Sentinel

What mightier than the dragon?
To what could we compare?
Is there one so powerful
To share this beast's lair?

With intellect, compassion
Defiancy and might
He's chivalrous and powerful
Full of strength and fight.

He's sleek and strong and agile
Breaths fire hot as hell
He's curl up like a baby
And snooze when all is well.

To some he's good, to some he's bad
They never really know
Do they trust or do they kill him?
Is he friend or foe?

A creature from Mythology
This surely can't be true.
When you are watching out for him
He's watching over you

Dragons Call

We sleep with the dragons,
in the hidden lair.
We sing their call,
in our every prayer.

Threw our eyes,
their world is clear.
Their forgotten song,
our heart can hear.

They guide our way,
threw the darkest night.
We use their wisdom,
to give us sight.

Threw our voice,
you hear their cries.
Their fire can be seen,
deep in our eyes.

They are alive,
deep in our minds.
In us the dragon,
you can find.

Old myths, new beliefs

Dragons, Dragons all around
And not a single flame
They ride no longer in the clouds,
Who is there to blame?

I searched out to the east,
I searched out to the west,
The only thing I found up high,
Was a cloud at best

Dragons, Dragons all around
And not a single flame
They ride no longer in the clouds,
Who is there to blame?

I searched across the empty world,
Spanning the entire width,
The only reply I had heard,
Was that they were a myth

Draongs, Dragons all around,
And not a single flame
They ride no longer in the clouds,
Who is there to blame?

He's free

i see its fierey eyes, burning into me
they tell me "i want to die" will you do the deed
he knows he is the last, and does not want to be
in one sharp pain his eyes go blank, and he starts to bleed

the pain the fear the lonelyness of life
his every thought, his every fear all flowed into me
he wanted to die, his heart held the knife
but the pain was inside of me

i did it, it was me
i sladed the last
i let him go free
i freed him from his past

The day of the tear

Dragons high and dragons low,
Dragons shine and dragons glow

Each possessing their own soul,
All their instincts simply flow

Will they live, will they die,
By their ways or by mine

Humans killing by primal fear,
Makes our existence here quite mere

Most advanced race, we often hear,
Surely all the humans jeer

For in the span of but a day,
Many die, many ways

Is it wrong, is it right,
Does it proclaim a sense of might

Their kind will depart from our sight,
Gone with the hatred and the fright

For humans fear what they don't understand,
So they tend to destroy all
Even their fellow man

Metamorphisis, 2nd Stage

Every night, just before I sleep,
I wrap myself up like a coccoon,
In blankets and in darkness,
So that I may change come morning

A pair of wings, a long shining tail,
A new body to replace the old,
To change my everyday routine life,
And my narrow point of view

Yet, everyday I wake unchanged,
But I still hope that same night,
And I try yet again, for you never know,
Unless you try.

Moonshimmer

She glides through the calm night air,
Sails through the star speckled sky
Becomes one with that of the night
And it's sensual place
Ending the hardships of the day
She is of the moon, it is her name
A slender sliver of the sky
That I cherish ever so dearly

Her warmth brings me ever so close
From the dark and empty void around me
Where embers burn no more,
And light perishes forever more
I accept her embrace of love
The warmth of a familier sensation
One that my own ember burns so bright for
To rejoin the light and add myself,
My colors to hers that blend together
And unite with the warmth and light
That of which is the soul

I can see her in my dreams,
A simple shape in the sky
The night canvas her guise
As she floats about my mind
A lengthy tail, richly azure
Carrasses the sky about her
And me, if she drifts close
So I may also feel her breath
The warmth that makes me burn
Burn so strongly for her
As she soars through my dreams
And hides in bright reality
Which compells me to sleep
So we may finally unite
