The Shepherd's Fold Ministries (SFM) was organized by Pastor Steven Garrett Conley. Along with surrendering to the Holy Spirit, there were two significant factors that led the pastor to organize SFM. The love and desire he and wife, Jenell, hold in their hearts for lost and hurting souls, and to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The name originated from the desire Pastor Conley had in his heart for God's sheep to feel love, joy, peace, and happiness in the comfort of the God's fold..

After many days and nights of praying, fasting and seeking God, the inspiration and encouragement by the Holy Spirit led the organization of Shepherd's Fold Ministries.  On November 4, 2001, SFM held its first Sunday morning worship service in the pastor's home with 4 adults and six children.  Within a few weeks, Pastor Conley was led by the Holy Spirit to move Sunday morning worship services to the Midwest City Community Center (MWCCC), but continue Wednesday night prayer meeting & bible study at his home.

With wisdom, experience, prayer and dedication to God, he began seeking a new location.In April, 2003, SFM moved to their current location, 3200 East Reno, Oklahoma City, OK. SFM immediately began to hold Wednesday night prayer meeting and bible study at the new church (Sunday morning worship continued at the MWCCC).Individual members pledged for furniture, chairs, carpet, paint, etc., and extended long hours of cleaning and preparing to move in the new church.

Because we believe it happens after prayer, on June 1, 2003, the first Sunday morning worship service was held at our current facility.  The SFM family continued to grow spiritually and in numbers with the new church facility. Over twenty in-house ministries have developed under the strong leadership of Pastor Conley.  

SFM serves a focal point to win souls and empower people to be able to stand on the Word of God. The church teaches people to have faith in any life situation, and to realize Jesus Christ has paid the price for the world's sin, sickness and poverty. Also, SFM recognize our humble beginning, the great contribution of our members and friends, our major accomplishments and most of all, we give honor to our Lord and Savior for what He has done with this the Lords Church and His people.  Only with his favor, our obedience, His Word and standing on His promises are we able to fulfill the Great Commission.
