KV Mechelen (Belgium) and after that he became coach at Swiss Servette. Shortly after this experience he became trainer at Zamalek in Egypt for 1.5 year, a national record, before he became national coach of the Egyptian Olympic team. His next club became Al Wahda (United Arab Emirates) where he was trainer for a short term.
