Sin and Death

Romans 5:12a "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin..."

God made a perfect world, but man destroyed this perfect place with sin.

Corinthians 15:26 "The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death."

Death is an enemy that was introduced into the world through Adam, the first man.

Romans 8:2 "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death."

So did some of the animals start eating each other immediately after Adam sinned?

No.

This only happened after the second generation of animals were born after the world wide flood. (This is the great flood of Noah and the ark, which killed all flesh.)
