. Usually around 4 feet long square, and a few inches thick. They weigh around 4 punds, which is incredibly light. It can be made into armor(125 MDC, -10% prowl penalty[its stone, okay?]) or weapons(normal weapons damage in MDC, have same supernatural properties as millenium tree weapons) that have 1D6x10+20 MDC each. Sheilds can be made, 95 MDC. The size of the chunks usually is does not vary more than a foot. But if the deseverver is taller or bigger than normal, the size can vary up to 3 feet. Stalagmites or stalctites can be given to be ground down into weapons easier. Water dripping in the caves is like a sealing agent, it can seal tablement together like it was a single piece of stone. The water can be poured over any armor for an additional 25 MDC(NOT permanent) or any weapon can be dipped in it for an addtional 1D6 MDC damage(wears off in approximately a week) If someone
drinks the water, if a supernatural and evil being, it is like poison, 4D6 MDC per melee, -5 to save. If not supernatual OR evil, then an additional 30 MDC is added to them and lasts until it is destroyed, if an SDC being, they have an MDC of 40 until it is destroyed, then they revert to normal. All of these feats that have to due with the water cannot be repeated for at least a month. Gm's discretion. If the water is kept away from the mountain for more than a week, it loses all mystic qualities. The water is sold for 4000 kryms per pint if still enchanted of course. Every cave has at least a tiny pool of about a gallon. However, a cave can have as much as 4000 gallons in a single pool.
Other abilities(Can bestow magic powers and create Children)can heal 1D4x10 SDC/MDC and 2D4x10 Hitpoints up to 300 people can be healed per instant, can cure disease and poison, purify all food, water, Resurrection, restoration(if a person has suffered dismbemberment within the last 24 hours and his or her body and severed limb is brought into a cave then it an be reattatched. If a person has died with the last 6 hours, they can be broght back to life if the body is at least 85% intact. That person must be submerged in a pool of water inside a cave[the water that has dripped into the cave] a child of the gods or a priest must ask the mountain for resurrection or restoration and there is only an 85% chance the mountain will do it) can commuinicate to the people inside through dreams.
