A KINGDOM PHILOSOPHY 3/31/03
OR MEET YOU AT THE BOTTOM
Hebrews 12:25-29 (MsgB)
So don't
turn a deaf ear to these gracious words. If those who ignored earthly warnings
didn't get away with it, what will happen to us if we turn our backs on
heavenly warnings? [26] His voice that time shook the earth to its foundations;
this time-he's told us this quite plainly-he'll also rock the heavens:
"One last shaking, from top to bottom, stem to stern." [27] The
phrase "one last shaking" means a thorough housecleaning, getting rid
of all the historical and religious junk so that the unshakable essentials
stand clear and uncluttered. [28] Do
you see what we've got? An unshakable kingdom! And do you see how thankful we
must be? Not only thankful, but brimming with worship, deeply reverent before
God. For God is not an indifferent bystander. [29] He's actively cleaning
house, torching all that needs to burn, and he won't quit until it's all
cleansed. God himself is Fire!
HERE
IN HEBREWS WE ARE TOLD THAT GOD IS GOING TO SHAKE THE HEAVEN AND THE
EARTH. WHOSE DOING THE SHAKING? IT SAYS THAT GOD IS GOING TO SHAKE THE
HEAVENS AND THE EARTH. ANYTHING THAT CAN WITHSTAND HIS SHAKING WILL REMAIN. HE
ALSO TELLS US THAT WE HAVE RECEIVED A KINGDOM THAT CANNOT BE SHAKEN. SO IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN THAT PART OF YOUR
LIFE WHICH IS CONFORMED TO THE PRINCIPLES OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD WILL ENDURE ANY
SHAKING. THE NEXT THING WE NEED TO SEE
IS THAT THE SHAKING HAS A PURPOSE. IT
IS GOD’S WAY TO REVEAL TO US WHAT IS IN OUR BUSINESSES, OUR MARRIAGES, OUR
LIVES, OUR INTEGRITY AND MORALS THAT IS NOT FOUNDED UPON HIM. SO OCCASIONALLY IN LIFE WE GO THROUGH SOME
AGITATION AND TRIBULATION, SOME SHAKING OR JUST A BAD HAIR DAY. ANYONE EVER BEEN THERE? JESUS SAID, IN THIS WORLD YOU WILL HAVE
TRIBULATION EVEN IF YOU’RE A GOOD CHRISTIAN. BUT WHATEVER CAN WITHSTAND THE
SHAKING THAT WAS BUILT UPON THE ROCK OF GOD’S WORD WILL ALWAYS STAND THE TEST
OF TIME AND THE TEST OF GOD’S SHAKING SO WE DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT. SO WHEN WE SEE A LOT OF STUFF FALLING DOWN
IT IS REALLY AN INDICATOR OF HOW ROTTEN THE WHOLE STRUCTURE WAS AND THAT THERE
WASN’T MUCH OF GOD IN IT. SO WHEN
NATIONS GO THROUGH SHAKINGS AND POLITICAL SYSTEMS GO THROUGH SHAKING, WHEN
FINANCIAL SYSTEMS ARE SHAKEN ITS GOD SOVERIGNLY DOING THE AGITATING. HE’S SHAKING US TO DETERMINE WHAT IN US DOES
NOT HAVE A KINGDOM FOUNDATION.
Matthew 7:21-27 (MsgB)
"Knowing the correct password-saying 'Master, Master,' for
instance-isn't going to get you anywhere with me. What is required is serious
obedience-doing what my Father wills. [22] I can see it now-at the Final
Judgment thousands strutting up to me and saying, 'Master, we preached the
Message, we bashed the demons, our God-sponsored projects had everyone talking.'
[23] And do you know what I am going to say? 'You missed the boat. All you did
was use me to make yourselves important. You don't impress me one bit. You're
out of here.' [24] "These words I
speak to you are not incidental additions to your life, homeowner improvements
to your standard of living. They are foundational words, words to build a life
on. If you work these words into your life, you are like a smart carpenter who
built his house on solid rock. [25] Rain poured down, the river flooded, a
tornado hit-but nothing moved that house. It was fixed to the rock.
