Nano-Borg O.C.C./R.C.C.
Since the Astrolite Provinces technology is pre-rifts and obviously beyond most others on Earth, Nano technology is fully developed and very state-of-the-art. However the state-of-the-art systems are VERY rare and expensive. The AP military has special elite called Nano Borgs. The wear light MDC armor merely for disguise and comfort. Their bodies are MDC structures, they have supernatural strength and agility, and they can regenerate from the brink of death. However, they are still human and NOT supernatural beings. Therefore, they are not immune to toxins, diseases, psionics, magic, or any other harmful force. They are however immune to pain and highly resistant to disease and poisons. They are hypermetabolic and must eat about 3 times more food and drink about 4 times as much water as normal humans. Their life expectancy is only '2 years +1D4x10 months. They are the only members of military with the rank Specialist. This means they do not give orders to anyone rank Lieutenant or above, but do not take orders except by Colonels and Generals.
Whenever normal people see the S on their uniforms, they immediately fear them. Nano Borgs are seen as near demi-gods and are feared by many. They get free room, board, and rations from whatever inn or restaurant they go to, therefore they are hated by the owners. Whenever a Nano-Borg is involved in a crime, it is automatically assumed (by the people, NOT the military, for they are elite) that they are guilty. These beings definitely pay the price for having so much power.

R.C.C Bonuses: (all physical bonuses CANNOT be improved by physical skills)
MDC Beings: Roll 3D6+25 for MDC
Supernatural P.S.: 20+1D6
Supernatural P.P.: 25+1D4
Superhuman P.E.: 20+2D6 (NOT supernatural)
Regeneration: can regenerate 6D6 MDC per melee, can regrow limbs in one melee or 1 melee action if concentrating. Can regenerate all MDC in one turn if concentrating. Can survive up to -20 MDC, but when MDC is below zero, the character has no combat bonuses, 1/2 attacks per melee, and PS and SPD are at 1/2. Cannot have bionics/cybernetics, juicer, or crazy conversions. Body rejects them.
Horror/Awe Factor: 15 to those who know what they are, or to those who've seen what they can do.
Infrared vision: (NOT automatic, willed) 300ft
Other Bonuses: +2 attacks per melee, immune to horror factor and pain, +5 pull punch, can hold breath for 6 minutes without ill effect, +4 against poisons and toxins, +3 initiative, +2 to parry and dodge, auto parry and dodge (even from behind) and +2 to strike.

Standard equipment: AA-3 light body armor, one AP energy pistol and rifle, +3 other weapons. 5 e-clips for each, 1D6 signal flares, survival knife, binoculars, utility belt, uniform, dress uniform, 2 outfits, military fatigues, bio-monitor system, 2 weeks rations(6 weeks for normal people)
Available upon assignment: small vehicle, specialty equipment, Non AP standard issue equipment if nessicary, no access to power armor, bots, or large vehicles.
Money: Room and board 8000 credits per month starts with a month’s pay.
Cost: The whole conversion, rehabilitation, and training costs 1.75 MILLION credits.
Note: Rogue Nano Borgs are tracked down and executed. The tracking and execution squad has 3 normal, well trained soldiers(4-6th level) with heavy weapons, a military specialist, a wilderness scout, and another Nano-Borg (4-7th level) who is the leader.
