MUD BOG RACEING

For those of you who are not familiar with "mud bog racing it consists basically of a 200' long dug out pit filled with dirt and water (mud). When flagged for starting, the bogger (truck and driver) procede to make their way to the other end of the pit. When all forward motion is ceased, another flagger waves you to stop. In the event that you are lucky enough to make it out the other end of the pit, your time to complete the run is measured (via stop- watch) and recorded against all other "full pull" times. If no-one makes a full pull, the winners and runners-up are calculated by the distance driven. Classes of trucks are decided by different factors (tire size mostly, sometimes engine modifications) so that everyone has a "fair" chance.
