In the world of Japanese Anime there several interesting aspects which tie the different series into many other genres. One such genre is music, but this music is not limited to just the soundtrack of the shows, but also include what are known as Image songs.
In these Image songs, the voice actor (or Seiyuu as they are known as in Japan) sing songs which are suited to the particular character they represent. These image songs are not, possibly for some very good reasons, duplicated in English for the American market.
Due to overwhelming curiosity I started wondering what if would be like if the American market did try thier han at this. I also began wondering what kind of songs would represent the Anime characters. While I’m not very positive that It would be a good idea I decided that I could, instead make up my own for my personal enjoyment.
Instead of writing songs, which is not one of my talents, I have chosen songs that are already in the general market. After a small consideration I decided to place them up on my web site. I wish to know if other people agree with my song selection and I though that others might enjoy the song matching which I have created with certain characters from many of the shows I am familiar with. I have decided to call my little venture "Have an Anime Day" after spotting the picture above in a calander of Have a Day Faces". While these selections have been well though out you must keep in mind that I may be unaware of a song which would better represent certain characters. If you know of any songs that may fit characters in the designated shows please e-mail me. I would also be grateful if you were to send me feedback on your opinion of the songs I have chosen (please keep these clean and polite). You are more than welcome to express a negative opinion on a song I have chosen, but please convey this in the most mature way possible. Thank you.
