AOL Users
First, make sure your Windows Settings are at High Color (16-bit Color) and 800 X 600 Pixels Resolution. And, switch your Graphics Settings to "Uncompresed Graphics." To do this, go into "My AOL", then "Preferences", then the Web Icon (WWW), then click on the "Graphics" tab, and make sure the "Compressed Graphics" box is not checked.

Also, try to make sure the default font being displayed is size 10 "arial" font, and that the window displaying the Web Browser in AOL is maximized. To Maximize the Window, click the middle button in the top right corner of the Web Browser when it displays a square.

Microsoft Internet Explorer Users
First, make sure your Windows Settings are at High Color (16-bit Color) and 800 X 600 Pixels Resolution. Also, make sure the default font is size 10 "arial" font. To change the size, set the font to its lowest possible size that the browser gives you. Then click on the Font button twice. This should give you the correct font.

Also make sure the window displaying the Web Browser is maximized. To Maximize the Window, click the middle button in the top right corner of the Web Browser when it displays a square.

MULTIMEDIA REQUIREMENTS :

Zip Files
Many of the multimedia files that are available for downloading are .zip files. If you are confused about this and cannot view these files, don't worry. All you need to do is to go to www.winzip.com and download WinZip. With WinZip, you will be albe to "un-zip" the .zip files and will be able to view the file inside.

Media Player
All of the MIDI/music files (.mid files) cannot be heard when downloaded without Windows Media Player. To download Media Player, go to www.microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer/ (Windows is required). Media Player can also be used to open .wav files, .mpeg files, .avi files, and .mov files.
