The JIWF: Shawn Walker made his first appearance in a small independent promotion called the JIWF. Shawn went under the name and gimmick of The Eliminator. Achieving moderate success in the federation, the JIWF soon closed after that leaving Shawn Walker to find another company to join. The EWA: The EWA was Shawn's first big break in the big time. This time going under the name of Sean "The Eliminator" Pihulak. Sean coming from a different spelling of his first name, and Pihulak coming from his actual second cousins last name. But he did not spend much time in this fed however. Shawn would return to the EWA later on as "Too Extreme" Shawn Walker. But do to backstage problems with EWA Owner Tom Stone, Shawn was never really liked or welcome in the EWA and then quit the company. The SWF: Shawn then decided to open and run his own wrestling company called the SWF. After failing to run it successfully twice before, Shawn opened it up for a third time and was quite successful at it. Running the SWF for 11 straight months, it closed up in May of 2000. Competing and staying in the offices of the SWF. if you would like to take a lok at any of the past history of the SWF, such as card results, former champions, Pay Per Views, or Biographies, please check under the Links section of this site to find the SWF link. Other Federations: While Shawn was running the SWF, he was also competing in many other federations. He joined another big name company entitled 420, but again his stay was minimal. He then joined another independent promotion called the UWA in which Shawn won his first ever major title, the UWA Heavyweight Title. Shawn held the title for over a month but then quit to pursue other interests. Shawn then went to yet another big name company in the NHBWF. From there Shawn won the NHBWF hardcore title, but the company closed down shortly after. Walker then joined the eWWa but again he had another short stint due to the closure of the federation. From there it was on to the small company of the IWO, where Shawn quickly won the Intercontinental Title and then left. Walker's last minor appearance was in the small independent promotion of the HWA shortly after SWF had shut down. Walker was merely honing his in ring skills in order to make one last attempt at wrestling stardom. The fact that Shawn never really like the federation and was in constant backstage battles with the owners, Shawn left after just two weeks. The EHWF/SWL: After talking to long time behind the scenes mutual friend Donaven Winters, Shawn Walker had a meeting with EHWF Owner and President Travis Speck. Shawn then signed on with the EHWF, and had said right from the beginning that this would be his last wrestling appearance probably forever, no matter how long the stay or what happened. But even Shawn himself did not know the great success that he was bound for in the EHWF/SWL. Walker quickly became one of the most popular superstars in the EHWF and in just his second match won the EHWF Television Title. From there the EHWF was transformed in to the SWL. Walker held the title through out July and till the end of August when he fought his greatest SWL enemy of all time egg NOG, at SWL's Summer Meltdown in a Double Title Ladder match. Walker ended up losing the SWL Television title, but ended up winning the SWL Intercontinental Title in the process. Sky rocketing him even higher in the company. From there Shawn was bound for his greatest achievement of all time. At Across Enemy Lines, Shawn Walker defeated the SWL legend, The Superstar to win the SWL Heavyweight Title. As it stands right now, Shawn Walker is the fastest rising star in SWL history, and is one of if not the top superstar in the company today. While the SWL rebuilds itself for better times, one can only wonder how much more Shawn Walker can achieve in the company. |
