PLAIN VIEW HERITAGE FARM,

RURAL BRYANT, SD, PRESENTS:

A PERSONAL TRIBUTE TO

PEARL ANDRINA STADEM GINTHER

To the stranger's eye---

---good vibrations.

To those become familiar---

---a warming sun.

Amidst her sisters---

---an untrumpeted leadership.

On the score of her children---

---a dependable ally.

Amongst her daughters---

---now one of the girls.

Amongst her sons---

---an image of their preferred lovers.

Before her husband, (*she was )---

---dutiful and devoted.

(*Though a widow now---

---she is now more married into God's Service).

Amidst her relatives---

---given to service, cozy, dependable

At the rostrum---

---engaging, earthy.

At the kitchen sink---

---throughly comfortable

On occasion of dispute---

---a force for resolution.

As over against men---

---unthreatening while challenging.

As over against the world of women

---jealous---

---for the happiness of each.

For the poor---

---a lucky throw of the dice.

To the maimed---

---a ready assist

To the aged---

---the highlight of their day.

To the outcast---

---a welcome harbor

To the aspirer after Heaven---

---a good role model

Before Almighty God---

---a sinner saved by Grace

Before this writer---

---a mighty fine lady, and yes---

---My dear Aunt.

--A Tribute by Victor Svanoe, Nephew, Presented at a PVF Reunion

Pearl's Beloved Home Place, Plain View Farm, Rural Bryant, SD, Looking Better than Ever in 2000!

The ( * ) in part, was added by Ron Ginther

Jerry Ginther her youngest son also adds: "It is because Mom is a widow and 100 per cent Norwegian (signified by the flag above that together enables her to live each day as a whole day in Christ's Service!

In fact to date she has had over 63 years

as an adult without a husband,

to where Christ has had her full attention

all those years as a single,

and that is why what is said

about my mother by my cousin Victor

in his poem is true and possible

and why I can say, "to know her,

is to know Christ!"

AMEN!

"MY DEAR MOTHER" by Jerry Ginther

This "personal tribute" to you here has been created to celebrate this gift of your ROOTS.

Along with you being the oldest of the Stadem children has come not only longevity, but also you are so honored due to your testimony too.

This tribute was first assembled as a part of a whole family relationship-compiled book in celebration of your 75th Birthday put together with love, esteem, and golden memories.

Now with your 90th birthday reached already and passed by back on September 13th, 1999, and since we have till now not recorded your stories of your Roots...

AT 91 IN YEAR NEW MILLENNIAL 2000, THE ALPHA OF THE STADEM FAMILY, PEARL...

Pearl With Great-Grandkids, Plus Boy Triplets!

Much of what you experienced in your own childhood would be forgotten or perhaps put aside as unimportant, unless a unique time of your life, such as in your 92th year, comes with your opportunity to tell not only your family, but also those who surf the Internet about the life and heritage you have known.

This grouping of questions answered by you, and transcribed onto this website is not only done in tribute to you, but to also give you the title of PLAIN VIEW FARM'S "Official Historian".

We also highly recognize other people who have contributed to the over-all narrative of this website, especially dear Aunt Estelle.

We gave her the role of being our first great Stadem Family storyteller.

But even she'd agree her oldest sister Pearl holds the position of being the Family Historian with both Papa and Mama Stadem gone to Heaven.

It is us her children and those of us who started this website to dedicate it in honor to her. We are willing to link in any other Stadem children's children's websites, and encourage them to honor their parents in like fashion.

DEAR MOTHER...

This need not be an epic or masterpiece; whatever you share, Pearl, Sister, Auntie Pearl, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, will have a great value to those reading it...

Dear Pearl, you now have the rostrum. It is your place as the oldest of the Stadem Family, and from now on our own website's Historian to tell us some of your recollections and experiences that stand out in your mind as contributing most to the person that you have become and to the way you have lived your life, but first one of your sisters takes the floor, so to speak:

A LOVING SISTER'S TRIBUTE TO PEARL:

One of your sisters spoke of your life for your 75th year Birthday book back then, which we now join in to agree with her belief that your life has been "active, full, giving, receiving, helpful, distinctive, fun, special, supportive, balanced, visible, uncomplicated, dynamic, humble, exhilarating, humorous, serious, friendly, hospitable, embracing honesty, loving, affectionate, colorful, trusty, purpose-full, sincere, and vibrant, with a golden luster for life!"

Loving Adjectives Contributed by Sister Estelle, Now in glory in Heaven
