Head Coach Henry Kossow
Coach Henry Kossow, a graduate of Chico State University, coached two basketball seasons at Tehachapi High. During this World War II era of high school athletics, many schools did not have enough boys, or the traveling budget, to field teams. The fact the Warriors were located in the isolated mountains of Tehachapi did not help matters. Formal league play and valley playoffs were suspended during both of these years. The Warriors did manage to coordinate six game schedules in both 1943-44 and 1944-45.
