Matt is seemingly the second in command of the Digi-destined. He thinks while Tai acts. He is a loner most of the times due to that fact that his parents got divorced when he was young, but by becoming friends with the rest of the Digi-destined he is learning to be part of the group. Because of this His crest of friendship is perfect for him.
