Truth
is exact correspondence with reality. Paramahansa
YoganandaQuestion everything until you know who and what
you stand for. Know yourself... Know your soul and your
boundaries. Are you willing to violate your soul for
another? And remember that you also leave a mark or
imprint on the lives of others as you pass through.
It may be a very casual contact or it may be something
deeper but it is still contact. When you lash out at
another living soul, whether it be animal, human or
otherwise... you only hurt yourself, for we are all
connected. When you injure another through your hate or
frustration, your fears and insecurity...you are harming
yourself also. When you lie to others or deny them the
truth, you do it to yourself. What you fear and hate
comes back to you....Don't let the negative control you.
Don't let someone else's destructive path lead you to do
the same. Injury to a soul can only be done by someone
against themselves, and it happens when they deliberately...
and with intent and malice or spite... set out to harm
another. It doesn't matter what the reason for the harm
is. Words spoken thoughtlessly and actions carelessly
carried out do this every day. The other person or
animal, etc...is harmed, which is really not good, but
their soul is not injured. Confused?
