They respond with explosive cheers, and the entire crowd sings along with the chorus:] Eminem: I said, you don't-- Crowd: --wanna fuck with Shady-- Eminem: --'cause Shady-- Both Eminem and Crowd: WILL FUCKIN' KILL YOU! [With that, the pyros launch down to the stage, signalling the show to begin. The fans bellow some more as the camera pans down to Nick Roberts, Lance Thompson, and Axel Fury.] Axel Fury: Ya know, this could actually be a good pay-per-view... Eminem rules! That's a sweet way to start off! Nick Roberts: It's not exactly my type of music, but the fans seem to-- AF: Let's face it, Nicky, the IWL isn't exactly chomping at the bit to get Tim McGraw or Garth Brooks to play here, are they? Nooooo, and with good reason. They suck. Lance Thompson: Hey, hey now. No need to argue this early on. Anyway, folks, as I was saying... I'm Lance Thompson and these are my broadcasting colleagues, Nick Roberts and Axel Fury! We're coming to you absolutely LIVE from the Joe Louis Arena and we're starting things off with a tag team match between the newly formed "Avalanche" consisting of Krash and Creed, and the IWL veterans, Mikey Violent and Torch! ["Due to the extreme nature of this program, listener discretion is advised." The beginnings of "Edgecrusher" by Fear Factory begins, signalling the arrival of two-thirds of Violent Inc. Mikey Violent and Torch step out from behind the curtain, causing huge boos and even a few thrown objects to cascade through the air.] Mike Jackson: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE FOLLOWING TAG TEAM CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL! INTRODUCING FIRST, TWO-THIRDS OF VIOLENT, INC... MMMIIIIKEEYYYYY VIIIIOLLLLENNNNNT AND TOOOORRRRRRRRCH! NR: Sadly, Torch and Flare are leaving the IWL after tonight, and they will be sorely missed by all of the IWL staff. AF: _Almost_ all of the staff, you mean. NR: You're not serious! AF: Hey, did I say me? I mean, the people that hate Torch from the matches they fought against him! LT: What's this? Is Axel being serious for once? AF: Yeah, well, get a video camera 'cause it probably ain't gonna happen again. [Then, Avalanche's theme music hits, prompting Krash and Creed to bolt down the aisle without waiting for a cue. Torch catches Krash as he runs and powerslams him, whereas Mikey spears Creed to the floor and begins hammering away. ***DING DING DING***] LT: Krash bounces back up and Torch hits him with a lariat that damn near decaptitates him! Mikey suplexes Creed to the canvas! The action is intense! NR: And Torch, now, Krash turns about and stumbles... INTO A CHOKE SLAM! LT: Mikey hooks Creed for a DDT, then runs up the turnbuckles and plants him with it! This is insane! NR: The referee has now restored order, partially at least, and Mikey and Creed go to the outside! Torch and Krash tie up, and Torch with the fireman's carry... DVD! Krash goes down hard! LT: Krash hauled up by Torch and he tags out to Mikey, who climbs the top rope as Torch sets up a piledriver... MIKEY SPIKES IT! Krash rolls to the side, clutching his head in agony! NR: Mikey in now, he shoves Krash to the corner and unloads a huge knife-edge chop! [THWACK! WHOO!] And another! [THWACK! WHOO!] A third! [THWACK! WHOO!] LT: Krash grabs him, throws him in the corner and now Krash with rapid chops of his own! [THWACK! WHOO!] [THWACK! WHOO!] [THWACK! WHOO!] He's going to town on Violent! NR: Krash takes Mikey and slams his head into the turnbuckle right next to Creed, then tags out, and Avalanche set up Violent for a double team suplex! [POP] What a maneuver! Mikey is out on the canvas! LT: Creed executes a running elbowdrop onto the larynx of Violent and then applies a lateral press of a cover! ONE! TW-- kick out! Too early! NR: Mikey is to his feet and whipped to the ropes, he ducks a clothesline, on the return, he slides under Creed and comes up behind him, SNAP GERMAN SUPLEX! Both men are down! LT: And both men looking to make the tag... Creed tags out to Krash, and Krash goes for Mikey, bu Mikey makes the desperate tag to a fired-up Torch! AF: Ooo, lovely pun. NR: And Torch is more than ready! He knocks Krash for a loop with a heavy lariat! He decks Creed with a hard right hand! Krash on the return and he gets a HARD side slam! Creed charges Torch and gets a powerslam! LT: Krash is staggering over and Torch kicks him in the stomach, this could be... [HUGE POP] THE NAPALM BOMB! IT'S OVER! ONE! TWO!! THREE!!! TORCH GOES OUT IN A BLAZE OF GLORY! [Before Mike Jackson announces the winner, Torch motions to the back. Flare walks out with the Hardcore Title over his shoulder and Violent Inc. hold their hands high in the air, a victory motion. Flare grabs a mic.] Flare: DJ, I was supposed to wrestle you, but I'm going. So come on out here, I'll hand it to you. [Lowery appears and walks down the aisle, with a grin on his face as he rolls in. Flare looks to the Hardcore Title, as DJ looks somewhat impatient as to receiving it.] Flare: DJ... you want me to hand over the title, right? [Lowery nods, looking annoyed.] Flare: Well... I never said I'd hand the belt to you. I said I'd hand "it" to you. And "it" just happens to be... YOUR WORTHLESS ASS! [Flare smashes DJ in the face with the microphone, then takes a chair that was handed to him by Torch. As DJ gets up, Flare swings the chair at an amazing speed, denting it against his skull. Then, Flare holds the chair high for the arena to see; it's been bent into close to a ninety-degree angle. With DJ busted open, Flare drops the belt onto his chest.] Flare: Not so great when you get attacked without warning, is it, you little piece of SHIT! ["Edgecrusher" by Fear Factory play as Violent Inc. leave, Torch and Flare not to be seen again... presumably.] |
