Yaten appears to be the most handsome out of all the members of the Three Lights. Yaten appears to be very rude and conceited at first. But he is actually very charming and caring. He was very kind to Luna when they first met, and Luna developed a crush on him. Yaten hates being famous. But he knows that he must be famous in order to find Princess Kakyuu. Also, Yaten is very devoted to the mission, even though it seems as if he doubts that the Starlights will complete their task in time. He doesn't want Usagi to be near Seiya for he fears that she will distract Seiya from their quest. So though he may appear to be cold-hearted, Yaten is truly dedicated to the Star Lights' objectives.

  When Yaten is Sailor Star Healer, she still possesses the same devotion to her mission. She will stop at nothing to complete their task and doesn't want any interference at all. Which is why she doesn't want to work with the Sailor Soldiers and doesn't want Usagi/Sailor Moon to be near Seiya. In time, Sailor Star Fighter proves to Healer and Maker that Usagi/Sailor Moon is a good person and will help them in their quest. During the fight with Galaxia, Healer and Maker build a strong bond of friendship with Sailor Moon and try to protect her at all costs, even if it means their own death.