[26]
"But if you just use my words in Bible studies and don't work them into
your life, you are like a stupid carpenter who built his house on the sandy
beach. [27] When a storm rolled in and the waves came up, it collapsed like a
house of cards."
IN
THIS LITTLE PARABLE WE SEE A WISE MAN AND A FOOLISH MAN. THE WISE MAN BUILT HIS HOUSE ON A GOOD
FOUNDATION AND THE FOOL DIDN’T. WHAT IS
REALLY INTERESTING HERE IS THAT THE SHAKING OF THE STORMS OF LIFE CAME TO BOTH
MEN. ONE HOUSE STOOD AND THE OTHER
FELL. JESUS SAID THE SECRET WAS IN WHAT
YOU COULDN’T SEE, THE FOUNDATION, NOT IN HOW IT LOOKED OUTWARDLY. JESUS SAID, HE WHO HEARS MY WORDS AND
IMPLEMENTS IT IN THEIR LIFE IS LIKE THE WISE MAN WHO BUILT HIS HOUSE ON THE
ROCK. THE MAN WHO LIVES BY THE KINGDOM
PRINCLICPLES OF GOD’S WORD WILL BE THE WISE MAN. THE STORMS WILL COME EVEN TO HIM. BUT WHEN THE SHAKING IS FINISHED HE WILL STILL BE LEFT STANDING.
John 1:1
In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…. 14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the
glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

After this
manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
[10] Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
NOTICE
THE MOVEMENT HERE: THE KINGDOM COME IN THE EARTH EVEN AS IT IS DONE IN HEAVEN:
THE WILL OF GOD IN HEAVEN BE DONE ON EARTH.
NOW THAT’S A FAR CRY FROM WHAT MOST OF US WERE RAISED IN BECAUSE WE WERE
TAUGHT THAT WE WERE LEAVING. WE WERE
TAUGHT TO ESCAPE! MY7 END TIME
ESCHCOLTOLOGY IS THIS: WHEN HE COMES WE GO, UNTIL HE COMES WE OCCUPY AND DO HIS
WILL ON EARTH AND FINISH THE WORK THAT HE HAS CALLED US TO DO. WE ALL WANT TO GET OUT OF THE EARTH THAT GOD
WANT TO GET INTO. SO WE HAVE A REAL
PROBLEM HERE. THAT’S WHY THE CHURCH HAS
LOST RELEVANCY, ITS BECOME SECTARIAN AND ISOLATED, AND MEASURES ITSELF BY
ITSELF AND IS CUT OFF FROM THE WORLD FOR FEAR OF CONTAMINATION AND IS OF NO
REAL VALUE TO THE WORLD. ITS NOT THAT
WE COULDN’T BE BUT THAT WE HAVE LOST OUR VISION. YOU SEE, ITS NOT THAT WE COULD BE RELEVANT BUT WE HAVE LOST THE
VISION FOR WHY WE ARE HERE. WE THINK
WE’RE HERE FOR US, BUT WE’RE ON A MISSION AND I’M GONNA PROVE IT TO YOU THIS
MORNING AS WE TRY TO GRASP THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE KINGDOM.
JESUS
TAUGHT US TO PRAY THIS WAY: YOU KINGDOM COME INTO THIS EARTH AS IT IS IN
HEAVEN. THY WILL BE DONE IN EARTH EVEN
AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. I DON’T KNOW ABOUT
YOU BUT I DON’T LIVE IN HEAVEN, I LIVE ON EARTH. I WANT SOME OF HEAVEN ON EARTH THAT’S WHERE I NEED IT. I DON’T NEED IT IN HEAVEN BECAUSE THERE’S NO
SICKNESS, NO PAIN, NO TEMPTATION, NO CANCER, NO MONEY PROBLEMS IN HEAVEN. I DON’T HAVE ANY TROUBLE IN HEAVEN, I GOT
ALL MY TROUBLE ON EARTH, NOW AND THIS IS WHERE WE NEED THE HELP!
