Phoebe somehow becomes psychically and physically linked with the violent past of the Old West ghost town complete with horses, petticoats, cowboys and six-shooters, and Prue must go back in time to save her sister from the horrifying fate of re-living a man's death every day of her life for eternity. A nervous bride might expect her nuptials to be plagued by problems with an incompetent caterer, an out-of-tune band or some unruly guests, but Piper should be so lucky. Instead, the Charmed One's big day is jeopardized by the escapades of sister Prue's astral self. The manifestation of Prue's subconscious takes a human form and decides to have some fun at a local biker bar. The phantom Prue then quarrels with a bar patron who turns up dead, which makes the real Prue a murder suspect.

Cole learns that the Brotherhood, an elite demonic group of which he was a member, is murdering street prophets to protect a secret plan involving a computer company, so he goes undercover as Belthazor to infiltrate the organization to help Prue, Phoebe, Piper and Leo learn more about the evil. But their trust in him falters when it looks as though they are being double-crossed.
