Story:
This script was written in either December of 1998 or January of 1999, it was intended to be the season 5 finale but was scraped when Keith Damron wrote a second season 5 finale script called presumably "the seer"(not confirmed) which was better in story, continuity , and intention.
The Script:
The sliders ( Rembrant, Maggie, Mallory , and Diana) slide right into a secret laborator which is located in the Chandler Hotels attic. They also slid right into the middle of an experiment which is being conducted by the owner of the hotel(Mr.Chandler) and a female vesion of Professor Arturo ( whose name is Elaine). The experiment was to create a wormhole to a parallel world. But the experiment is stopped when the sliders reveal their story to the two scientist. Once again the sliding experiment is tried but only to end in failure, an object sent through the wormhole came back but split into two( somewhat cloned). Diana offers to help Chandler to fix the mishap if the sliders can stay at the hotel for free within the next two days. He obliges. After two nights of no sleep Diana is presumably ready to try to open a sufficient vortex, Chandler watches the experiment fail again, as it didn't work. Outraged, Chandler takes Diana's timer and mini Lab and bails to another dimension while taking Diana with him. Arturo's female counterpart is sorry about her friend taking Diana, he doesnt know what to do, but she then discovers the problem with her and Chandlers timer, she quickly fixes, he offers Rembrant, Mallory and Maggie to join her to find Chandler and Diana, and they all agree with her. They slide and leave open a possibility for season 6.

This script was actually written in June of 1996 and was intened for a late episode in season 3 (possibly a season finale). The original script contained not Maggie nor Rickman and did include Arturo. It was rewritten by Nan Hagan and Scott Smith Miller because John Rhys Davies quit the show before it was produced.

Story:
Originally the script for "The Guardian" had a very different opening, it was written by Trace Torme will a more elaborate reason for the Professor to stay on a world a not go with the Sliders. It also featured Arturo hiring somebody to trick the Sliders into thinking that it was his fiancee and that he had to stay here to marry her.

The Story:
This script was originally intended to be the season finale for season 3 but didn't when John Rhys Davies exited the show.
The Script:
This story was about an alternate earth where the earth is being pulled toward the sun. Rembrant is murdered , and at the same time Wade and Quinn are about to be married. The Professor teams up with the Benish of this world and invents an ice hat to protect people from over-heating and also is trying to find a way to save this earth. And then Wade and Quinn do finish the ceremony and are married. After the wedding a vortex opens and we discover that the vortex was really our sliders who fly out and crash the post-wedding. We also learn that this whole episode was about alternate sliders.

The Script:
Just like Slide like An Egyptian, there were only minor changes to this script but in this script the timer is hit by a laser and scorched, it is unfunctional and at the end of the script the timer is working again, with no explanation for how it was fixed, it must have been fixed off screen though.

The Script:
In this script a few different things happen. The sliders talk about just sliding from a snow-filled world where there is different kind of money. They follow Rickman who goes back to Pulsar-Survivors world to where Rickman tries to kill Malcolm. Rickman opens his vortex early after shooting Malcolm in the back and killing him and slides away. Leaving Rembrant to mourn the death of his dead friend.

The Script:
Trace Torme had the idea to conclude the cliffhanger from "Luck Of The Draw" with a seven minute funeral for Quinn which was only a dream. The funeral featured Ryan and Wade who are staying on this earth together to live out their lives and Arturo not caring at all for Quinn. But then Quinn wakes up to find it a dream.
Trace Torme originally intende for the character of Ryan(Nicolas Lea) to join the cast for three more episodes and on the fourth episode we would discover something shocking about Ryan. And also the dog which slid with them was supposed to become one of the sliders but FOX didn't want that.

The Story:
This episode was actually planned to be a two-part story arc under two different names. El Sid (written by Jon Povill) was once a three-paged outline for a script called "Maximum Security Slide", and a follow up two-paged outline called "True Slide" was written at the same time. The script for "Maximum Security Slide" was written and changed its title to "El Sid", after it was filmed the follow up was never scripted, which left an unrested episode in which the character of Michelle meets her doom by a double.

The beginning of this script was very different from what it turned out to be. It was intended that Geraldo was to guest star on this episode and be so crazy on one world that he actually follows the Sliders through the gate and lands on a dinosaur egg, which prompts him to be tormented by a T-Rex. Also , Quinn got a much bigger role in this script draft.

This was the last epsiode of the season which was filmed, and there was also a scene filmed which was not aired but the actor got onscreen credit for the role. It featured a Kromagg cliffhanger but not much is known about this scene since it never was aired.

A very important scene that wasn't filmed due to FOX included Arturo and Quinn explaining how they must wait a certain amount of time before every slide to charge up the timer. It was explained as "the window of oppourtunity".

The Script:
One scene that didn't make it to the final cut, was a scene where Remmy dreams he's singing the national anthem at Candlestick Park.Trace Torme had a cameo in the pilot. In one scene, Quinn explains to Arturo that the timer has a regenerating power chip which will recharge with time. Also in this script Quinn has a next door neighbour named Stephenie who he has a crush on. When he meets his smart double he learns that the smart doubles wife is Stephenie in the other parallel world that smart Quinn is from.

The Script:
The story featured a main story point of a strange occurence while traveling through the sliding tunnel. The Sliders actually encountered creatures living in the tunnels which were devouring other Sliders as they came though. The Sliders barely escape and land on a world where the Aztek civilization never died and still held dominance in California in 1995. Thinking the natives are ignorant, the Sliders openly talk about sliding in front of them...but the natives in Aztek dress fully understand English and pull out a cell phone to call in this new "gateway to the gods". In tampering with the timer, the Azteks are actually able to make it open a vortex before time runs out for a mere moment...just long enough for one of the creatures to pop free and devour a scientist on the project. Also, by opening a vortex early...it reduces the time left before the next slide. While this is going on, Quinn is about to be sacrificed as an offering and Remmy has been working to get his friends free (since he was not captured at the beginning and this world has reverse descrimation with African Americans being the dominant). The Sliders escape at the last minute and recover the timer's power source which the Aztek leader was wearing as an amulet after the incident with the creature...and they slide. While in the vortex, the creatures come back but Quinn figures out that firing the timer at the creatures while in the vortex causing them to vanish. He continues to use this method, but each time he fires...the sliding tunnel collapses a bit more threatening to crush the Sliders before they reach the other side. Quinn and company barely make through after taking care of all the "residents" of the interdimension...
