Revolution
Written in about 30 minutes whilst watching a news report in the
revolution in Yugoslavia during my first month of University. About how
people always care about something if it's fashionable to ie. if it
makes them look 'knowledgable' and if they think they might get laid for
knowing about it...
The headless horseman's gonna come for you
Chop off your head and spit on your shoes
Before you die he'll take one look in your eye
"This is for everyone you've killed in your life"
Riot is in the air - so people say they always cared
Squares full of blood - believing in a world that'll never be
There's revolution on the streets of Europe
Down the years and through the ages
Oppression the governing regime of choice
Keep down those who never get a voice
Empire of doom don't underestimate
The sum of all our fear and hate
Rising up to rage against your blood
I've never felt this much in love
