Back-to-Back SSL Titles For 47' Warriors

Under second year coach John Goodell, the Tehachapi Warriors captured their second straight South Sierra League championship
by going a perfect 6-0 in league play. The 1946-47 Warriors posted an overall season record of 8-7 (excluding exhibition games)
but played some fierce competition in non-league play.

In the season ending tournament in Lone Pine, the Warriors lost in the championship game to Antelope Valley-Lancaster by one point.
Junior Fred Castro was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
