Over a five year period between 1987 and 1991, Tehachapi and Carpinteria battled each other for CIF sectional championships four times!
Carpinteria High School competes in CIF in the Tri-Valley League as the red-and-white Warriors. The football program holds the CIF record of 66 consecutive league wins without a loss! The program has also captured 6 southern California CIF sectional championships (as of 2007). The Warriors defeated Moorpark High School in 51 consecutive games, ending in 1997, which is a national high school record.
Carpinteria High School is a high school located in Carpinteria, California. Located adjacent to the foothills on the edge of the Carpinteria Valley, it is the only public high school in Carpinteria and serves a student body of approximately 900 students in grades 9-12.
