How The End Came About.
THE RAINBOW HOUSE ITSELF:
As the tv cheifs put Bugle ,Zippy, and George into the
Rainbow house beautiful history was made,it was the
dawn of a great new era an era in which the Bitish
pre-schooler would see Zippy misbehave,Bungle tell him
off and George say "ooh". Alot.
This WAS tv at its best (in fact some people still
have websites on the program unbeleiveable innit) no
words on a website could describe its greatness, but
it was great. The show,along with its charcters,went
down in cult history.
But alas like all "too good to be true" things it had
to come to an end and one day many,many years after
that `great war' it did. But not in the age old
tradition of slowly decling ratings and then being
axed by the men upstairs, OH NO, Rainbow had too much
unknown history behind it to lose veiwers or be
dropped by men in suits , no, they couldnt drop such a
historic show.insted it was the 'stars' themselves
who brought the show to an end.
It happened like this;
as Zippy's and George's friendship grew in strength they
inevetably started talking, and one day whilst building
a house of cards George "mentioned" to zippy that he
had been thinking. Zippy now knowing George very well
was surprised by even this, but what was even more
supprising to Zippy was that George asked him to "arrange" a breakout
and the assassination of Bungle. Zippy saw the chance to
at last erradicate his old enemy. He quickly came up
with a plan; he contacted his old commrades from that
legendary force, the Z.A.S, and reformed his fathers
elite team.
On a cold and misty morning early in 1990 the much
planed opperation was launched, the first wave of men
absailed over the top of the Rainbow house, smashed the
windows threw in stun grenades, burst in, fired a few
rounds off of covering fire and moved through the
house. Zippy and George expected this and hid in a
designated "corner".
Bungle soon realised what was
happening and tried to flee to the garden and probably
would have made it if it wasnt for yet another evil
twist of fate, Geoffrey took a bullet and bungle couldn't leave him he returned to Geoffreys side where he held
him untill he died (well he would have done but he only
had time to say goodbye as he had 22 highly trained
soilders after him at the time)unfortunatly he was
mammed himself and so crawled behind a table.
Zippy and George escaped by helicopter and made for
Monte Carlo, however,in a cheesey-action-film-type
way, Zippy felt there was something he had to do. He
took control of the chopper, turned back towards the
house and launched a missile at it, he was later quoted saying "I just felt it was my duty". Beautiful.
Anyway they both made it to France and after a good
meal and wash they decided to go to the finest casino
Monte Carlo could offer. George got chucked out for
cheating. They said their goodbyes and parted.
"The game is snap gentlemen"
