Installation of MUD Mage

MUD Mage is easy to install. The installation procedure is the same for the shareware and registered versions.

  1. Make sure you have the file "mudmage5.zip".
  2. Unzip mudmage5.zip to the directory or folder of your choice using PKUNZIP, WinZip, or some other unzipping utility.
  3. You will have two files:
    • mudmage5.exe
    • mudmage.hlp
  4. Run MUD Mage. This will cause a "mudmage.ini" to appear under your WINDOWS directory or folder. It holds the file name of the last character configuration used by MUD Mage.
