Former Dutch cap-recordholder Ruud Krol, former Ajax, Napoli and Cannes-defender has become a good advisor and trainer / coach.

His first club as a trainer was KV Mechelen (Belgium) and after that he became coach at Swiss Servette. Shortly after this experience he became trainer at Zamalek in Egypt for 1.5 year, a national record, before he became national coach of the Egyptian Olympic team. His next club became Al Wahda (United Arab Emirates) where he was trainer for a short term. In 1999 he was asked to become technical advisor at SK Beveren (Belgium).