YOU
SEE WHAT WE NEED IS A NEW PARADIGM, A NEWWAY OF LOOKING AT THE KINGDOME OF
GOD. WE NEED A NEW KINGDOM PHILOSOPHY
THAT WILL TAKE SHAKINGS AND UNDERSTAND IT IN A CONTEXT THAT IS BIBLICAL. WE
NEED TO SEE THAT THE KINGDOM IS NOT SOME PLACE WE ARE GOING TO BUT ITS AN
INVASION OF THE SPIRIT INTO THE MATERIAL REALM. IT’S THE WORD MADE FLESH AND DWELT ON EARTH AMONGST US. IT’S THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN MOVING INTO THE
EARTH. IT’S THE WILL OF GOD IN HEAVEN
BEING DONE ON EARTH. THY KINGDOM COME,
THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH EVEN AT IT IS DONE IN HEAVEN. WE ARE TOLD TO PRAY FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD
TO COME TO THIS EARTH.
NOW
HE IS THE FIRST PRINCIPLE OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD. THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WHERE THE WILL OF GOD IS DONE ON THE EARTH. ITS WHERE
THE WILL OF A KING IS DONE; THAT’S HIS REIGN AND RULE. SO PRAY FOR THE WILL OF GOD TO COME DOWN
FORM HEAVEN ONTO THIS EARTH. AND HOW
WILL YOU KNOW WHEN IT GETS HERE?
BECAUSE IT WILL BE THE PERFECT WILL OF GOD. NOW LET ME ASK YOU THIS QUESTION: IS THE WILL OF GOD BEING DONE ALL THE TIME IN HEAVEN? THIS IS NOT A TRICK QUESTION, ITS AN OPEN
BOOK TEST. YES! THERE IS NO REBELLION IN HEAVEN, NO DARKENSS
IN HEAVEN AND NO DISOBEDIENCE. JUST
LOOK WHERE THAT GOD LUCIFIER, HE WAS THROWN OUT OF HEAVEN BECAUSE THERE WAS NO
COMPATIBLE PLACE FOR HIM IN HEAVEN.
THERE’S NO MURDER IN HEAVEN, THERE NO BIGOTRY, THERE’S NO MASS WEAPONS
OF DESTRUCTION BEING MADE, NO CHECMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL WARFARE IN HEAVEN! AND NOBODY HATES ANYBODY IN HEAVEN! THE TROUBLE IS WE DON’T LIVE IN HEAVEN WE
LIVE ON THE EARTH. WHAT WE NEED ON EARTH IS WHAT IS IN HEAVEN AND THAT’S WHY
JESUS TOLD US TO PRAY: THY KINGDOM COME THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH EVEN AS IT IS
DONE IN HEAVEN. THE WILL OF GOD IS NOT
PRESENTLY BE DONE PERFECTLY ON EARTH BUT MY PHILOSOPHY IS: IT’S COMING. ITS NOT THAT I’M GOING. YOU SEE MOST CHRISTIANS THINK THAT THE
KINGDOM OF GOD IS UP THERE SOME WHERE. AND THAT GOD IS UP THERE AND SOME DAY I
WILL GO TO IT. NOW LISTEN TO JESUS IN
JN.17:
John 17:13-18
13 "And now I am coming to you. I have told
them many
things
while I was with them so that they would be filled with my joy.
14 I have given them your commands. And the world
hates them because they don't fit in with it, just as I don't. 15 I'm not
asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from Satan's
power. 16 They are not part of this world any more than I am. 17 Make them pure
and holy through teaching them your words of truth. 18 As you sent me into the
world, I am sending them into the world,
SO
WE SEE FROM HERE THAT IT IS PRETTY OBVIOUS THAT JESUS WANTED US IN THIS WORLD
TO SERVE SOME PURPOSE UNTIL OUR LIFE IS FINSIHED. NOW GOD’S WILL IS PERFECTLY REVEALED IN JESUS CHRIST. SO JESUS COMES DOWN FROM HEAVEN AS THE WORD
MADE FLESH. IT’S GOD IN THE FLESH
COMING INTO THE EARTH AND WHEN HE COMES DOWN ON THE SCENE HE BRINGS THE KINGDOM
WITH HIM. THAT’S WHY JOHN THE BAPTIST
WHEN HE SAW HIM COMING SAID REPENT OR CHANGE YOU MIND FOR THE KINGDOM IS AT
HAND. WHEREVER JESUS WENT THE WILL OF
GOD WAS BEING DONE AND THE KINGDOM WAS IN MANIFESTATION IN THE EARTH. HE SAID DURING HIS EARTHLY MINISTRY THAT THE
KINGDOM OF GOD IS COME UPON YOU AND HE HEALED THE SICK AND RAISED THE DEAD.

