Minako is a very kind and understanding person. She cares a lot about her friends and is always trying to be a happy light around them. She attends a different school than Usagi, Ami, and Makoto until the fourth season, Pretty Solider Sailor Moon Super S. Artemis is her cat who guides and watches over her. She is always that person who you can count on for reassurance. She is also very physically fit for she is an excellent volleyball player. She also loves to play video games, especially F-1 Racing, at the "Crown Game Center". Though she is a great at Racing in Video Games, Haruka actually beat her. Her and Usagi are very much alike: they love attractive boys, play alot of video games, enjoy eating, are usually late for school, and don't get the best grades. They also both mistook Haruka for man. The two also provide lots of friendship and support for each other..

  Before she met the other Sailor Soldiers, Minako was the superhero Sailor V, not Sailor Venus. She fought against crime and evil monsters from the Dark Kingdom before Sailor Moon was reborn from Usagi. She had also become a media star. She had movies about her and even had her own video game. Usagi admired her very, much even after she became a loyal Sailor Soldier.

  Sailor Venus has strong overall qualities based on her powers, speed, and bravery. In battle, she is persistant and does not give up hope. Her first two attacks in the Saga are based on her old abilities as the superhero Sailor V. But her last two attacks are based on her being the soldier of love and beauty, Sailor Venus. She was introduced to the Sailor Soldiers when she rescued them from Kunzite and Zoisite's trap in the first season. She then met them the next day at a Meeting at Rei's shrine in her human form, Minako.

Other Facts: In the Japanese Version, Minako lived in Japan, then moved to England. In England, she fought as the superhero Sailor V, and when she moved back to Japan, she joined the Sailor Soldiers as Sailor Venus. So in fact, she was actually the first Sailor Soldier, not Sailor Moon.

In Roman Mythology, Venus was a gorgeous lady who was the goddess of romance and beauty. In Greek Mythology, she was known as Aphrodite. Because of this, Sailor Venus also has the power over love and beauty.

Venus Power, Make Up:
Minako transforms into Sailor Venus after she says these words.

Crescent Beam:
Sailor Venus says this to create two crescent-moons above her head. She touches them with her index finger and then pulses the energy out through her finger towards an enemy.



Sailor Moon "R" (Second Season)

Crescent Beam Shower:
This attack is the similar 'Crescent Beam', except the beam splits into tiny fragments which makes the enemy more vulnerable and have less of a chance to block the attack.

Venus Star Power, Make Up:
Minako says this to transform into Sailor Venus

Venus Love Me Chain:
Sailor Venus says this to create a chain around her. She then directs this towards an enemy which attacks them.



Sailor Moon "Super S" (Fourth Season)

Venus Crystal Power, Make Up:
Minako transforms into Super Sailor Venus after saying this

Venus Love and Beauty Shock:
Super Sailor Venus casts her energy then compacts it into her lips. She then kisses her hand, revealing a heart of her energy. She then multiplies this around her and presses it back into one and launches it toward her target.
