Irisa De Light was born in the late 1600's to the mortal parents of Lila and Lando De Light. Irisa's parents spent most of their lives traveling around the world in search of rare items such as ancient scrolls, texts, jewels and other such things that were to be worth great value. By the age of 5 Irisa's mother Lila died from giving birth to her second child, a son who died shortly after Lila did. Irisa was too young really to know what it met for her mother to be dead. Though during her last years with her father he taught her all he knew and basically raised her more like a son then a daughter.
He taught her how to use a sword, hunt, among a lot of other important things that would come in handy later on in her life. He taught Irisa how to dress up as a boy and act like one, do the walk and the talk, she nailed it all down, and loved her father for letting her do whatever it was she pleased. She knew she could always count on Lando for anything, even if their was a problem she could always confined in him.
By the age of 17 Irisa and her father were down in South America getting a map that would lead them both to 6000 year old books that were very deadly in the wrong hands their would be nothing more then a living hell on the earth. Once the map was in their hands, Irisa's father had been struck with a poison dart. Their was no cure for it, and so around midnight Irisa lost her last living family member and was left alone in the world.
A few months after her father was buried back in Paris along side Irisa's mother she went to Egypt to obtain the books. Only to put her life on the line to get the two innocent books. Irisa managed to get the books, but it had cost her dearly and she would have died if it weren't for her maker Horatio. He gave her his blood and made her his child of Darkness. Irisa was happy again. Horatio was the love of her life, only Horatio's maker Cassandra didn't like the two of them tougher and vanished.
About five months later Irisa learned her maker Horatio was dead. So Irisa's spent most of her immortal life roaming the world. She now lives in the sate of Michigan in a small town called Richmond. In 2001 she met a girl by the name of Jade De Witt, and made her into a vampire. Making Jade her first and hopefully her ONLY immortal companion she will ever need.