From
there he went all over Galilee. He used synagogues for meeting places and
taught people the truth of God. God's kingdom was his theme-that beginning
right now they were under God's government, a good government! He also healed
people of their diseases and of the bad effects of their bad lives. [24] Word
got around the entire Roman province of Syria. People brought anybody with an
ailment, whether mental, emotional, or physical. Jesus healed them, one and
all. [25] More and more people came, the momentum gathering. Besides those from
Galilee, crowds came from the "Ten Towns" across the lake, others up
from Jerusalem and Judea, still others from across the Jordan.

Next a
poor demon-afflicted wretch, both blind and deaf, was set down before him.
Jesus healed him, gave him his sight and hearing. [23] The people who saw it
were impressed-"This has to be the Son of David!" [24] But the
Pharisees, when they heard the report, were cynical. "Black magic,"
they said. "Some devil trick he's pulled from his sleeve." [25] Jesus
confronted their slander. "A judge who gives opposite verdicts on the same
person cancels himself out; a family that's in a constant squabble disintegrates;
[26] if Satan banishes Satan, is there any Satan left? [27] If you're slinging
devil mud at me, calling me a devil kicking out devils, doesn't the same mud
stick to your own exorcists? [28] "But if it's by God's power that I am
sending the evil spirits packing, then God's kingdom is here for sure. [29]
How in the world do you think it's possible in broad daylight to enter the
house of an awake, able-bodied man and walk off with his possessions unless you
tie him up first? Tie him up, though, and you can clean him out. [30]
"This is war, and there is no neutral ground. If you're not on my side,
you're the enemy; if you're not helping, you're making things worse.

But he
that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. [14] And this gospel
of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall the end come.
SO
WE SEE THAT GOD’S WILL IS BEING DONE PERFECTLY ON EARTH DURING CHRIST’S EARTHLY
MINISTRY. HE BRINGS THE KINGDOM WITH
HIM AND IT HAS INVADED THIS EARTHLY KINDOM WHICH BELONGS TO THE GOD OF THIS
WORLD’S SYSTEM. YOU SEE, IT WASN’T THE
PEOPLE GOING UP TO HIM IT WAS HIM COMING DOWN TO WHERE THE PEOPLE LIVED AND
WORKED.
Hebrews 10:7-10 (KJV)
Then
said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy
will, O God. [8] Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings
and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which
are offered by the law; [9] Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He
taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. [10] By the which will
we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for
all.
JESUS
WAS SAYING HERE THAT HE WAS WILLING TO COME ON THE EARTH SO THAT HE COULD BRING
THE WILL OF GOD AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD INTO THIS EARTH. SO GOD PREPARED JESUS A BODY SO THAT HE
COULD LEAVE HEAVEN AND COME TO THE EARTH AND DO GOD’S PERFECT WILL.
DEVELOPING
A KINGDOM PHILOSOPHY IS UNDERSTANDING THAT THE KINGDOM IS COMING OUR WAY. THIS DIRECTION OR MOVEMENT IS CRITICAL
BECAUSE GOD’S NOT TRYING TO GET YOU TO HEAVEN, HE WANTS A MANY MEMBERED BODY TO
FILL HIS WILL ON THIS EARTH. WHEN HIS
WILL IS DONE HIS KINGDOM IS COME ON THIS EARTH EVEN AS IT IS DONE IN
HEAVEN. LISTEN, I’M GOING TO HEAVEN
WHEN I DIE AND WHEN MY PURPOSE ON EARTH HAS COME BEEN FULFILLED. HEAVEN IS FULL OF CHRISTIAN WHO HAVE DIED. I’M NOT DEAD YET, SOME OF YOU I’M WORRIED
ABOUT BUT I BELIEVE IN YOU THAT YOU’RE GONNA MAKE IT. LISTEN, IT’S GOD’S PURPOSE TO GET HEAVEN INTO YOU WHILE YOU ARE
LIVING ON THIS EARTH. WHENEVER THAT
HAPPENS HIS KINGDOM IS BEING ESTABLISHED IN THE EARTH.
