Paul played his first game in the Power's squad this year (2000). The poor guy didn't have too much luck kicking two out of bounds on the full, which cost him his place in the side the next week. I personally look forward to seeing more of Paul on the ground in season 2001!
I first met Paul on July 11 2000 at the Power Pack dance party at Alberton. He was over at the bar with twenty teenies hanging off him, poor guy! I caught him eating a mini pizza and asked for a photo, after a minute or so of chewing he agreed! It's a great photo and I'll post it here when I can find a scanner! He is mighty fine, but Stuart is still the best!
Pick 12 - Paul Koulouriotis (Calder Cannons) 183.5cm, 74kg, 17yrs - wingman Koulouriotis is a wingman with explosive pace and excellent endurance. An attacking player who gained All-Australian honours at the AFL U18's this year with an outstanding game against Victoria Country a highlight. He ran third in Cannons Best and Fairest award and before the draft was tipped by most ‘experts’ to go in the top ten. (Thanks Amy for creating the spiffy pic for me!!)
