Thank you for visiting the Pops Blue Rhythm Band website. Its our full intention to keep this website up to date on the James River Valley's favorite live entertainment.
It was nice playing for you at the Harmony for Haiti Benefit last weekend even though we only had about 25 minutes to play. We received a lot of great comments and look forward to putting a ring in your ears again sometime soon. The benefit went very well as there was over $4000 raised for the children of Haiti. Thank you for your donations as there are many people in great need and every little bit helps.
RECORDING UPDATE: We have completed the Drums, Bass Guitar, Harmonica, and some Vocals. Its sounding pretty darn diggity good! Finishing up the vocals, guitar and backing vocals will come. After further discussion there will be some other nice surprises on the recording as well. You should have an updated recording in your CD player sometime in early summer which will be a great representation of how our sound has changed over the last few years.
We are now offering the chance to have your very own @pbrband.net email address. Please send an email to bryan@pbrband.net stating what you would like your email to be and we will get it set up right away. Stop and give us your email address at any of our live performances so we can add you to our mailing list or just drop an email to bryan@pbrband.net and we will add you to the list. If you know someone that you think needs to be on the list let us know as well. Anytime something new is happening or there are changes to the website we'll email you to let you know.
You can check out a sample our recording of "Devil Herself" from the 10th Annual Fargo Blues Fest here. We do have a few copies left for those who are interested. You can also pick up your copy at CD Exchange in Aberdeen. There will be a new version of this song on the new CD due out this summer.
We'd like to thank all of you who continue to put up with us and we look forward to seeing you again soon. We've got some exciting things planned for the warm(er) weather which is right around the corner. You can also find us on Myspace.. There are some audio clips on the Audio page but if you want the full version of those songs you'll just have to buy one of our CD's which you will find at CD Exchange in Aberdeen.
