#LTJ on Undernet
mIRC Is A Chat Program. On One Of The Servers (Undernet), I Run The Channel Named #LTJ. Not Too Many People Know About It Yet, But We Do Have Some Regulars. I Don't Think The Band Knows About It, But I'll Mention It If I See Then At Ska Against Racism In Ames, IA. Once The Channel Gets Registered, We Will Set Up This Part Of The Page For Channel Operators Bio's. By the Way, My Nick Name Is LTJBoy.
Rules
Now Normally, There Would Be No Rules, But We Have To Have Them So Total Chaos Dosen't Happen. Here Are The Commandments
1)Please Don't Beg For Ops. This Will Only Led To A Swift Kick Out the Door
2)Please Don't Be Racist Or Homophobic. This Will Lead to A Kick On the First Offence And A Big Fat Ban On The Second.
3)#LTJ Is NOT A Porn Channel. Please Masturbate Somewhere Else.
4)Please Don't Scroll (repeat). Saying Something One time Is Enough.
5)Don't Harass People
What Is mIRC?
IRC stands for internet relay chat. It is a multi-user chat client allowing people all over the world to chat in an endless number of channels (rooms).
In order to join us at #LTJ, you first must download a program that allows you to connect to IRC. By far the most common program for doing so is mIRC. After downloading the program and installing it on your system, run the mIRC32.exe. Once opened, click the "X" in the corner of the "About mIRC" box so that it doesn't reappear. Now you'll be looking at the mIRC setup window. Type in your Name and E-mail address (type bullshit if you want) into the appropriate blanks, then type a name to be known as on IRC in the "Nickname" field. Beneath that, choose a nickname to use should the first one already be taken. Next, click the "IDENTD" tab(in the same window), type your nick in the "User ID" field and disable both "Enable Identd server" and "Show Identd requests". After that, click on the "Local Info" tab (same window). Don't screw with the first two blanks, but make sure "Local Host" is checked and the "Normal" radio button is filled in. Then, click back to the "IRC Servers" tab. At the top of the window, click the arrow to the right of the drop down list and scroll down until you find an Undernet server. After selecting one, click the "connect to IRC server" button. Congratulations, you're on IRC (I hope). Now you'll be prompted to enter a channel to join. Type #LTJ in this box.
