Shevlin Hall
Entrance to Shevlin Hall, one of the buildings around the Knoll Area. This area of campus is where many of the education and psychology departments, classes, and offices are located. It is also the area that the territory of Minnesota set aside to found the U of M in 1851. Most of the original buildings burnt down, as Old Main did, or were torn down. The oldest building still standing is Eddy Hall, located down the street from Shevlin Hall. Once home to the women's student union(?). |
This plaque in front of Shevlin Hall marks the spot of where Old Main stood. |
Pattee Hall
Another old building. |
