A Study in how not to do things....... This pic went wrong from the start. The skribble started life as a quick concept sketch on A4 copy paper for an A3 Splosh'n'Skribble...... I just started filling in details and at some point the pic tried to become a finished piece. There are so many things wrong with this image that I dont know where to start....... The perspective and lighting on the moon are all wrong, the craters are too big as well!! The ruined citadel in the background is just scribble (as opposed to "skribble" LOL) with no real form or detail..... The dead baddie is lacking in detail, contrast and perspective........ ........and then we come to the girl. The face is wrong, both hands are wrong in a BIG way, the hair is a mess, her legs are not quite right and the sword is........ yeuch! In fact the only things I am truly pleased with about this image are the title and the stonework on the left side of the pic |
