Experiment 2.2

The prime reason for doing this little experiment was to see if a watercolour/pencil hybrid would work for a darker image, as opposed to the light, etherial, colour washes I had created before. This was also an opportunity to trial the use of masking fluid which I had read about in one of Steph Law'stutorials. I had used masking fluid many, many, many years ago when airbrushing and was keen to see how it would figure in a hybrid picture.

Anyways, I reckon 'Ms Spellweaver' here has come out just OK, I seriously need to learn how to control the paint which isn't going to happen overnight. One thing that this experiment taught me is that watercolour most definitely does not come with any kind of 'undo' button........ scary stuff ;^)
