A low, mournful keening reaches your ears. You clamp your hands over your ears, crying out, but the sound shoots through your hands and bores into your skull, reverberating over and over... A shudder runs down your spine, for you would know that sound even if you were deaf. It is the dragon's tribute to the dead...
Why do you make the dragons die? Shouldn't they be "abandoned"? On Pern, dragons are NEVER re-Impressed. Humans can re-Impress (although they'd probably go insane) but dragons canNOT. When a dragon's rider dies, it suicides between. If dragons could be "abandoned," boy, would Anne McCaffery have a flaw in her Impression system... Also, if I catch you asking for someone else to take your dragon... let's just say I will be displeased. And you'll make Miki sad. And you better hope I don't know your e-mail, which I most likely will...
Middle Weyr: The Weyr of Dead Dragons is not a pleasant title. >_<
