Jamie is a lost soul who travels from city to city throughout the USA. Chances are that she has worked in a dinner near you as a waitress. Her parents both died when she was young; her mother in child birth and her father is supposed to have drowned after jumping off the ferry to Liberty Island one night. Her father is a vampire but Jamie doesn't know it. Jamie feels and senses other people's thoughts from time to time. She has seen spirits wandering around in crowds but she has never spoken to one. Jamie is a relation of the New Orleans Mayfairs - in fact she is Mona Mayfair's first cousin! This is another thing she doesn't know at the moment [though she is about to find out.]
