The Discovery of Dragons****, * by Graeme Base. This book is about the discovery of European, Asiatic, and even tropical Dragons from around the world. It has a lot of humour hidden in it, so it's not for the overly practical. The Discovery of Dragons also has large illustration every two pages that are really impressive and imaginitive when it comes to the different species of dragons. I recommend this book to any dragon lover out there.
Faeries : Doorways to the Enchanted Realm by Lori Eisenkraft-Palazzola. An account of the different faeries in the world, including numerous beautiful illustrations.
The Tough Guide to Fantasyland**** by Diane Wynne Jones. A funny and amusing account and listing of popular fantasy cliches and stereotypes.
