In your groups, you will need to travel from each landmark to the next, learning about each important location in our country. Each page will provide you with some background information to help develop your schema before you begin your research. You will then need to use the links provided on each page to answer the three research questions posted. Remember, your group must work collaboratively, reading the material provided on each website to agree on an answer to the question.

Once you have recorded the answers to each of the three questions on your worksheet:

  • Bring your sheet to the teacher to be checked
  • Earn your miles to travel to your next location
  • Highlight your journey on the map provided and continue on to the next landmark by clicking on the link provided

At the end of your journey, you will arrive at the mystery location to celebrate with others who have completed their quest. Before you celebrate too much; however, you need to complete a final project to present your information to the class. This project will be a poster highlighting the landmark you enjoyed the most. Guidlines for this project are detailed on the "Evaluation" page.
