Warriors versus Mt. Whitney Pioneers
The Warriors and Pioneers met for the first time in a 2022 CIF Central Section Division III
first round playoff game. On the mountain, the Warriors defeated Mt. Whitney, 37-14
Mt. Whitney High School is one of four public high schools in Visalia, CA. (pop. 130,000) and is located in Tulare County.
The high school has just over 1,700 students (2022) and participates in the East Yosemite League
along with Redwood-Visalia, Golden West-Visalia, El Diamante-Visalia, Porterville, and Monache.
Mt. Whitney is located at 900 South Conyer St. in Visalia.
The Pioneers play all of their home football games at Mineral King Bowl located at Mineral King
and Giddings, a few blocks from the campus. Mt. Whitney shares the facility with Redwood High School.
