During the Cosmis Era there was a war between the Naturals (Earth Forces) and the Coordinators (Zaft Forces) The gundams we will talk about today are the GAT-X303 Aegis, GAT-X102 Duel, GAT-X207 Blitz, GAT-X103 Buster, and The GAT-X105 Strike. The gundams were made for the Earth Forces in Heliopolis. Heliopolis was supposed to be a neutral colony, not on either side of the war. After the gundams were made 4 of them were stolen by Zaft. The 4 gundams stolen by Zaft were GAT-X303 Aegis, GAT-X102 Duel, GAT-X207 Blitz, and GAT-X103 Buster. The GAT-X105 Strike was not stolen by Zaft because Murrue Ramius and Kira Yamoto got into the gundam before the Zaft forces got to it. The 6 people who pilot these gundams (at the beginning) are:
Some facts about the gundams: The Aegis is able to transform. The Blitz has Mirage Colloid capabilities which allow it to turn invisible. The Buster's main ability is shooting. The Duel is a general purpose mobile suit. The Strike has Striker Packs. These are backpacks (equipment) that make the Strike able to easily adapt to different combat situations. All the above listed gundams have General Unilateral Neuro-link Dispersive Autonomic Maneuver Synthesis System operating systems. This is where the name GUNDAM comes from. Phase Shift armor is an armor that reduces the damage a gundam recieves from physical attacks. When this armor starts It hisses and the grey color of the gundam changes to other colors depending on the gundam. This week we will still be discussing the GAT-X303 Aegis, GAT-X102 Duel, GAT-X207 Blitz, GAT-X103 Buster, and The GAT-X105 Strike. The numbers and letters by the names of these gundams' names have meaning to them, they tell what the gundam is capable of. The GAT in the names of the mobile suita stands for Gressorial Armament Tactical. (gressorial meaning adapted for walking) The X stands for Experimental GAT-X100s are general purpose. GAT-X200s are These gundams are designed to do specific task. GAT-X300s are transformable. All of these gundam are part of the "G-Project" or the "G-Series" this was a project done by the naturals to try to create gundams naturals could pilot. This week we will still be discussing the GAT-X303 Aegis. The numbers and letters by the names of the gundam's name have meaning to them, they tell what the gundam is capable of. The Aegis' number is 303 so this makes it a transformable gundam. It can transform into mobile armor mode. It's weapons are a "Scylla" beam cannon, a hand-carried beam rifle and four beam sabers built into its limbs. It was stolen by ZAFT form Heliopolis. Later self-destructed to destroy the Strike.