GOD
WANTS TO BRING THE KINGDOM OF GOD DOWN TO YOU AND I SO THAT WE CAN EXPRESS THE
WILL OF GOD ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
NOW BACK IN THE EARLY DAYS OF CHURCH HISTORY THE GREEKS AND THE GNOSTICS
BELIEVED THAT EVERYTHING THAT WAS PHYSICAL WAS EVIL. SO OUR PHYSICAL BODIES WERE EVIL BECAUSE THEY CONSISTED OF
PHYSICAL MATTER. BUT WHAT WE NEED TO
SEE IS THAT OUR PHYSICAL BODIES WERE FASHIONED AFTER THE IMAGE OF GOD AND THAT
NOT ALL FLESH IS EVIL. IN FACT THE ONLY
PART OF OUR FLESH THAT IS EVIL IS THE ADAMIC OR SINFUL NATURE. WE ARE SIMPLY A BODY, A CONTAINER THROUGH
WHICH WORKS OF OBEDIENCE OR DISOBEDIENCE CAN COME. SO THE CHURCH IS CRYING, “GOD, ONE DAY WE WILL SEE YOU AT THE
TOP!” GOD IS SAYING, “NO, I’LL MEET YOU
AT THE BOTTOM.” THE EXAMPLE IS GIVEN
THROUGH HIS SON WHO BECAME FLESH AND DWELT AMONGST US. YOU’VE GOT TO SEE THAT BECAUSE IT WILL
AFFECT YOUR LIFE, YOUR CAREER AND YOUR CHURCH.
YOU KNOW, I AM AMAZED AT HOW MANY CHRISTIANS HATE THIS LIFE, THEY HATE
THIS WORLD, THEY HATE ANY AND EVERYTHING.
THEY HATE ENTERTAINMENT, THEY HATE THE MEDIA, THEY HATE POLITICS,
SCHOOL, EDUCATION SO THEY SIT AROUND AND SING ONE DAY I’LL FLY WAY. MEAN WHILE WHAT HAPPENS? WE LOOSE EVERYTHING ON THE EARTH. WE GIVE IT ALL UP TO THE KINGDOM OF THIS
WORLD. THEY HAVE NO EXPECTATION
WHATSOEVER. BUT GOD SAYS I WANT THE
WORD MADE FLESH. I WANT THE KINGDOM OF
HEAVEN TO COME INTO THIS EARTH. NOW THE
MOVEMENT IN THE N.T. IS FROM HEAVEN TO THE EARTH, FROM THE SPIRIT INTO THE
NATURAL. JESUS INVADED THE NATURAL
ORDER, HE CAME DOWN ON EARTH AND WHEREVER HE WENT THE WILL OF GOD WAS WITH HIM
AND HE DID IT. HE TURNED THE WORLD
UPSIDE DOWN WITH A KINGDOM PHILOSOPHY THAT SAYS: I’LL MEET YOU AT THE BOTTOM
WHERE THE SCUM, POLLUTION AND SIN CONTAMINATED PEOPLE LIVED AND DWELT. NOW HERE’S WHAT HE TOLD HIS DISCIPLES IN:
John 14:11-14 (MsgB)
"Believe me: I am in my Father and my Father is in me. If you can't
believe that, believe what you see-these works. [12] The person who trusts
me will not only do what I'm doing but even greater things, because I, on
my way to the Father, am giving you the same work to do that I've been doing.
