Rates and Info
The 2001 pheasant season runs from Oct. 20th through Dec. 31st.
Our 2001 pheasant rates are: $125/gun/day from Oct. 20 through Nov. $125/gun/day from Nov 5 through Dec. 31.
This includes- Fully guided hunt with trained dogs.
- Field transportation
- Field lunch
50% deposit is required upon reserving your hunt.
Legal shooting hours for pheasants are: 12:00 noon to sunset Oct. 20th to Oct 27th. 10:00 a.m. to sunset Oct. 28th- Dec 31st.
We will help arrange motel reservations if needed.
Daily limit is 3 cock pheasants/day/person. 15 bird possession limit.
Bird processing is available locally for $3/bird.
South Dakota residents will need an annual small game, 1-day small game, youth game, combination, or junior combination license to hunt phesants.
Nonresident adults need a nonresident small game license. The cost is $100 and is valid for two, five-day periods that are designated on the nonresident small game application (avail. in May/June). Licenses are available over-the-counter from License Agents throughout the state, application through the mail.
