Prayer of
Love by Niyena... I pray that
I no longer seek for the other one for I have found
completion in me. And if in my solitary journey, I happen
to join with another soul, let our hearts merge because
we have so much love to give... And if we find ourselves
taking, let our receiving be based on what we have truly
earned for those are the rewards that last. Let me
realize that my relationship consistently shows me
dimensions of myself and in discovering more of me I will
automatically see the beauty in another's soul. Let our
expressions bring us much freedom for only in the
unbinding do we find that our souls are bound. Let my
love stem not from love but from like that I may forever
not expect, and instead truly accept, my co-traveler's
humanness and divinity.

Some
useful hints on prayer... Prayer works
best on your mind and body when it's cumulative. Daily
prayer is a good idea, even if you think you have nothing
to pray about. Pray for others as well as for yourself.
This is not simply an admonition not to be selfish;
rather, the force of your actions is too powerful to be
directed inside only. By including those you care about
in your prayers, you are solidifying the bonds between
you.Try not to think consciously; rather, as in
meditation, let the feelings flow inside you. You may
find your prayer moving in a very different direction
from the one you thought you'd take at the beginning of
your practice. Over time, change the organization and
location of your prayer. You don't need a church, a
synagogue, or shrine; your kitchen or the backyard will
do just fine. This online book, Be Your
