The Mighty Warriors improved their season log to 2-0 with a dominating 33-6 win over the LA Baptist Knights at Coy Burnett Field last Friday night.

Warriors Dominate Knights, 33-6
TEHCHAPI – The Warriors found the endzone on their first three offensive possessions and never looked back in a non-league victory over the Knights.
After a six yard run by Adam Mullen and and a six yard catch by Garrett Coontz from Ehren Ochsenrider on Tehachapi’s first two scores, the Warriors’ Alek Taliulu had a 52-yard interception return to the redzone to help set up the Warrior’s third touchdown, an eventual five yard run by Kelly Lorenz.
Garrett Coontz hauled in Tehachapi’s third interception of the night in the fourth quarter. Will Clark capped the turnover with a one-yard run on the Warriors next play on offense.
Overall, Tehachapi’s defense registered five turnovers and forced four punts in the game. Three Tehachapi touchdowns were called back on penalties.
LA Baptist scored on a three yard touchdown catch by Eric Granger from Jimmy Augur in the fourth quarter.