You can count on it. [13] From now on, whatever you request along the lines of
who I am and what I am doing, I'll do it. That's how the Father will be seen
for who he is in the Son. I mean it. [14] Whatever you request in this way,
I'll do.
HERE
JESUS IS TELLING HIS DISCIPLES THAT THEY HAVE SEEN HIM FUNCTION IN A KINGDOM
MINISTRY IN THE EARTH AND THEY WERE TO FOLLOW IN HIS PLACE WHEN HE LEFT THIS
WORLD. HE SAID “GREATER WORKS THAN
THESE SHALL YOU DO.” WHAT THAT REALLY
MEANS IS MANY WORKS BEING DONE THROUGH PEOPLE WHO SUBMITTED TO THE WILL OF GOD
BEING DONE IN AND THROUGH THEIR LIVES WHILE ON THIS EARTH. WHEN THE WILL OF GOD IS BEING DONE THE
KINGDOME IS BEING ESTABLISHED IN THE EARTH.
HE WAS ONE PERSON, BUT NOW HE HAS MADE THE WORD FLESH IN THE LIVES OF HIS
BELIEVERS WHO HE CALLS THE BODY OF CHRIST.
THIS BODY IS INDWELT BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD AND WHEREVER THE SPIRIT OF GOD
IS IN MANIFESTATION THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS COME AMONGST YOU. THE KINGDOM OF GOD HAS INVADED THIS PRESENT
EVIL AGE THROUGH THE INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OF THE BODY OF CHRIST. LET’S STOP PRAYING FOR HIM TO TAKE US OUT
AND START PRAYING AND IMPLEMENTING HIS WILL ON THE EARTH. WE GOT OUR PRIORITIES ALL WRONG. ITS NOT ABOUT US AND OUR COMFORT ZONES ITS
ABOUT DEVELOPING A KINGDOM PHILOSOPHY THAT SAYS I’LL MEET YOU AT THE BOTTOM.
WHEREVER
THERE WAS BIGOTRY OF ANY KIND JESUS MET IT HEAD ON AND TALKED WITH THE WOMEN BY
THE WELL AND TOLD HER ABOUT THE TRUE WORSHIPPERS AND MINISTERED LIFE TO
HER. JESUS BROKE DOWN THE BARRIERS OF
INCURABLE DISEASES BY REACHING OUT AND TOUCHING THE LEPERS. THE SCRIBES AND THE PHARISEES WOULDN’T DO
THAT. THE RELIGIOUS LEADERS WOULDN’T DO
THAT. HE CAME DOWN TO WHERE THE PEOPLE
WERE AT AND CROSSED DENOMINATIONAL LINE WHEN HE MINISTERED TO THE
SAMARATINS. HE CROSSED CURTURAL LINES
AND RACIAL LINES WHEN THE GENTILES GOT SAVED.
HE MET A LAP DANCER AT A GENTLEMEN’S CLUB AND MINISTERED LIFE TO
HER. THAT’S WHAT THE WOMAN WHO WAS
TAKEN IN ADULTRY WAS. WE DON’T WANT TO
COME DOWN TO WHERE PEOPLE ARE. WE WANT
THEM TO CLEAN THEMSELVES UP AND COME UP TO WHERE WE THINK WE ARE. NO!
WE NEED TO BRING THE KINGDOM DOWN TO THEM AND MAKE IT FREE OF CHARGE..
WE NEED TO MEET THEM AT THE BOTTOM, AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BOTTLE, AT THE BOTTOM
OF THEIR MORAL LIVES, AT THE BOTTOM OF THEIR FINANCIAL COLLAPSE, AT THE BOTTOM
OF THEIR MARITIAL DISTRESS. WE NEED TO
DEVELOP A PHILOSOPHY OF THE KINGDOM THAT SAYS “ I’LL MEET YOU ATT THE BOTOM.

How God
anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about
doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with
him.
