This very old F&S motion light surfaced at an auction in Matamoras, PA. It was manufactured by Magnalite Corp of L.A. California.   It consists of a metal housing with a very thin masonite/cardboard front that has small colored glass beads outlining the letters and the "Major Domo."   It follows the "It's a Leader!" theme that F&S used in much of their advertising.   Behind the front panel but in front of two incandescent lamps is a motor that drives a metal screen in a locomotion manner causing the illuminated beads to shimmer. I would estimate this to be from the mid to late '30s.
