There are several different types of negative entities that interfere with, harass and scare human beings on this planet. The most common and probably least understood is the earth bound spirit.
When a person dies, their spirit or soul usually goes into the light and on to the other side. Sometimes friends or relatives that have already crossed over to the other side are there to meet the newly departed spirit at death. This is to make sure that they come into the light rather than wonder the earth planes.
There are many reasons why a person does not go into the light at death.
Sometimes a relative will stay around loved
ones just because they care about and want to be with a husband,
wife, child or grandchild. This type of earth bound entity usually
is not harmful. They will sometimes let you know that they are
present by a fragrance or a touch or some other small thing that
makes you think of them. Sometimes a picture will be moved or small
objects will be rearranged on a table or
mantel. In some instances these contacts will be made by a person that
has crossed over to the
other side just to let you know that they
are still thinking of you and are still a part of your life.
If a person is very attached to a particular house, building, hill or valley etc. they will sometimes wish to remain at this location even after death. Sometimes this person will continue living at this location. Much of the time there is no conflict, however some of these people will resent strangers invading their place. In this situation the spirit may cause minor problems. Lights may be turned off or on, doors may be opened or closed.
These happenings do upset people, some will put up with it, others will be scared and move out. Minor irritations are not always the case, a spirit may be extremely upset by strangers living in his or her house etc. In these situations more severe measures are taken. Objects broken, kitchen utensils or other objects are sometimes hurled at or near people. The residents are sometimes attacked physically by bites, scratches or pains. These situations are referred to as hauntings, either violent or nonviolent.
When a person dies suddenly, or is on medication that reduces their awareness, they do not always know that they have died. I know that this sounds rather strange, but it does happen. This person may see the light or friends and relatives that have passed on, but choose to ignore it, not comprehending the situation. The unaware dead person may continue going to work, coming home and doing just what they have done for years. They probably wonder why people seem to ignore them, but they continue their life not knowing that they can not be seen or heard. Some soldiers continue fighting wars long after living people have signed treaties and gone home.
The people that do not believe in life after death usually have some problems after their death. Imagine living your life thinking that when you die, you just cease to exist, much like a summer flower. Then, your body dies and you are still awake, alert, and wondering where you go from here. You may or may not see a white light or friends and relatives that have died in the past. Depending on how you have lived your life, you would probably either be very scared or very relieved. If you had been a person who was nasty and mean to other people most of your life, you might want to get away from what could be judgement and a very uncomfortable eternity. Spending decades or centuries wondering the earth planes would seem to be much better in comparison.
When people die they do not suddenly become intelligent or nice. They continue being the same person that they always were. There is one big difference, they are much harder to deal with. You can not have them arrested, fired or dealt with in our court system. You can not make them leave you alone through normal channels. Think of some of the really mean and nasty people that you know. Now imagine that the police and courts could not touch them no matter what they did. Kind of scary, isn't it? That is very close to what the situation is with earth bound entities. These entities, for the most part, have no fear. If you try to discuss hearing voices telling you to do or say mean, nasty or immoral things, your friends will usually think you are strange or crazy. Your friends will normally see less of you if you persist with this discussion. The average person is told throughout his or her life that there are no such things as ghosts, that witchcraft curses and spells are just wishful thinking and that these things do not work if you are smart enough to ignore them. Guess again.
Thousands of people all over the world understand how these things work. What used to be common knowledge in our country is now laughed at and made fun of. Exorcisms used to be a very common occurrence in this country and all over the civilized world. Things have changed, if you can not see it under a microscope, it does not exist. I repeat, guess again. You may try praying to get rid of negative entities, this works in some cases. In other cases exorcisms may be the only answer. Only you can make that decision.
I have not mentioned demons up to this point. Demons are real, but are a small percent of the problem. There is an increase in voodoo practice, witchcraft and satanic cults, but they are still a small percent of the problem. A true exorcism can only be performed when the person really wants to get the spirit out otherwise it can be hopeless.