YOU
SEE, WE WANT THE ANOINTING TO COME AND MAKE US FEEL GOOD AND MAKE ALL OUR
PROBLEMS GO AWAY. LISTEN THE ANOINTING
ISN’T JUST FOR YOU ITS TO ENABLE YOU AND EMPOWER YOU TO MINISTER TO HURTING
PEOPLE WHO CROSS YOU PATH IN LIFE. NOW
LISTEN TO THIS, NOT ONLY DO WE MEET HURTING PEOPLE AT THE BOTTOM BUT WHEN WE
DESIRE TO SEE GOD HEAL THE SICK, RESTORE THE MARRIAGE AND REBUILD THE FINANCIAL
RUIN IN PEOPLES LIVES WE WILL MEET GOD AND HIS ANOINTING AT THE BOTTOM. YOU SEE, JESUS CHRIST, THE ANOINTED ONE DID
ALL THE THINGS WE DON’T WANT TO DO. HE
TOUCHED ALL THE THINGS WE WOULDN’T TOUCH.
HE WAS THE WORD MADE FLESH. HE
CAME DOWN TO THE EARTH AND LITERALLY MINISTERED TO PEOPLE AT THEIR LOWEST POINT
OF NEED. HE TOUCHED THE LEPER AND
HEALED HIM BECAUSE HE WASN’T AFRAID TO MEET HIM AT THE BOTTOM. IN THEOLOGICAL TERMS ITS CALLED THE
VOLUNTARY CONDESCENSION OF CHRIST. HE
CAME DOWN TO US AND WHEN HE DID THE KINGDOM OF GOD INVADED THIS PRESENT
DARKENESS.
Matt 4:16-17
16 The people who sat in darkness have seen a great
light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned." 17 From that time Jesus began to preach and
to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
WHEREVER
JESUS WENT HE CHANGED THE ATMOSPHERE AND THE ENVIORNMENT AROUND HIM. HE WAS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD AND THE PEOPLE
THAT SAT IN DARKNESS WERE CHANGED BECAUSE HE BROUGHT THE KINGDOM DOWN TO THIS
EARTH. HE BROUGHT THE WILL OF GOD WITH
HIM AND WHERE HE WENT THE WILL OF GOD WAS FULFILLED. THOSE WHO DON’T BELIEVE THAT IN THEIR LIVES ARE ALWAYS SHAKEN BY
POLITICAL UPRISINGS, BY RELIGIOUS MOVES
AND PUBLIC SCANDALS. SO THEY ALWAYS SEE
THE SOLUTION AS US LEAVING INSTEAD OF THE KINGDOM COMING INTO THE EARTH THROUGH
OUR DAILY LIVES.
2 Cor 5:16-21
16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly
point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone,
the new has come! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through
Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling
the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he
has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ's
ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on
Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin
for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
HERE
PAUL TELLS US THAT WE ARE THE AMBASSADORS OF CHRIST IN THIS EARTH. NOW WHEREVER AND EMBASY IS IN A FOREIGN
COUNTRY AND YOU ARE VISITING YOU CAN SEEK REFUGE IN THAT EMBASY BECAUSE IT IS
CONSIDERED A PART OF YOUR COUNTRY. IF
I’M IN RUSSIA AND I GO TO THE AMERICAN EMBASY WHEN I ENTER I AM LEGALLY IN
AMERICA. THAT’S WHY POLITICAL REFUGEES
FLEE TO THE EMBASY BECAUSE THEN THEY ARE OFF THE TURF OF THE COUNTRY THEIR
TRYING TO LEAVE. SO I AM AN AMBASSADOR
DISPATCHED BY MY GOVERNMENT THE KINGDOM OF GOD. AS AN AMBASSADOR TO A FOREIGN LAND AN AMBASSADOR CAN ONLY SPEAK
THE WILL OF THE COUNTRY HE REPRESENTS AND THE SAME APPLIES TO US AS THE
AMBASSADORS OF CHRIST. WHENEVER THAT
AMBASSADOR SPEAKS HE HAS THE BACKING OF THE GOVERNMENT HE IS REPRESENTING. THAT’S WHY JESUS SAID THIS IN:
Matt 28:16-20
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to
the
mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When
they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "all
authority in
heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19
Therefore
go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the
name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit,
20 and teaching them to obey everything I have
commanded
you. And surely I am with you always, to the very
end of the age."
