When other children ran to two,
I ran to only one.
Two pairs of arms for other kids,
Two hearts to lean upon.
But,I had one who came for me,
One love to see me through;
And though some kids might wish for more,
One love made up for two.
You always filled the empty space
Left when there's only one.
I'd turn around and see your face,
I never felt alone.
The love you've shown me as I've grown
Has always seen me through;
And if I had to have just one,
I'm glad that one was you.

Your my Hope and Joy
your my best freind,
With you in my life
I can begin again.

My day's were endless
and filled with dispair,
But now I take comfort
In knowing your there.

My night's were lonely
and filled with tear's,
For the mistakes I'd made,
over the past years.

I had lost my life
the person I use to be,
But you touched my life,
and set me free.

You comfort and listen
and show that you care,
I'm no longer filled
with heartache and dispair.

I love you deeply
more than you know,
You've touched my life
and helped me grow.

Your the world to me
my beginning and end,
I take comfort in knowing