SO
AN AMBASSADOR OF OUR COUNTRY IS BACKED BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE UNITED
STATES. WHEN THE KING SENDS US OUT TO
DO HIS WILL AND WORK ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH WE HAVE THE BACKING OF HEAVEN AND
THE RESOURCES OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD. SO
WE’RE NOT SOME LITTLE VICTIM WHO SINGS THE SONG, A FEW MORE FLEGGLING DAYS AND
I’LL FLY WAY. YOU GOT A LOT OF AUTHORITY
BACKING YOU UP AND YOU NEED TO WALK THROUGH LIFE CHANGING THE ATOMOSPHERE
AROUND YOU INSTEAD OF IT CHANGING YOU.
YOU SEE, THE ENEMY OUGHT TO BE TREMBLING WHEREVER WE DECIDE TO DO GOD’S WILL AND HE IS, IF WE’D ONLY RECOGNIZE
IT.
NOW
LET ME SHOW YOU THIS PRINCIPLE OF BRINGING THE KINGDOM OF GOD INTO THE WORLD
AND IT CHANGING THE ENVIORNMENT AROUND YOU.
WE SEE THIS PRINCIPLE IN THE O.T.
Neh 9:9-12
9 "You saw the affliction of our fathers in
Egypt, And heard their cry by the Red Sea. 10 You showed signs and wonders
against Pharaoh, Against all his servants, And against all the people of his
land. For You knew that they acted proudly against them. So You made a name for
Yourself, as it is this day. 11 And You divided the sea before them, So that
they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; And their persecutors
You threw into the deep, As a stone into the mighty waters. 12 Moreover You led
them by day with a cloudy pillar, And by night with a pillar of fire,To give
them light on the road Which they should travel.
THE BIBLE RECORDS FOR US THAT AS THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL WERE MAKING THEIR WAY THROUGH THE DESERT THAT GOD WAS INFACT GOING WITH THEM AS A CLOUDY PILLAR BY DAY AND A FIREY PILLAR BY NIGHT. WHAT DID THAT DO TO THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL. BY DAY THE CLOUD SHIELDED THEM FROM THE INTENSE HEAT OF THE SUNS DESERT RAYS. IN THE SUN IT COULD BE 140 DEGREES BUT IN THE SHADE IT WOULD BE MUCH COOLER. WHAT HAPPENED? THEIR ENVIORNMENT WAS CHANGED BY THE PROVISION OF GOD’S KINGDOM. AT NIGHT THE DESERT IS VERY DARK AND COLD BUT NOT FOR THE ISRAELITES. THEY HAD A FIREY PILLAR FOR WARMTH AND FOR LIGHT. WHAT HAPPENED? THE KINGDOM OF GOD ALTERED THE NATURAL CONDITIONS OF NIGHT TIME DESERT LIFE. THIS SAME PRINCIPLE ALSO WORKS IN YOUR LIFE WHEN YOU ARE DOING GOD’S WILL OR ARE IN THE PROCESS OF DOING IT. WHEN GOD’S WILL IS DONE HIS KINGDOM HAS COME INTO THE EARTH. SO LET’S FACE IT, WE ARE NOT A VICTIM BUT AN AMBASSADOR OF CHRIST. ITS NOT I’LL FLY WAY, BUT NOT MY WILL LORD BUT YOUR’S BE DONE ON EARTH EVEN AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. WE NEED TO DEVELOP A KINGDOM PHILOSOPHY THAT SAYS I’LL MEET YOU AT THE BOTOM AND FULFILL GOD’S WILL AND PURPOSE FOR OUR LIVES WHILE WE ARE HERE IN THIS EARTH. WE’LL FLY AWAY ONE DAY BUT NOT TO ESCAPE BUT BECAUSE WE HAVE CONQUERORED ALL THAT CAN BE CONQUERORED. SO LET’S FOCUS OUR ATTENTION ON THOSE THINGS THAT NEED TO BE SUBDUED TO GOD’S KINGDOM AND GOD’S ORDER HERE ON THIS EARTH AND DO THEM.
